Daily News Update – March 15, 2022

Of course the important point of the day is Scott Hall.  I’ll have more on this in the column this week but this is one of the jarring ones to me.  Hall was someone I remember debuting in the WWF in 1992 and he was just straight up cool.  Either in the WWF or WCW, Hall always felt like one of the awesome guys that could always do something good.  He has the pair of ladder matches with Shawn and of course jumping the barricade on Nitro, but he was also one of the perfect Intercontinental Title guys.  A buddy of mine once said he always seemed happy in that role and that is a very valuable person to have.  This one hurts and again it is due to something that he didn’t bring on himself to make it even worse.  I’ll miss him and the tributes have been harder to sit through than usual.
