We’re only a few weeks away from Bound For Glory and last week saw the reveal of the Syk as the recent mystery attackers. That should open up a big showdown with the Hardys at Bound For Glory, but we have some other things to cover. That includes more on Nic Nemeth vs. Leon Slater so let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

In Memory Of Pac.

X-Division Title Qualifying Match: BDE vs. Mr. Elegance

BDE starts fast with a springboard crossbody and an armdrag sends Elegance outside. Back in and BDE misses a springboard to let Elegance take over, including a cravate. Some rolling suplexes give Elegance two but the wind up DDT is blocked. BDE can’t get his Kliq Cutter but he can get a sunset flip to pin Elegance at 4:30.

Rating: C. The match was what you would expect but BDE getting a win does actually feel like a nice moment. He’s never going to be a big star but they’ve put something into the idea that he’s worked so hard to get here and he finally beat someone. It’s not like Elegance is going to lose anything by being beaten here anyway as he’s just a goofy villain so nice job here.

John Skyler and Jason Hotch have to team together tonight and Hotch is a bit condescending about Mila Moore. Skyler talks about how he had nothing and finally found someone but Hotch can’t be happy for him. Tonight, he hopes Skyler will be in his corner.

The Hometown Man meets the Dude Wipes mascot but AJ Francis comes in to steal the wipes that the mascot gave to the Man.

Zoey Serrano vs. Indi Hartwell

Xia Brookside is on commentary. The brawl starts on the floor with both of them being rammed into the apron. They get inside with Hartwell in control and the bell rings. Serrano is up with a superkick and half nelson suplex to put Hartwell down. Some big crossface shots have Hartwell in more trouble but she spinebusters Serrano out of the air. They head outside again, with Hartwell being sent into the steps. That’s not enough for Serrano, who kicks a security guard in the face and then hits Hartwell with a chair for the DQ at 3:04.

Rating: C. This was more of an angle than a match but I do like the ending, as you don’t want either of them taking a pin right now. Serrano is doing something different by being the unhinged woman who attacks random people while Hartwell is on her way to the title match at Bound For Glory. It was kept rather short, which granted might not be a bad idea.

Post match Serrano unloads on Hartwell with the chair and Brookside belts Hartwell in the head to stand as tall as she can.

Order 4 vs. Great Hands

Tasha Steelz and Mila Moore are here too. Ali dropkicks Skyler off the apron to start and flips over Hotch in the corner. A missed charge puts Ali on the floor though and Hotch takes him out with a moonsault. That just earns him a gorilla press drop onto the apron from Zero though and Ali DDTs him onto the floor.

Skyler is up with a pair of spears to Ali and the Hands are back up, only to get clotheslined outside by Zero. The big no hands dive takes them out again and a spinebuster gets two on Hotch back inside. The swinging Downward Spiral plants Hotch for two more and Zero knocks Skyler off the apron.

Ali’s chinlock doesn’t last long and it’s a sitout powerbomb to put him down. That’s enough for the tag back to Skyler and the Hands get together to take Zero down. The double superplex is broken up though and it’s a double powerbomb to drop the Hands again. Back up and Hotch knocks Zero to the floor, leaving Ali to miss a 450. The slingshot spear gives Skyler two but Ali is right back with a Sharpshooter for the tap at 11:41.

Rating: B. It’s nice to see the Great Hands back together, as they’re rather talented when they get to work together. At the same time, it should be interesting to see where this goes. I was surprised to see the Hands lose here, though it wouldn’t make the most sense to have Ali lose in a tag match and Zero losing getting pinned again wouldn’t be a great idea either.

Post match Ali won’t let go so Skyler makes the save. Ali makes Zero take Hotch out again and then yells at Zero….so Steelz tells Zero to take Ali out. That’s exactly what Zero does, followed by a chokebomb to Moore.

Post break the four of them get in a big brawl but Santino Marella comes in to make a four way International Title match for Bound For Glory.

AJ Francis vs. Moose

Francis, with Expressions, splashes him to start fast and avoids a charge in the corner to put Moose down. They’re quickly on the floor with Francis sending him into the steps but it’s too early for the Down Payment back inside. Moose kicks him in the face but Francis is right back with a suplex into the chinlock. That’s broken up as well so Moose goes up, where he is quickly crotched.

Moose manages to shove him off the top and hit a high crossbody, setting up a top rope superplex to send Francis crashing back down for two. The spear is broken up by an Expressions distraction and Francis’ spear gets two. The villains load up the table, which is then covered with Dude Wipes, so the Dude Wipes mascot gets inside (oh boy). Expressions gets kicked through the table so Moose goes after the mascot, meaning Moose can get in the spear for the pin at 7:50.

Rating: C. The focus of this match was an inflated box of wipes in underwear. I’m well aware that the company got a nice check for this but that doesn’t make for good television. As for the match itself, it was a fine power fight between two big guys, but it was kind of hard to get the focus on that with everything else going on.

Rosemary and Kiera Hogan go to meet Rosemary, who isn’t sure if this is real and says she can’t go back. Rosemary rams herself into a chain link fence and warns them of SNAKES IN THE GRASS before wandering off.

Joe Alonzo vs. Leon Slater

Before the match, Alonzo says his own name a lot and says Slater isn’t going to win the title. He references Nic Nemeth (on commentary) from 2006 and says that Slater isn’t going to take away his spot while promising to take away Slater’s Bound For Glory spot. The bell rings and Slater better beat him in about 30 seconds. A leg lariat and the Swanton 450 finish Alonzo at 21 seconds. There we go!

Post match Nemeth steals Slater’s jacket…so Slater steals Nemeth’s titles. Keeping Slater looking smart is an important idea and they’re doing well.

We look at Frankie Kazarian training Avery Styles.

Elayna Black comes in to see the Elegance Brand and promises to take the Knockouts TV Title. Black mocks the Elegance Brand, with M saying she doesn’t need them. That’s enough for Black to get her to agree to not have the Brand next week. The Personal Concierge points out that might be a bad idea.

Ricky Sosa vs. Cedric Alexander

Sosa backs him up against the ropes for a clean break to start and then grabs a quick northern lights suplex. Alexander is knocked to the floor for a big no hands dive as we take a break. We come back with Alexander hitting a basement dropkick and sending Sosa outside. The chinlock goes on back inside, which is broken up just as fast.

Sosa flips over him out of the corner and…I think DDTs him out of the air for two. Alexander is right back with a suplex but springboards into a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cue the System for a distraction, which is cut off just as fast. Alisha Edwards offers a distraction though and here is Eddie Edwards to kick Sosa low. The Lumbar Check finishes Sosa at 9:57.

Rating: B-. They’re doing a nice job of setting Sosa up for his big win over Eddie at Bound For Glory and that should make for a good moment. Sosa hasn’t quite broken through as a star around here yet but the fans like him. Let him have the moment on the big stage and see where he can go. Eddie is as smart of a choice to make him look good in the ring so the pieces are in the right place from here.

Here is the Syx for their first big speech. Shaw says “we’re here” and says now you know who the attackers have been, but why? This is a rotten place and sometimes a place is so rotten that it has to be cut apart. Sawyer says it doesn’t matter who you are around here because you’re on the chopping block. The Hardys have survived everything over the years and that just means the Syx get to try it again. Now we get to see how hard it is to kill them.

