    Tommy. Just got banned as well.

    If you ask me, there’s something going on behind the scenes in order to get rid of pro-WWE commenters.

    Whatever, though. The toxicity over there really gets out of hand sometimes, and I want to 100% support you. You’re a great dude, and I’m glad there are other places to discuss wrestling. Guess I’ll kick my feet up and go give Mooney a hug.

      Much appreciated, but as someone who is behind the scenes and on as high a level as you can be without being named Scott or working for ITR, there is no such thing.

      Sonic- I don’t believe that to be the case about some shadow ban of people who aren’t AEW die hards. Either way- I’ll see you here or over on Tommy’s reviews at 411Mania for the next week or so.

    Hey Tommy- It’s Sean Mooney from over at Scott’s Blog of Doom. I apparently was banned for something over there but I have no idea what for. I don’t think I said anything bad anywhere but all of a sudden it just says I am banned. Are you able to see why? Or if I got caught up in something else? The ban would have had to have happened sometime after 4 pm on 03/16 which was the last time I was on and posting before trying to get in now. Thanks for any info

      From what we can find, your IP address shows another account which made a post telling someone some rather horrible things in Scott’s Revolution review. Do you know anything about that?

        No honestly I do not know anything about that. I did not post anything in Scott’s Revolution thread today under “Sean Mooney” or any other name. I only post at the BOD under one account and I would not make up an account to purposely say something hurtful to another person there. I have far too much respect for Scott, the mods, and others there to do that. However, if the IP address thing says otherwise I’m not sure how I can go about proving my innocence so I understand if the ban stands- as disappointing as that would be as I would miss some of the genuine conversation and fun I’ve had there over the past couple of years.

        If it does stand give my regards to the people over there and let them know it’s been fun- even when we disagree.

          Some of the staff and I are discussing it but I can assure you your past behavior (which is positive) will be factored in heavily.

            All I can say is I appreciate the consideration. And I reiterate- and please relay to the other mods as well- I recognize I can’t prove my innocence other than my word (which only carries so much weight on the Internet) so if the ban has to stand, no hard feelings. I get the position you all are in and what you are asked to do.

            So we’ve talked it over and the decision we’ve come to is that the evidence would seem to suggest what appears to have happened did happen (not saying conclusively that it did, but that appears to be the case). Now, that being said, you’ve long since been a regular and haven’t caused any drama, so we’re going to have you sit out for a week. You’ll be back next Thursday (the 23rd) but if something like this happens again (including just based on your IP address), it’s likely going to be permanent.

            Does that work? (There’s a chance you won’t be able to reply to this particular post. If not, reply to any of them in this thread).

            Tommy- That works for me and it is completely fair. I appreciate the consideration from everyone there and I appreciate you finding out what happened for me. I totally understand the decision you all came to on this.

            Will it just automatically turn off the IP ban next Thursday at some point?

            It looks like I will be here and commenting on your reviews over at 411Mania for a week or so- at the very least.

      I’m so sorry, brother. Something is up over there. Bayless banned me today hours after I said I had stopped calling him out for some nonsense.

      If you ask me, you’re gone because you don’t tow the AEW fanboy line.
