It’s the complete history of In Your House, a WWF pay per view series that ran from May 1995 to April 1999. The series covers most of the New Generation and the first half of the Attitude Era and everything in between. There are some absolute masterpieces included in this series, ranging from the first Hell in a Cell to Canadian Stampede to Austin vs. Dude Love II to Shawn vs. Mankind and many others.

Also included is a look back at the story that kept the company afloat when WCW’s boot was over the WWF’s throat: the Border War. The majority of the story took place at In Your House, including the final blowoff in Calgary. There’s also a good portion of the most famous feud of all time with the corporate Vince McMahon trying to suppress the rebellion being waged by Stone Cold Steve Austin. The feud defined the Attitude Era and carried the company to heights never believed possible.

In Your House was one of the most important pay per view series of all time and features some of the most important matches in the company’s history. This new book looks at every single show in the series and includes detailed history and analysis of each show, broken down match by match and segment by segment. The book runs about 320 pages on a Kindle or about 170 single spaced pages in Word.

New E-Book: KB’s Complete Monday Nitro Reviews Volume I

Yes I’ve done it again, this time with the first in a series Monday Nitro reviews. Volume I covers everything from the first episode through the end of 1996, which includes a lot of awesome moments and matches. These shows feature a long series of Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit matches, a bunch of world title matches and changes, the New Japan invasion, the debut of Chris Jericho, the Alliance to End Hulkamania, the reformation of the Four Horsemen, and of course the rise of the NWO in their dominance of WCW.

This was one of the most important times in wrestling history as the way wrestling was presented on television was changed forever. The days of an hour of squash matches a week were gone and the flagship show was now on Monday nights. The Monday Night Wars were underway and this show rocked Monday Night Raw to its core. These shows still hold up today and are well worth checking out.

Now my dad is the kind of guy that doesn’t impress easily. He thinks everything was cooler when he was younger and that very little entertainment today is actually entertaining. When he came over, John Cena was lifting Big Show up for the AA. My dad’s jaw dropped and he was clearly impressed.

The moral to the story: show us something impressive that is going to catch some eyes, not the same stuff that is only going to interest people already watching. More on this topic when I have a bit more time.