Cue the Hardys, who say they’re still standing because they’re unkillable and will not die. If the Syx want to find out how hard they are to kill, let’s do it at Bound For Glory, anything goes and falls count anywhere. The Hardys are ready to go right now but Syx bail to end the show. You knew the match was coming so just announcing it quickly is the way to go. At the same time, are we really having the former Wyatts pick up the Eric Young sickness deal?

Overall Rating: B-. This was the kind of show that the company needed for Bound For Glory, as we’re getting closer to the show and they were running out of time to build everything up. That’s what they did here, with most of the matches getting at least some time. They still have one more week to finalize everything and it should be interesting to see how they put everything together. This is the most important time of the year and I’m curious to see how they make it work. This week’s show did some good stuff and that’s a positive step forward.

Results
BDE b. Mr. Elegance – Sunset flip
Indi Hartwell b. Zoey Serrano when Serrano used a chair
Order 4 b. Great Hands – Sharpshooter to Skyler
Moose b. AJ Francis – Spear
Leon Slater b. Joe Alonzo – Swanton 450
Cedric Alexander b. Ricky Sosa – Lumbar Check

TNA Impact Wrestling – September 17, 2026: When Impact Works Well

Impact Wrestling
Date: September 17, 2026
Location: CAA Center, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

We’re less than a month away from Bound For Glory and that means it is time to start firming up a lot of the card. That’s for later though, as Moose is putting his career on the line against Frankie Kazarian in what should be a pretty big showdown. Other than that, we have another qualifying match for the X-Division Title so let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening recap.

Opening sequence.

Knockouts TV Title: Kiera Hogan vs. M By Elegance

M, with the Elegance Brand, is defending while Allie is here with Hogan. They fight over wrist control to start and Hogan sends her into the ropes for a running hip attack. M is right back up with a Blockbuster and a basement dropkick with the kickout leaving her stunned. The double arm crank goes on and Hogan is pulled down by the hair to keep her in trouble. Hogan is back up with a running hip attack but Face The Music is blocked. M misses her moonsault though and Hogan grabs a rollup for two. Back up and Hogan tries a rollup out of the corner, with M reversing into a kneeling Tombstone to retain at 5:37.

Rating: C. M needs wins like this to boost herself up a bit and this went well. At the same time, it could probably boost the Brand up for a Knockouts Tag Team Title somewhere down the line. It’s annoying to have champions lose but the tag division is hardly overflowing with teams in the first place.

Leon Slater doesn’t like what Nic Nemeth has become so tonight he’s going to beat up Ryan Nemeth.

John Skyler again seems to try hitting on Mila Moore to no avail as she takes a phone call instead.

X-Division Title Qualifying Match: LJ Cleary vs. Rich Swann

Cleary, from Ireland, is making his debut. We get a handshake and we’re ready to go, with both of them flipping away and avoiding the early contact. Swann connects with a dropkick and they flip up to a standoff and another handshake. Swann takes him down for the step up kick to the back and Cleary is sent outside for a kick in the chair.

With Cleary still in the chair, Swann gets a running start around the ring to kick him in the face but gets cut off by a dive for trying it again. They trade dives to the floor before Cleary gets two off a Death Valley Driver. After we hear some audio that I don’t think was intentional, Swann wins a strike off but Cleary is back with a springboard Canadian Destroyer for two. Swann rolls around a lot and hits a handspring cutter, setting up the Phoenix splash for the pin at 8:05.

Rating: B. These two had some sweet chemistry out there and it was nice to see Swann getting to have this kind of a match. He has the resume around here to be a bigger star but he needs some wins to get him back up the ladder a bit. I’ve seen Cleary a few times before and he has talent, so it was nice to see him getting a chance here.

Frankie Kazarian says Moose has brought this on himself and he’s ready to take Moose out.

The System vs. Elijah/Ricky Sosa

Elijah works on Eddie’s arm to start and it’s off to Sosa for two off a slam. A snap powerslam gives Sosa one and Elijah gets to hit Alexander in the face a few times. Walk With Elijah is loaded up to Alexander while Sosa dives onto Edwards at the same time as we take a break.

We come back with Alexander pulling at Elijah’s beard and Edwards mocking his inability to get a tag. Elijah manages a jumping knee to knock Edwards out of the air and it’s back to Sosa as everything breaks down. Walk With Elijah cuts off the rest of the invading System and Sosa’s running uppercut is good for the pin on Alexander at 12:07.

Rating: B-. This got better near the end and it’s good to see Sosa get a win. He’s still trying to find himself in TNA but he’s around here often enough and getting wins. Having him in various tag teams is fine for now, as being the guy you bring in when you need a partner isn’t a bad idea.

Post match the System lays the winners out, with Eddie grabbing a mic and having a seat. He wants Sosa at Bound For Glory to see if Sosa belongs here. Yeah that’s an upgrade.

The Righteous isn’t happy with BDE for turning them down and he has one more chance.

Ryan Nemeth vs. Leon Slater

Nic Nemeth is on commentary. Slater starts fast with the right hands in the corner and nails a handspring elbow. Ryan is sent outside for a dive from Slater, who stops to glare at Nic, allowing Ryan to neckbreaker him on the way back inside. Some forearms set up a chinlock and a Nic style jumping DDT gives Ryan two. Slater fights up and kicks him in the head, setting up a very spinning torture rack bomb. The Swanton 450 finishes Ryan at 4:47.

Rating: C+. That’s all this needed to be as it’s Ryan Nemeth against the #1 contender to the World Title. Slater is on the way to the biggest match of his career and he got to beat up the champion’s brother in the process. Thankfully they didn’t drag this out in any way and Slater got to finish with his big move.

Post match Nic runs in to beat Slater down, including a belt shot to the head.

John Skyler has roses for Mila Moore but hears her on the phone, mocking the idea that she would ever date someone who looked like him.

Moose is ready to do his best as his back is to the wall.

Zoey Serrano vs. Harley Hudson

Serrano wastes no time in shoving her down and mocking Hudson’s pushups. Some choking in the corner has Hudson in more trouble and we’re already in the chinlock. Back up and Hudson knocks her into the corner for a string of running hip attacks. A rollup gives Hudson two but Serrano German suplexes her into a brainbuster onto the knee for two. Hudson trips her down and drops a leg for two, only for Serrano to come back with her flipping knee (with Hudson being flipped backwards onto the knee) and the pin at 5:50.

Rating: C. Hudson continues to impress me as she’s getting a bit more established around here. I could go for her having more success, but Serrano feels like she’s the bigger prospect at the moment. If nothing else, Serrano looking fairly dominant in her singles debut makes sense and that knee looked great.

Post match Daria Rae comes out to tell Serrano to finish Hudson, which brings out Indi Hartwell for the save. Hartwell says Rae isn’t getting rid of her but Rae says Hartwell is on borrowed time.

Moose vs. Frankie Kazarian

Moose’s TNA career is on the line and Avery Styles is here with Kazarian. Moose knocks him down but misses an early backsplash, allowing Kazarian to crucifix him for two. Kazarian’s Backstabber and Back To The Future gets two, only for Moose to come back with the chokebomb out of the corner.

Kazarian bails out to the floor and tries the slingshot cutter, with Moose head faking him for a slingshot splash instead. A high crossbody gives Kazarian two more and we take a break. We come back with both of them getting to their feet for the slow slugout. Some rollups give Kazarian two more and he clotheslines Moose for one. A headbutt and the spear connect for Moose but Kazarian rolls out to the floor.

Moose makes the mistake of trying another spear outside and gets backdropped through a table, which is good for a nine count. Fade To Black gives Kazarian two and the chickenwing goes on but Moose keeps his arm up. Moose rolls out and gets two off the spear before spearing a springboarding Kazarian out of the air. One more spear gives Moose the pin at 16:52.

