Impact Wrestling
Date: November 5, 2026
Location: Dothan Civic Center, Dothan, Alabama
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt
So the big story coming out of last week was the apparent latest destruction of Jeff Hardy. Odds are that means a Canadian TV taping coming up sooner than later but for now, it’s time to keep getting ready for Destination X. There are a bunch of things to build towards for the show so let’s get to it.
Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.
The opening recap looks at Syx possibly murdering Jeff Hardy last week in the Slaughterhouse match.
Opening sequence.
Here is Moose to get things going. He was talking to Matt Hardy earlier and Hardy said Moose hasn’t been himself lately. So what is next for Moose? He actually remember Syx taking him out and they’re next, because Moose is a petty b**** when it comes to payback. Cue Syx for the brawl but Matt Hardy makes the save with a pipe.
Amazing Red and Leon Slater are teaming together to go after the Tag Team Titles and Slater is honored. Trey Miguel comes up to offer good luck as he’ll be on commentary. Miguel and Slater have a tense handshake.
Brian Johnson unsuccessfully tries to interrupt an argument between Indi Hartwell and Daria Rae. Violence is teased but Johnson calms Rae down.
Avery Styles/Frankie Kazarian vs. Alexander Lev/Hunter James
Mustafa Ali is on commentary as Styles neckbreakers Lev to start. Styles is taken into the wrong corner and some right hands have him in trouble. The chinlock keeps styles down and Lev drives him back into the corner for some shoulders to the ribs. Styles gets up and brings in Kazarian, who takes James out and lets Styles hit the Spiral Tap for the pin at 4:56.
Rating: C. The match was just another chance for Styles to get his feet wet and start establishing what he can do in the ring. That’s the best way to bring him along if he’s going to be on national television. The match was put together as it should have been, as Styles shouldn’t be dominating anyone yet, while Kazarian shouldn’t have any trouble against this kind of competition.
Post match Ali comes in to say something to Styles but gets punched out by Kazarian.
The System tries to calm Alisha Edwards down before Eddie Edwards vs. Bear Bronson but she leaves frustrated anyway.
Eddie Edwards vs. Bear Bronson
For the leadership of the System. They yell at each other to start and Bronson powers him into the corner for a chop. A suplex sends Edwards flying out of the corner but he catches Bronson up top with a super hurricanrana. We take a break and come back with Edwards striking away and managing to knock Bronson down.
Bronson sends him outside for the suicide dive, only for Edwards to get in a dive of his own. Bronson’s Black Hole Slam drops Edwards onto the ramp and they both dive back in to beat the count. They slug it out until Bronson’s sitout chokebomb gets two, giving us a stunned kickout face. Bronson puts him up top and gets sunset bombed back down. The Boston Knee Party finishes for Edwards at 13:24.
Rating: B-. I wasn’t sure how this one was going to go and it was cool to have that feeling. What matters the most is that Bronson looked comfortable in there against an established star like Edwards. Bronson hasn’t been around here very long but he’s done rather well at establishing himself as someone who can hang with anyone. Nice match, with a less than obvious ending.
Post match the rest of the team comes out, with Bronson extending his hands to Edwards, who shakes it. Everything seems cool.
Daria Rae interrupts Brian Johnson from sending in a report. Santino Marella comes in and doesn’t seem to think much of Johnson.
Fire N Flava vs. Allie/Shotzi Blackheart
Blackheart and Steelz start things off with an exchange of chops until Blackheart grabs a rollup for two. Steelz slips out of a fireman’s carry so it’s off to Hogan, who gets crushed in the corner by Allie. Back up and Allie gets sent into the corner for a snapmare but she drops Hogan without much trouble.
Blackheart’s reverse cannonball connects in the corner and she hits a dive out to the floor. Back in and a step up Fameasser drops Blackheart, allowing Hogan to come in with a frog splash for two. Everything breaks down and we get the parade of knockdowns, setting up Allie and Blackheart with stereo Upside Downs. Blackheart’s top rope backsplash finishes Hogan at 7:11.
Rating: C+. I’m guessing Fire N Flava are back together to put other teams over and Allie/Blackheart are the latest Undead Realm team. That’s perfectly fine, though not having Rosemary around is holding it down. The team should be ok, but it would be nice to have some stability in the division for a bit, as that has often been lacking.
John Skyler tells Mila Moore that he didn’t get his request…and she seemingly breaks up with him for not being good enough. Well that was rough. After she’s gone, Skyler says he loves her.
Post break, Skyler is still distraught.
M By Elegance apologizes to Heather By Elegance for last week and says they’re best friends. With M gone, Elayna Black comes in to mess with Heather about her lack of titles. A match seems to be made for next week.
Here is the Righteous to initiate Harley Hudson. They put her through a bit of a speech but point out that it took her too long to say yes and someone did it in her place. Cue Xia Brookside to jump Hudson from behind and join the team.
Matt Hardy and Moose are ready for Syx at Destination X.
Tag Team Titles: Amazing Red/Leon Slater vs. Nemeths
The Nemeths are defending and Trey Miguel is on commentary. Nic backs Red into the corner to start and they fight over a headlock with neither getting very far. Slater comes in to work on Nic’s arm and there are the right hands in the corner. It’s back to Red for some right hands of his own so Ryan comes in and is dropkicked outside almost immediately. The Nemeths are in trouble on the floor as we take a break.
We come back with Red fighting out of Ryan’s crossface chickenwing, allowing the tag to Slater. The spinning torture rack slam drops Ryan but he gets in a running DDT for two. Nic comes in to rip at Slater’s face and Ryan grabs a chinlock. Slater gets right back up and brings Red back in to clean house, including a tornado DDT for two.
Everything breaks down and Red avoids the Danger Zone, with Slater sending Nic into the post. Red dives onto Nemeth but the save bumps the referee. Slater jumps into a belt shot from Ryan and Red kicks Nic in the head. Another belt shot breaks up the Code Red and the Danger Zone retains the titles at 17:38.
Rating: B. At least it was Nic getting the pin, as a former multiple time World Champion beating anyone is hardly some stretch. Red’s status is long since made and he probably doesn’t make it out of Destination X as champion anyway. This match felt a little sudden but it definitely came off big and that’s what they were shooting for here.
Post match Elijah runs in to chase the Nemeths off.
Harley Hudson calls her mom and talks about how she isn’t sure what to do because she doesn’t have any friends. After the call is over, she gets a note saying “PLAY WITH ME”, signed with lips. Hudson is confused and finds Taryn Terrell, who hands her a doll and welcomes her to the Dollhouse. Well that came out of nowhere.
Overall Rating: B-. This felt like a bigger shown than usual in some ways, though the action was only so good most of the time. The main event was the best part of the show and they laid some groundwork for Destination X. For now, it’s a good enough show, but Destination X needs some more focus in the time they have left before the show.
