“ I’m trying to get into Yuta and it’s just not clicking yet. In a similar way to Daniel Garcia, it’s kind of hard to get behind the idea of these wrestling machines. The match with Moxley was a great story, but now he’s just the third guy out there with Danielson and Moxley. This was a good showcase for the Blackpool guys though and I want to see where they’re going next. Yuta can keep being a project, but he isn’t quite there yet and I don’t know if he’s going to get there without some changes.”

I disagree with you on Yuta, I haven’t seen this match because smackdown was so boring I forgot rampage was even on but yuta has been way better built than Garcia and I’m actually interested in seeing him now after his matches with Danielson and moxley.

He very well may get me eventually and I certainly don’t dislike him. Just not making it work yet.

I liked this episode a lot more than you did – I’d go as far as to say it’s one of my favorite Rampages so far. Yuta looked like he could hang with Mox, Bryan, and Billy, but especially Hangman vs Cole I thought was great. I’ve been a little down on the feud too, but it really felt like they hated each other. A great (hopefully) end to a blood feud that they can revisit again in a year’s time.

What we got was indeed good. I’m not that into Page as champion or Yuta as the new plucky good guy who keeps fighting. Just not clicking for me (yet).