Rating: B. The best thing here is the match was starting to feel big. That was the idea is it was Moose putting up everything he had for one more shot at Kazarian, which paid off. The match could have used some more time to be set up, but at least the match wound up being rather good and worthy of the main event slot.

Post match Moose crushes Kazarian’s crown with a chair.

Matt Hardy has been attacked….and two people look down at him before walking away. Well there’s your next big detail.

Overall Rating: B+. There was enough good action to carry this one with the main event and Swann vs. Cleary being the highlights. This show felt more packed than usual and it made for one of the better Impacts in awhile. That’s a great sign as we’re this close to Bound For Glory, but they have to keep it up or this doesn’t mean very much.

Results
M By Elegance b. Kiera Hogan – Kneeling Tombstone
Rich Swann b. LJ Cleary – Phoenix splash
Elijah/Ricky Sosa b. The System – Running uppercut to Alexander
Leon Slater b. Ryan Nemeth – Swanton 450
Zoey Serrano b. Harley Hudson – Flipping knee to the face

Impact Wrestling – September 10, 2026: A Very TNA Main Event

Impact Wrestling
Date: September 10, 2026
Location: CAA Center, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

We have just over a month to go before Bound For Glory but the bigger story around here seems to be a mystery attacker. Someone has been taking out wrestlers left and right and some accusations have set up Nic Nemeth vs. Matt Hardy in a No DQ match. That should serve as a main event, though I’m not sure how good the service will be. Let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening recap.

Opening sequence.

Elayna Black vs. Heather By Elegance

The Elegance Brand is here with Heather. Black starts fast with some knees to put Heather on the floor but she switches places to hit Black with a crossbody from the apron. Back in and Heather cranks on the arm before posing a bit. A Samoan drop gives Heather two but Black is back up with a running knee in the corner. The Blackout finishes Heather at 5:23.

Rating: C. Well, at least Black got a clean win over a name. That’s something she’s been lacking for a long time now and this could be a nice step forward for her. It’s not like the division doesn’t need some fresh blood so maybe this can help. If nothing else, Heather losing and getting frustrated is always worth a look.

Ryan Nemeth says he was attacked last week by the mystery attacker but Nic Nemeth was there to help him out.

Jason Hotch runs into Daria Rae, who puts him in a match with Special Agent Zero. Oh and Mila Moore can be guest referee.

Here is Frankie Kazarian, with Avery Styles, for the King’s Speech. Tonight is a coronation as Kazarian is officially the new face of the franchise after beating Moose. He is the only King Of TNA and has a crown, but here is Moose to interrupt. Moose says Kazarian got lucky to win at Lockdown because it was Moose’s spear that let Kazarian escape. That’s why Moose wants to face him again, one fall, pinfall or submission. Kazarian says no, so Moose says Kazarian has to win to prove himself to the locker room. The match is on, but Moose has to put his career on the line. Deal. Well that escalated quickly.

Gabby Forza is rather fired up for her Knockouts Title shot.

X-Division Title Qualifying Match: Rohit Raju vs. Fabian Aichner

KC Navarro is on commentary. Aichner powers him down to start and we hit the early headlock. Raju goes to the eye and knocks him outside for a ram into the steps, followed by a double stomp for two back inside. Aichner wastes no time in fighting back and getting two off a middle rope moonsault. Back up and Raju knocks him right back down, followed by a tornado DDT out of the corner for two. That’s shrugged off and Hasta La Vista (the sitout Last Ride) finishes for Aichner at 5:40.

Rating: C+. I like the finisher, as there is always something to that big of a powerbomb, though this was as much of a formality as you can get. Raju has never been much to see around here and he was little more than a flashback on this show. Aichner has been presented as a newcomer worth watching for a bit now and he needed this kind of a win to get into a big match at Bound For Glory.

Zoey Serrano talks about growing up a wrestling fan and how getting into the business changed her life forever. She’s going to stay true to herself, which is being the best wrestler in the world. I’ve heard a lot worse.

Special Agent Zero vs. Jason Hotch

Mila Moore is guest referee and Order 4 is at ringside. Zero jumps him to start fast and sends him flying off a hiptoss. Another whip sends Hotch hard into the corner and a big legdrop gives Zero two. A jumping enziguri gives Hotch…well nothing as Moore is taking her time on the counting. Zero’s clothesline gets a rather speedy two so Hotch yells at Moore, earning himself a headbutt to put him down again.

Hotch manages to reverse a suplex into a swinging DDT and a frog splash gets nothing again, as Moore checks her nails. This time Tasha Steelz gets in the ring for the brawl with Moore, whose shirt is ripped off. Steelz designates herself referee and counts the fastest pin in history off a rollup to give Hotch the pin at 6:34.

Rating: C+. It’s a story that has been done for years in wrestling and they didn’t exactly reinvent the wheel here. I do like that Hotch got another win and isn’t having his singles run dropped. He’s an intriguing talent and if they can build something out of him, why not see what they can put together.

Leon Slater comes up to Matt Hardy and wishes him luck on the main event. Slater runs into Jason Hotch and pleasantries are exchanged.

Knockouts Title: Gabby Forza vs. Xia Brookside

Brookside is defending but doesn’t have a gnome cap or Legion Of Doom shoulder pads, meaning advantage: Forza. The fans get behind Forza, who gets caught with a rather aggressive headlock. Some forearms knock Forza into the corner and the running hip attack keeps her down. The Broken Wings connect but Forza pulls her into the corner for a crash.

Some clotheslines, both standing and running, connect for Forza in the corner and an Oklahoma Stampede gets two. A Vader Bomb connects as well, with Brookside getting her foot on the rope. That’s enough for Brookside to leave but Indi Hartwell cuts her off. Cue Daria Rae to yell at Hartwell, allowing Brookside to get in a belt shot to retain at 5:40.

Rating: C. The matches aren’t exactly getting time tonight and that was hardly the most thrilling ending. Forza has charisma for days, but she might want to tone down a bit of the comedy stuff. The idea is funny, but if that becomes the focus of what she’s doing, it won’t wind up working very long.

Kiera Hogan, with Allie, is ready to win the Knockouts TV Title next week.

Here is Elijah for some music. His song this week is about the System, who comes out to interrupt and warn him to stay out of their way. The System has a list of people they don’t like, starting with Ricky Sosa. Elijah would be glad to be on that list so here is Sosa to chase the System off. The tag match is set for next week.

Matt Hardy is visited by Willow, who apparently is just in Matt’s mind.

Leon Slater has been attacked.

Vincent vs. Rich Swann

Dutch is here with Vincent and Swann charges right in to start swinging away fast. Vincent fights back and takes over, with a backbreaker leaving Swann in trouble. Swann’s comeback is cut off as he gets knocked into the corner but comes out swinging. A dive to the floor hits Dutch and Swann goes back inside, where the referee gets bumped. Swann is knocked down as well and here is BDE, all in white like the Righteous. BDE picks Swann up and then cutters Vincent, allowing Swann to hit the Phoenix splash for the win at 5:18.

Rating: C+. Well at least they didn’t waste time on this “will he/won’t he” thing with BDE, who is still only so valuable in the first place. The Righteous continues to have issues with finding any kind of success and I’m rather fine with that. After seeing them against the Hardys for so long, I could go for a bit of a break from them, though thankfully this is at least a fresh story.

Here’s what’s coming next week.

