AAA On FOX – October 17, 2026: To Be Inmortal (Includes Full Show)
AAA On FOX
Date: October 17, 2026
Location: Domo de la Feria de San Luis Potosi, Leon, Mexico
Commentators: Corey Graves, John Bradshaw Layfield, Rey Mysterio
We’re coming up on Heroes Inmortales and it’s time to get the card officially set up. There is a good chance that will happen here, but we already have the Mega Title match set. Dominik Mysterio will be getting his rematch for the title against El Grande Americano, which will likely get some focus this week. Let’s get to it.
Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.
Opening sequence.
Here is La Catalina to get things going. She talks about getting to live her dream and thanks the people for making that happen. It took a special night to beat Flammer and if you know her story, you know what she has gone through to get here. This is only the beginning but here are Las Toxicas to interrupt.
Flammer says the title change was a spark of luck on one night but she was champion for over 1,100 days. Catalina says that was impressive, though there might be some other women who deserve a title shot first. What about La Hiedra? Maravilla says they’re a team and Catalina won’t put them against each other. Catalina says we’ll see what Rey Mysterio says about this.
We look at El Fiscal helping Mr. Iguana against Los Vipers.
Flammer pleads her case to Rey Mysterio, who promises a decision by the end of the night.
Taurus vs. El Fiscal
They go technical to start before going with the exchange of slaps to the face. Fiscal dropkicks him to the floor for the suicide dive but misses a dive off the apron. A running clothesline gives Taurus two back inside and he grinds away on a rather aggressive headlock. Fiscal fights up and hits a spinning high crossbody before grabbing a reverse Figure Four. Taurus eventually makes the rope but the knee is in trouble. The referee goes to check on him so here is Abismo Negro Jr. for a gorilla press gutbuster. Taurus pops up and hits a backsplash, as the referee is fine with all of this, for the pin at 7:11.
Rating: C+. I wasn’t wild about the referee being fine with Fiscal apparently falling down on his own while the referee wasn’t looking but other than that, the match was fine. The big thing was that Fiscal vs. Abismo Negro continues and that has to be leading to a huge showdown. It’s been teased way too long to not go there and it seems like we’ll be getting to see it, which should be a heck of a fight.
Post match Fiscal issues the official challenge to Abismo Negro for Heroes Inmortales. Abismo Negro shrugs it off and leaves.
La Hiedra meets with Rey Mysterio with a pitch for a title shot. Mysterio will make his announcement tonight.
We look at AAA’s efforts in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Rey Mysterio runs down the Heroes Inmortales card, with the Reina de Reinas Title being defended, say it with me, in a triple threat match.
Tag Team Titles: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr./Galeno vs. Mecha Wolf/El Mesias
Wagner and Galeno are defending. Wagner and Mesias start things off with Galeno taking him down to work on the leg. Galeno comes in for the running clotheslines in the corner but Wolf gets a blind tag. That lets Mesias drop to the floor for a face first ram into the apron and Wagner is in trouble. Wolf sends him outside so Mesias can get in a ram to the post as the beating continues.
Wagner sends Mesias outside, which lets Mesias pull Galeno to the floor before the tag can go through. A jumping enziguri gets Wagner out of trouble though and it’s back to Galeno to clean house. Mesias and Galeno slug it out with Mesias being knocked outside for a ram into the steps. Back in and the Wagner Driver to Wolf sets up Galeno’s frog splash to retain at 9:13.
Rating: B-. Good enough match here as the Wagner Brothers do feel like a solid team. At the same time, they feel like a team waiting for someone to beat them and that doesn’t sound like a long reign. Then again it’s AAA and long reigns are kind of their thing. Either way, good enough match, even with the challengers feeling kind of thrown out there.
Post match here are Los Perros del Mal as the teams brawl. La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Nino Hamburguesa come out to brawl with Los Perros before their Trios Titles shot at Heroes Inmortales.
Overall Rating: C+. This was one of those shows that was more “here’s everything for Heroes Inmortales” even though only one or two matches had been set coming into this week. It’s sufficient for the job, but it feels really rushed and that makes for a bit of a rough watch. The good thing is they built up some matches, but it wasn’t exactly a must see show.
Results
Taurus b. El Fiscal – Backsplash
El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr./Galeno b. Mecha Wolf/El Mesias – Frog splash to Wolf
