No wonder damn near all of their good talent dipped, with Santana and Slater having a foot out the door. TNA is gonna TNA

Longtime reader (nearly 8 years) but this is actually my 1st comment here ever (focusing on college). But MY GOD, this was as bad of a debut as it ever gets
    Checklist
    – Horrendous Production ✅
    – attempting to be WWE only with about 1/4 of the budget ✅
    – the show becoming Total Nonstop Ads with just non stop commercials all throughout ✅
    – emulating WWE even more with useless celebrities ✅
    – bad matches that were spaced over long periods of time ✅
Safe to say LOLTNA truly lives on

Welcome! And well done on focusing. If I had done more of that in college, I might not have to watch Impact.

Yeah this was an all time disaster. I have no idea how this was the best they could do with so much time to get ready.

100%, the production honestly to me was the biggest blunder (impressively on a show so full of them), you’d think his was filmed on a Samsung galaxy 7 with how cheap it looked, also the Einstein’s they are, filmed a huge chunk of empty seats when showcasing the content creators (bonus note, the fact they made the show, but other notable talents were completely left off is just….TNA.
Also as a Dallas resident, tickets here were $36 general commission and $56 for middle seats, up from when I went to genesis last year which was $25 for all seating (middle seats included), but yeah at this rate, I’ll surprised if anyone continues to stick with this show.

        • Thomas Hall says:

Geez yeah that explains a lot of the empty seats. It’s not terrible, but that’s asking a lot for something other than one of the bigger promotions.

          • Jesse.S says:

Yep, Genesis not only was cheaper but had a far bigger attendance (this year like last night will have the entire section next to the hard cam tarped off), but to sum up last night as a whole is was TNA doing their best WWE impression only if their budget was about $100K or so. Apart from being bad, it was just quite frankly sad to see, I gave them another chance around early 2024 when they rebranded as I genuinely was enjoying their product (Genesis last year was one of the best days of my life as it was only the 2nd wrestling event I’ve ever attended), but it’s now a husk that has credits (JUST LIKE WWE) and while it’s very early, I’m dreading any show that’s worse in 2026