TNA World Title: Matt Hardy vs. Nic Nemeth

Nemeth is defending and there are no disqualifications. They waste no time in fighting out to the floor and Nemeth has to put a table back underneath the ring. That doesn’t work for Matt, who leans it against the ring and suplexes Nemeth through it as we take a break. We come back with Nemeth getting two off a superplex and sending Hardy into a chair in the corner.

Hardy avoids being sent through a table in the corner and gets in a clothesline to put both of them down. The multiple rams into the buckles have Nemeth in more trouble and Hardy whips him through the table (with the first attempt not breaking anything). The Twist Of Fate connects but Ryan Nemeth pulls the referee at two. Hardy elbows Nemeth through the table at ringside but walks into a low blow for two back inside. Hardy’s low blow and small package get two so Nemeth hits him with a wrench to retain at 13:17.

Rating: B-. This was a weird one as it was a fine enough hardcore match/street fight and the idea of Hardy being outnumbered and ultimately losing as a result. The problem is Hardy was moving in slow motion at times and the match doesn’t exactly feel like must see TV. They had the match you would have expected, but dang it felt like quite the TNA main event.

Overall Rating: C+. Outside of the main event, this was a bunch of pretty quick matches, though they did a good job of moving stories forward. The mystery attacker feels like it could be a big reveal, though I’m almost worried about how it might be. Otherwise, I do like some of the new names that they’re bringing along and it could make for a nice future. The pieces are there but they have to get the execution to work, which is always the hard part.

Results
Elayna Black b. Heather By Elegance – Blackout
Fabian Aichner b. Rohit Raju – Hasta La Vista
Jason Hotch b. Special Agent Zero – Rollup with a fast count
Xia Brookside b. Gabby Forza – Belt shot
Rich Swann b. Vincent – Phoenix splash
Nic Nemeth b. Matt Hardy – Wrench to the head

Impact Wrestling – September 3, 2026: Whodunit?

Impact Wrestling
Date: September 3, 2026
Location: CAA Center, Brampton, Ontario, Canada
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

We’re still on the long road to Bound For Glory and the card is already starting to come together. The World Title match is set, with Leon Slater challenging Nic Nemeth via Option C, though it means we’ll be needing to crown a new X-Division Champion. That process starts tonight so let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening sequence.

Here is Matt Hardy to get things going. The Hardys are known as the Goats and the TNA Tag Team Titles mean the world to them. They’re already planning to get the titles back but Jeff is in the hospital. So who would have done that to him? Of course it’s the Nemeths, who know that the Hardys have a rematch for the titles. Cue the Nemeths, with Nic denying taking Jeff out. Matt slugs away anyway and security can only do so much to break it up.

Trey Miguel is ready to face Jason Hotch for a future shot at the International Title. They’re friends, but that won’t matter tonight.

Elayna Black is interrupted by the Elegance Brand, with M mocking her. Black isn’t impressed and seems to have a match with Heather set for later.

Here is Impressions to introduce AJ Francis.

AJ Francis vs. Brent Oakley

Oakley, with his amazing mustache, jumps at Francis to start and actually avoids a charge in the corner. Then he gets caught with the TFL to give Francis the pin at 49 seconds.

Post match Francis says he is the best AJ ever in TNA and wants to face Avery Styles in his first match. Instead here is Santino Marella, who, after the applause, introduces Styles, who agrees to face Francis next week. This brings out Frankie Kazarian to call the whole thing off, because that’s not a good way for Styles to debut. Hopefully AJ Styles makes an appearance at some point, though I can get why he wouldn’t as well.

Daria Rae gives Zoey Serrano and Xia Brookside a quick pep talk.

Harley Hudson/Indi Hartwell vs. Zoey Serrano/Xia Brookside

Daria Rae is on commentary. Brookside immediately tags out (gah) so Hartwell clotheslines Serrano in the corner instead. The villains are knocked outside, where Serrano shoves a fan and we take a break. We come back with Brookside grabbing a crossarm choke on Hudson, who starts to fight up.

Serrano comes in for the save and knocks Brookside down by mistake, allowing Hartwell to come back in. House is quickly cleaned and a boot to the head gets two on Serrano. Everything breaks down and they all get knocked to the mat. Serrano knees Hartwell in the face but gets yelled at by Brookside, with Hartwell fighting back. Hartwell grabs a weird armbar to make Brookside tap at 10:05.

Rating: C+. This was all about giving Serrano her first match and having Hartwell get her win over Brookside. Hartwell getting a big time match against either Brookside or Rae at Bound For Glory seems all but guaranteed at this point, as Hartwell feels like the fan favorite. At least the hold is better than the Hurts Donut.

Ryan Nemeth has been attacked as well.

X-Division Title Qualifying Match: KC Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo

Leon Slater is on commentary and Alonzo is the newest signing to the company. Alonzo knows that Slater would rather hand the title over than have Alonzo (who likes to talk in the third person) take it from him. Alonzo takes Navarro down for a pat on the head to start before missing a charge out to the floor. Back in and Navarro kicks him in the head in the corner but gets sent over the corner for a big crash.

Alonzo throws him back inside for a slam and some yelling at the crowd, followed by the double arm crank. Back up and they hit stereo crossbodies to leave them both down, with Navarro getting up for a tornado DDT. That’s enough to send Alonzo to the apron, where he snaps Navarro’s throat across the top. A springboard ax handle (that’s a new one) gives Alonzo two but Navarro catches him with the 305. After escaping the Blessing In Disguise, Alonzo gets rolled up for two, followed by the Blessing In Disguise to give Navarro the pin at 7:41.

Rating: B-. Navarro seems to be on the rise in TNA and it wouldn’t stun me to see him win the X-Division Title. There are far worse ideas and it would be nice to see some fresh blood in the title picture. Alonzo made a nice enough impression here, as he has some personality and had a decent match, so we’ll have to see where he goes from here.

Fabian Aichner wants to be X-Division Champion.

Women’s Tag Team Title: Kiera Hogan/Allie vs. Vipress/Shazza McKenzie

Hogan/Allie are defending in an open challenge. McKenzie backs Allie into the corner to start but they switch places, with Allie hitting a basement clothesline. Hogan comes in for a step up Fameasser but Vipress gets the tag to take over. The Cannonball in the corner hits Hogan and it’s back to McKenzie for a seated abdominal stretch. That’s broken up and it’s back to Allie for the Upside Down. A quick Codebreaker into Face The Music to Vipress retains the titles at 4:29.

Rating: C. This was a basic title match and seemed to be more about getting the new champions reps. That’s about all they can do, as they were thrown together out of nowhere. They can wait a bit before they have a serious title defense, so this is about as good as it gets for the short term.

Indi Hartwell talks to Daria Rae about getting a Knockouts Title shot but Rae gives it to Gabby Forza instead.

Ricky Sosa isn’t happy with the System beating him at Lockdown but here is the System to mock him. Elijah comes up to say leave him alone, and that’s what the System does. Yeah I’d leave before he could sing too.

Dutch vs. BDE

Vincent and Rich Swann are here too. The bell rings and Vincent offers to let BDE get his first win by having Dutch lay down. Instead BDE drops an elbow, which brings Dutch up to pull a crossbody out of the air. BDE is sent crashing into the corner but comes back with a superkick. Another springboard is pulled out of the air for Death Walks and the pin at 3:55.

Rating: C-. A good chunk of that was spent on Vincent trying to get BDE to accept the easy pin. That’s an interesting story and the Righteous needs something to do other than chasing the Hardys for months on end. At least they even explained why they would want a loser like BDE on the team, as he has the influence that the Righteous wants.

