Frankly am very happy they are changing the layout of NXT because the indy feel is good for a time but the same indy layout for so many years I don’t think is beneficial in the long term.
Also, like mentioned in the article, the progression for NXT was simple where you would see these performers for a limited period putting their best foot forward but now the performers feel stale as much as they change their characters because seeing gargano or ciampa and many others in the same level doesn’t help.
The earlier takeovers i feel were more special because you would have some experienced players and mixture of new players but now stories are shared by players who already have lots of experience so the purpose of NXT is not fulfilled.
NXT I feel is now stuck between being developmental or being a third brand which is not helping their brand.