Post match Vincent lays Swann out and the Righteous kidnap BDE.

John Skyler seems to hit on Mila Moore and is promptly shut down.

Trey Miguel vs. Jason Hotch

For an International Title shot. They stare each other down and then fight over a lockup until Miguel takes over on the arm. Hotch is up with a wristlock, which is broken up rather quickly. The test of strength doesn’t go very far so they trade armdrags and missed dropkicks into a standoff.

We take a break and come back with Hotch in trouble and getting caught with a sliding kick to the face. Hotch escapes a Last Chancery and pops up with a slingshot suplex. Miguel kicks him in the back and gets two off a Lionsault but Hotch hits some clotheslines. A rolling neckbreaker (ala Mustafa Ali) gives Hotch two and he catches Miguel with a kick in the corner.

Miguel stomps him on the back but gets caught with a standing double stomp for two more. They trade poisonranas and Hotch’s torture rack bomb gets a rather near fall (I bought that one). Back up and they trade shots to the head until they’re both down. They untape their hands and slug it out, at least until Special Agent Zero comes in to clothesline them both for the double DQ at 18:45.

Rating: B. GAH I was into this one until the end, as I wanted to see who was going to pull this off. The triple threat title match should be fun, though I do look forward to Ali being shocked at both of them getting a title shot. It’s slightly better than Hotch losing and (probably) falling back down to the midcard, but dang I could have gone for more of this as they were having an awesome match.

Matt Hardy and Nic Nemeth argue some more but Santino Marella comes in to make a No DQ World Title match for next week.

Overall Rating: C+. The main event was pretty awesome but the rest of the show was focused on a bunch of midcard stuff. The Matt Hardy vs. Nic Nemeth stuff is only so interesting as it’s just filler until we get to Bound For Glory. That didn’t leave much to focus on here, though what we got was still good enough. They need something big to bridge the gap to Bound For Glory though as that show is a good ways off. Nice enough show here, but they’ll need to step some things up.

Results
AJ Francis b. Brent Oakley – TFL
Indi Hartwell/Harley Hudson b. Zoey Serrano/Xia Brookside – Armbar to Brookside

Impact Wrestling – July 30, 2026: Impressive. Most Impressive.

Impact Wrestling
Date: July 30, 2026
Location: Liacourus Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

The countdown to Lockdown continues after the big title match last week. Nic Nemeth retained the World Title over KC Navarro and that means he’ll be needing a new challenger. As for this week, we have Jason Hotch challenging his Order 4 boss Mustafa Ali for the International Title. We’re live tonight too so let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

The opening recap looks at last week’s World Title match and sets up the International Title match.

Opening sequence.

Ricky Sosa/Leon Slater vs. The System

The rest of the System is here with the System. Sosa and Edwards slug it out to start with Sosa grabbing a quick full nelson slam. Everything breaks down and Slater comes in for a splash to Alexander and a monkey flip to Edwards. A pair of dives take out the System and we take a break.

We come back with Sosa in trouble and Alisha Edwards even getting in some choking from the floor. Alexander’s reverse chinlock doesn’t work very well and a diving tag brings in Slater to start the comeback. Slater tosses Alexander into a powerslam for two and a running shot to the face drops Myers. The Swanton 450 finishes Alexander at 12:13.

Rating: B-. Good opener here and odds are that result lets Slater get set up for a rematch for the title. At the same time Sosa gets a nice win by association and the System will bounce back as always. In other words, it’s a win that helps the winners and a loss that doesn’t really hurt the losers. Not bad at all.

Post match Slater issues the challenge for the title match at Lockdown.

Mustafa Ali wants the rest of Order 4 here for a meeting right now. John Skyler tries to go find the other members but gets distracted by Mila Moore. Ali yells a lot.

The Elegance Brand is ready to win, though Heather isn’t sure what happens if she has to face M in the Knockouts TV Title tournament. The Personal Concierge isn’t worried.

We pause to wish Rebel well as she is fighting ALS.

Knockouts TV Title Tournament Quarterfinals: Thea Hail vs. Indi Hartwell

Hail’s headlock doesn’t get her very far to start and Hartwell shoulders her out to the floor. A boot to the head gives Hartwell two back inside and she grabs the armbar. The Hurts Donut is blocked though and Hail is up to work on the arm as well. Hartwell actually can’t power out and gets taken back down.

Hail tries to switch to the Kimura but gets kicked out to the floor. Back in and Hartwell avoids the springboard backsplash but can’t get her up for the powerbomb (I’m not sure if that was legit or not but Hartwell grabbed her arm for a nice explanation). Instead it’s a Hurts Donut to give Hartwell the pin at 7:42.

Rating: C+. Hartwell moving on is hardly a surprise and it wouldn’t be shocking to see her winning the whole thing. It’s clear that TNA sees her as one of the bigger stars around so maybe she winds up getting some gold this way. The match was ok enough with the arm work, but Hail wasn’t going over one of the more popular stars in the division.

AJ Francis takes up a collection for his injured valet. Rich Swann and BDE aren’t impressed.

Here is KC Navarro for a chat. Last week he had the biggest chance of his life as he challenged for the TNA World Title but he came up short. He has tried for his entire career and wants to be an inspiration to people. After hearing that he’ll never be anything for years, he knows that he belongs and his career is just beginning.

Cue the System to interrupt, with Cedric Alexander turning down Leon Slater’s challenge for Lockdown. Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater don’t get another match either but Navarro interrupts, saying this is his time. The obvious beatdown ensues, with Sosa and Slater running in for the save.

Allie panics over not being able to find Rosemary but Daria Rae doesn’t want to hear it.

Xia Brookside attacked Wendy Choo and Elayna Black last week because she could. Choo comes in to call Brookside a coward so Santino Marella comes in to make a title match for next week. Black comes in to tell Choo to shut Brookside up next week.

Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Elegance Brand vs. Rosemary/Allie

Rosemary/Allie are defending, but there is no Rosemary to start. Allie slugs away at both of them to start but the numbers game catches up with her rather quickly. M tries to drop Heather onto Allie but hits raised knees. The Personal Concierge grabs a belt but gets pulled inside, with Allie raking his injured eyes (that’s mean). Mr. Elegance comes in so Allie hits him with the belt, followed by another shot to Heather for the DQ at 2:39.

Post match Allie takes out M as well.

Here are the Hardys, now in their GOAT masks, with Matt even confirming that he loves cheese steaks. They brag about their win over the Righteous last week and, after a shout out to Walking Dead spinoff star Aimee Garcia in the audience, say it’s time to start wrecking some people.

They invented the TLC match but here are Nic and Ryan Nemeth to interrupt. The Nemeths want a title shot at Lockdown and here is Santino Marella to make the match….and Nic is going to defend the World Title against Jeff. Well that’s kind of huge. Ryan gets to face Matt next week and goes to hit on Garcia, who throws a drink in his face. Garcia celebrates with the Hardys.

AJ Francis continues to try to collect money but runs into the Hometown Man. He’s not paying anything due to a case of hatred, so here is Elijah, who gets a cage match with Francis at Lockdown. That feud seemed pretty done but I guess they need to flesh out the card.

Daria Rae tells Santino Marella that it’s Rosemary/Allie vs. the Elegance Brand at Lockdown. They both think they need to find Rosemary, but they also need to trim some fat off the roster. Rae wants Harley Hudson gone but that gets shot down.

Knockouts TV Title Tournament Quarterfinals: Jada Stone vs. Jody Threat

They fight over arm control to start and Threat takes her into the corner for some clotheslines. A World’s Strongest Slam onto the apron drops Stone hard but she’s right back up with a 619. Stone’s split legged moonsault gets two but Threat kicks her in the back. A German suplex looks to set up Pop Shove It, with Stone elbowing her way out. The Spark Stunner is blocked so Stone grabs a rollup for the pin out of nowhere at 5:28.

Rating: C. I’m not sure how much upside I see in either of these two but at some point the division is going to need some fresh blood. Stone might as well get a chance as she’s still new enough around here to not have anything tainted. She won’t win the tournament but she might get something out of a decent run to the semifinals.

International Title: Jason Hotch vs. Mustafa Ali

Ali, with the rest of Order 4, is defending and Hotch’s family is here too (interesting). Hotch’s early headlock just earns him a chop and Ali sends him outside for a suicide dive. Hotch is right back with a DDT on the floor and a high crossbody gets two back inside. Ali fights back but makes the mistake of mocking Hotch’s family though and gets taken down with a moonsault to the floor.

We take a break and come back with both of them on top and Hotch superplexing him to the floor and through a table in a crazy crash. They both have to dive back inside to beat the count and Hotch is fired up enough to grab a backbreaker for two. Hotch misses a frog splash and the referee gets bumped, allowing Ali to go low. Ali grabs a belt and starts whipping Hotch, with John Skyler coming in to take it away.

Hotch runs into Skyler by mistake (you schnook) so Ali grabs a rollup with feet on the ropes…which Tasha Steelz breaks up. Steelz and Mila Moore brawl to the back, leaving Ali to grab a piledriver. The 450 connects but Hotch rolls him up for a near fall of his own. Ali’s charge hits the buckle and it’s a top rope double stomp to a standing Ali, followed by a frog splash to make Hotch champion at 14:49. The shot of Hotch’s young daughter in the crowd being happy her dad won is great.

Rating: B+. I wasn’t expecting this to be much of anything but dang did they make this work. There is a very good chance that Hotch is a short term champion but this is the kind of win that he can point to for the rest of his career. There is also something great about the team rising up to get rid of Ali and the result worked far better than I was expecting. Heck of a main event here.

Hotch celebrates and his family gets in the ring to end the show.

Overall Rating: B. TNA has a bad reputation for some of its live Impacts but they made it work here. The main event was a cool moment, which is more than I would have expected from that match. They also set up some matches for Lockdown (some of the buildups were better than others) and it should be a good build over the next few weeks. Solid show here, with that main event being a great surprise.

Results
Ricky Sosa/Leon Slater b. The System – Swanton 450 to Alexander
Indi Hartwell b. Thea Hail – Hurts Donut
Elegance Brand b. Allie via DQ when Allie hit Heather with the title
Jada Stone b. Jody Threat – Rollup
Jason Hotch b. Mustafa Ali – Frog splash

Impact Wrestling – April 30, 2026: Walk And Fight

Impact Wrestling
Date: April 30, 2026
Location: Upstate Medical University Arena At The Oncenter War Memorial, Syracuse, New York
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

Unless I’ve missed it, we don’t have a big show announced yet outside of Slammiversary. That’s all the way in late June so I’d assume we’ll be getting an announcement sooner than later. I’m not sure who is going to be coming after the World Title, but it’s time for Elijah vs. Frankie Kazarian in a guitar strap match. Let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening recap.

Opening sequence.

Vincent vs. Jeff Hardy

Their partners are barred from ringside. Hardy jumps him to start fast but it’s way too early for the Swanton. Instead Hardy dives outside to take him down on the floor, followed by the spinning mule kick back inside. Another Swanton attempt is broken up and Vincent rams him into the apron. Back in and Vincent bends Hardy’s back over his knee, only for Hardy to fight up with a sitout jawbreaker. They punch each other down until Hardy gets back up for the legdrop between the legs.

The Twist Of Fate gets two so Hardy Russian legsweeps him into a rollup for two more. A sitout gordbuster drops Vincent again but he pulls Hardy back out of the corner for the crash. Vincent goes up…and the lights go out…oh no….and yeah Broken Matt is back. The lights go out again and when they come back up, Jeff is on top and Vincent is down, meaning the Swanton can finish for Jeff at 7:55.

Rating: C+. Dang it. I was hoping we wouldn’t be going here even after all of the signs pointing in this direction. I’m not a big fan of the Broken stuff and we’re probably coming up on another Final Deletion style match. That being said, I do appreciate that this is a story taking place without the titles, which is always appreciated.

Frankie Kazarian is ready for the guitar strap match because he’s been in the first of a bunch of matches over the last twenty years. Tonight, he’s doing it again.

International Title: Mustafa Ali vs. Adam Brooks

Ali is defending after picking a random country. Brooks gets run over to start and Ali grabs a running hurricanrana. A spinwheel kick knocks Brooks down but he’s right back with a kick to the face. Ali gets backdropped to the floor but plants Brooks on the floor to cut him right back off. The rolling neckbreaker gives Ali two back inside and we hit the chinlock. Ali gets up but dives into a punch to the face to knock him out of the air. Brooks brainbusters him onto the knee for two but misses a charge in the corner. The 450 retains the title at 5:55.

Rating: C+. Brooks got a chance to showcase himself here but this was the first time around for Ali’s international deal. That’s something that could go on for a long time and it means more of Ali in the ring, which is a good thing to see. Just let it get build up for awhile and then have a big name waiting on him. Simple and classic.

Eric Young wants to face EC3 once and for all next week.

We run down the rest of the card.

Tessa Blanchard/Victoria Crawford/Mila Moore vs. Rosemary/Allie/Mara Sade

And yes, commentary brings up that Allie was killed. Rosemary whips Crawford into the corner to start and hammers away, followed by a bite to send her outside. Sade hits a big dive onto the three villains and we take a break. We come back with Rosemary getting triple kneed in the corner as we see a rather bad shot of a bunch of empty seats. Rosemary fights up and brings Allie back in to clean house. Allie and Rosemary grab stereo Upside Downs and the Codebreaker finishes Moore at 8:36.

Rating: C+. It’s nice to see Allie get a win after such a bad case of death so at least she still has something. I’m a bit surprised to see Moore take the fall, as Crawford tends to be the team’s designated loser. I’m not sure how long the Undead Realm women are going to be around but at least we got a nice moment here.

Santino Marella says he has been cleared of all charges and he has authority again. Next week, it’s Moose/Leon Slater vs. the System, plus the Tag Team and Knockouts Titles are on the line. That’s a relief, as Rae being in charge full time doesn’t sound great.

Here is Indi Hartwell, who is happy with the Marella decision, despite Daria Rae’s interference. Other than that, she’s coming for Arianna Grace.

Mike Santana is happy with his match against Rich Swann last week but Nic Nemeth shows up, suggesting he’ll be cashing in soon.

Daria Rae talks to her unseen boss, who confirms that all of Santino Marella’s matches are set and Marella is back in power. Indi Hartwell comes in and Rae threatens to not renew her contract.

Mr. Elegance vs. Home Town Man

The Elegance Brand is here with Elegance, who poses to start. That earns him an armbar, which is broken up rather quickly. Instead, Man grabs an airplane spin and chokes on the rope. Elegance is back with a spinebuster, followed by some running knees to the back (which I had to see more than once to see what it was).

The Brand messes with Man’s Syracuse jersey though and that’s enough to really start the comeback. An elbow and high crossbody give Man two but Ash gets on the apron to dance. Man shrugs off her offer of a kiss though and puts a mask on her, only to get caught with the wind up DDT to give Elegance the pin at 6:05.

Rating: C-. I’m not sure what to make of this, as Elegance really isn’t good, which I guess is the entire point. I think? Maybe? Either way, he’s better as someone who stands outside and poses a lot, as the in-ring side of things isn’t his strong suit. The whole Brand needs something to do though, as they’re just kind of floating around at the moment.

Allie and Mara Sade are happy when Rosemary comes in to say they still have a lot of work to do. Sade dances, Allie tries to dance, and Rosemary gets caught dancing, which has her rather annoyed.

Lei Ying Lee is crushed and is ready to leave her title shot behind. Tommy Dreamer comes up to tie this into his feud with Raven. Everyone believes in Lee, who agrees to stay.

Here is Leon Slater for a chat. He’s happy to be here because he is getting closer and closer to being the longest reigning X-Division Champion of all time. That’s all fine, but he’s not happy with Cedric Alexander, who can’t keep Slater’s name out of his mouth. Cue Alexander, who says he has earned a title shot, which will come on May 14, a day before Slater sets the record. Cue the System to jump Slater but Moose runs in for the save. Brian Myers gets powerbombed onto the rest of the team and Alisha Edwards has to bail to avoid a spear.

Ryan Nemeth feels left out by his big brother…and explains this to AJ Francis. After explaining that he does NOT like Nemeth slapping his leg, Francis points out that the Nemeths did all of this to him. He doesn’t care, and wants Nemeth to leave KC Navarro to him.

Frankie Kazarian vs. Elijah

It’s a strap match with four corners rules, though they start in the back. Kazarian seems to try to cheat to start things off to no avail and they slug it out. They fight around a bit, until Kazarian finds some hand sanitizer to blind Elijah. Kazarian slams Elijah’s arm in a door but gets crotched on some piece of equipment. Elijah puts him on a cart and sends him rolling into a crash. Some rams into a garage door have Kazarian in more trouble and they head to ringside as we take a break.

We come back with the brawl continuing at ringside until Elijah sends him inside. A rope walk sunset bomb (cool) puts Kazarian down but he’s right back up with some whips to the ribs. That’s fine with Elijah, who ties him around the post and gets in his own whipping. Kazarian whips him on the apron and drops a leg but gets pulled into the post. Back in and Kazarian grabs the chickenwing but Elijah hits three buckles.

That’s broken up as Kazarian pulls him down into the middle to stay on the arm. Elijah breaks that up as well and knees him out of the air. A Backstabber cuts Elijah off so Kazarian gets three buckles, with Elijah pulling him down. The strap breaks so the Highwayman’s Farewell connects and Elijah gets three buckles. Kazarian tries to fight back so it’s a heck of a guitar shot to knock him silly and give Elijah the fourth buckle for the win at 16:34.

Rating: B-. Yeah it was fine, which is about as you’re going to get in this kind of a match most of the time. The feud was only so interesting in the first place and this match didn’t make things that much better. Elijah winning is fine, though I’d rather he just get into another personal feud rather than moving up the ladder very far. I just don’t see him as a bigger name around here, as he tends to fit in better around this level.

Overall Rating: C+. The show was fine, even if it felt more like a means to set up the bigger shows down the line. That’s not a bad thing to do every so often as it lets things get built up a bit more. They don’t have a special coming up, but there are a few big matches set, which is fine enough for the time being. It’s not a must see show but it kept things moving forward fairly well. Call it a setup show and a decent one at that.

Results
Jeff Hardy b. Vincent – Swanton
Mustafa Ali b. Adam Brooks – 450
Rosemary/Allie/Mara Sade b. Tessa Blanchard/Victoria Crawford/Mila Moore – Codebreaker to Moore
Mr. Elegance b. Home Town Man – Wind Up DDT
Elijah b. Frankie Kazarian – Elijah touched all four turnbuckles

Impact Wrestling – April 23, 2026: Carry It Guys

Impact Wrestling
Date: April 23, 2026
Location: Upstate Medical University Arena At The Oncenter War Memorial, Syracuse, New York
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

It’s World Title time, as Rich Swann is getting a shot at Mike Santana and the gold. That should be enough to carry the show but we still have a bit of fallout from Rebellion to deal with this week. If nothing else, the Hardys still want revenge on the Righteous, as their feud is somehow still going. Let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening sequence.

Bear Bronson vs. Nic Nemeth

The rest of the System is here and Ryan Nemeth is on commentary. Bronson chokes in the corner to start and gives him a rather enthusiastic slam. Nic fights back but Bronson sits down on his chest, allowing Alisha Edwards to get in a cheap shot from the floor. The side slam gives Bronson two but Nic fights up and hits a quick Fameasser.

Bronson chokebombs him for two more, only to get sent into the post. The running DDT and superkick give Nic two more but Bronson knocks him outside. The System surrounds him but KC Navarro comes out to offer a distraction. Nic hits the superkick into the Danger Zone for the pin at 8:27.

Rating: B-. This actually wound up being pretty decent, which isn’t a surprise as Bronson has completely exceeded his expectations in his time around here. The interference likely sets up another tag match down the line and I’m digging Nic as a good guy. You could put him into the World Title scene rather easily and that will likely be the case down the line, though going after the System is a good way to start.

Rich Swann, with BDE, is very excited for the main event and wants to do this alone. BDE doesn’t seem to mind.

Here is…well it’s supposed to be Elijah for a concert but it’s obviously Frankie Kazarian with a fake beard (which commentary does recognize). He has a bad case of the blues because he can’t beat Kazarian and he has written a song called Kaz Is My Daddy. Cue the real Elijah to choke Kazarian out and announce a guitar strap match. Then he sings about how horrible Kazarian is. I’ve heard worse ideas for a gimmick match.

EC3 has a chair and is ready to end Eric Young.

Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore are back from the Undead Realm and next week, they’re fighting Rosemary and company in their world. Sidenote: I know it’s (probably) not intentional but Moore’s “Hotter Than Her” shirt with an arrow pointing at Crawford is hilarious.

Dutch vs. Matt Hardy

Their partners are banned from ringside. Hardy wastes no time in setting up a table at ringside and spray paints SACRIFICE on top. Dutch jumps him inside for the opening bell and blocks an early Twist Of Fate attempt. The Side Effect connects and they go outside, with Hardy ramming Dutch’s head into the steps over and over.

We take a break and come back with Dutch charging into a side slam and grabbing a chinlock. That’s broken up and Dutch misses an elbow, allowing Hardy to hit a DDT. Dutch is sent outside for a middle rope elbow…which breaks one of the table’s legs but not the table itself. Hardy suplexes him through the table but since it was set up before the match, it’s not a DQ. As I try to get my head around THAT logic, Vincent pops out from underneath the ring and slides a chair inside. The distraction lets Vincent shove Hardy off the top into Death Walks to give Dutch the pin at 10:15.

Rating: C. The idea here was that Hardy wanted revenge, but at the same time the stuff with the table didn’t exactly work. This feud feels like it should have ended a few times now and odds are we’re going to the Hardy Compound sooner than later. Dutch getting a win is a surprise, though it was only an ok match.

Post match Vincent sits in a chair as Dutch beats on Matt. Jeff Hardy runs in for the save, which is treated as a surprise because…well because villains in wrestling are dumb.

The Elegance Brand have Mr. Elegance show off his physique to convince Daria Rae to give him a match next week. Yeah sure. She’s rather confused as the team leaves. This could be funny, which might be due to Rae not using her terrible catchphrase.

Here is a rather upset looking Lei Ying Lee for a chat. After apologizing for her English not being great, she says she loves her friends and TNA but doesn’t know why Xia Brookside did that to her. Cue Brookside, now in a leather jacket, to say they aren’t best friends because if they were, they would have stood together at Rebellion. Lee is in tears as Brookside says she has the pressure of being a second generation star and being all alone.

Lee talks about being alone out here but then she met Brookside and tried to help her. She apologizes to Brookside and promises to be right by her side. Brookside says she made a mistake and that Lee has been by her side. She knows Lee will be champion again and they make up with a big hug. Then Brookside glares at the camera and lays her out. Perfectly fine stuff here, though Brookside as a heel might be hard to make work.

Elayna Black vs. Katie Arquette

Black knocks her down to start and then trips her onto the apron. Back in and Black knocks her into the corner, setting up the Blackout for the fast pin at 2:29. Total squash.

Mustafa Ali, with Order 4, welcomes us to the International Title summit, where a random country is selected to have a representative get a title shot. The lucky country is Australia and the challenger is….Chris Brookes! He’s thankful for the chance and calls Ali a “bloke”, which Ali doesn’t understand.

Bear Bronson is ticked off about his loss and Cedric Alexander wants Leon Slater and the X-Division Title. Eddie Edwards says the System will fix this.

TNA World Title: Rich Swann vs. Mike Santana

Santana is defending and Swann is in remarkable shape as that has never been his thing before. They shake hands to start and we’re ready to go. Santana goes after the arm to start and wrestles him down, with Swann popping up for a standoff. They go to the test of strength and head to the mat with neither being able to get the advantage.

Back up and they both miss dropkicks, followed by Swann catching Santana with a dropkick to send him into the ropes. That has Santana rethinking things and hitting a dropkick of his own. A belly to back faceplant drops Swann and Santana hits a backsplash for two. They go outside, where Santana sends him face first into the floor (ow) as we take a break. We come back with Swann hitting a running kick from the apron and putting Santana in a chair next to the barricade.

Some running kicks to the face have Santana rocked but he comes back with a superkick. They get back inside, where Swann superkicks him out of the air and goes up as well. That earns Swann a top rope superplex, though he might have countered in some way as they both stay down. Santana fights up and strikes away, setting up the Rolling Buck Fifty. The Cannonball and a sitout powerbomb give Santana two but Swann scores with a rolling clothesline.

Swann misses a middle rope 450 but connects with the handspring cutter. A super hurricanrana into a frog splash gives Swann two and they need a breather. Back up and Santana tries a sitout powerbomb but gets reversed into a Canadian Destroyer for a rather near fall. Swann hits a superkick but Santana pops up with a heck of a Spin The Block to retain at 19:06.

Rating: B+. Yeah this worked, as they beat the fire out of each other and Swann looks like he’s back after a weird few years. That’s great to see and he has clearly put in the work. At the same time, Santana continues to be the man and it’s great to see that he is feeling like the A-list star of this promotion. TNA has been needing that as even Joe Hendry felt like he was a rental before he could get to WWE. Santana doesn’t feel that way (though WWE would snatch him up as soon as they could if possible) and that’s good to see for the promotion.

Respect is shown to end the show.

Overall Rating: B-. The main event is rather good, though there was only so much worthwhile on the rest of the show. Right now there isn’t a big show set up so until we start building towards whatever is next, we’re in something of a holding pattern. Granted having that good of a main event helps, but it’s the only thing really worth your time this week.

Results
Nic Nemeth b. Bear Bronson – Danger Zone
Dutch b. Matt Hardy – Death Walks

Impact Wrestling – April 16, 2026: Hitting The Ground Running

Impact Wrestling
Date: April 16, 2026
Location: Upstate Medical University Arena At The Oncenter War Memorial, Syracuse, New York
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

We’re done with Rebellion and that means we should be in for a big time fallout. Mike Santana is still the World Champion after dispatching Eddie Edwards and the Hardys FINALLY lost the Tag Team Titles, oddly to the System. There is a lot of fallout to cover here, including a heck of a return to the ring so let’s get to it.

Here is Rebellion if you need a recap.

We open with a long Rebellion recap, covering pretty much everything.

Opening sequence.

Here is Nic Nemeth, who stumbles down the ram, to join commentary on the opening match.

KC Navarro vs. AJ Francis

The much bigger Francis shoves him down to start but it’s too early for the Down Payment. Navarro knocks him outside but a dropkick is countered into a faceplant onto the apron. Francis posts him and then fires Navarro into the corner back inside. For some reason Navarro tries an Angle Slam and is promptly LAUNCHED with an AA.

A jawbreaker and dropkick work a bit better for Navarro and he hits some running dropkicks in the corner. They go up top and a super Angle Slam actually connects to give Navarro two. Francis Pounces him though, which lets Francis yell at Nemeth. That’s enough for Nemeth to get up, which allows Navarro to grab a rollup for the pin at 7:04.

Rating: C+. Navarro is back with a quick win and that’s a good thing to see. At the same time you have Francis ticked off at Nemeth, which should work out well for both of them. It’s certainly a step up for Francis to go after a star like Nemeth, though I’m wonder what is next for Navarro as well. He’s been gone for so long and was never a singles star, though he might just be lost in the shuffle again.

EC3 talks about carrying the company through its darkest time and then leaving for a long time. Now he’s back, and has to deal with Eric Young. What a great way to start.

Here is the System, once again with Alisha Edwards, for a chat. They’re happy to have the Tag Team Titles but Eddie Edwards blames Moose for not being the World Champion. Alisha mocks Moose for being stupid (even though he knew she was doing) and Cedric Alexander wants the X-Division Title.

Cue Leon Slater, who asks when Alexander will shut up. Moose comes in to insult all of them, who he finds to be b******. Slater wants a match right now but here is Daria Rae to say no but Slater says Santino Marella would do it. That’s enough for Rae to make the 4-2 handicap match for later.

We look at Frankie Kazarian cheating to beat Elijah at Rebellion.

Elijah comes in to see Daria Rae, who wants to face Kazarian again. Rae calls Kazarian, who says no. End of discussion.

Tasha Steelz vs. Jada Stone

The rest of Order 4 is here with Steelz and Mustafa Ali brags about his win at Rebellion. He’s a champion who doesn’t need a second chance so he’s GIVING a second chance, in the form of an open challenge for his newly won International Title. Stone storms the ring and we’re ready to go. They slug it out at the bell with Stone headscissoring her into the corner. Steelz bails to the floor and manages to post Stone to take over. That means some posing from Steelz and we take a break.

We come back with Steelz suplexing her for two and grabbing a camel clutch. That doesn’t last long so Steelz stomps away in the corner instead. Stone fights up and scores with a middle rope Meteora into a split legged moonsault. Steelz is right back with a neckbreaker and a German suplex but Stone gets in a facebuster. Ali offers a distraction though and Steelz grabs a middle rope cutter for two. The referee tosses Order 4 so Stone superkicks her into the Spark Stunner for the pin at 13:17.

Rating: B-. They had a good back and forth match here and it got some time. The other good thing is you can see Stone being treated as someone who could become a star. That is something that is always welcome, as the division needs some fresh blood. I don’t know if that’s going to be Stone but at least she’s getting some attention.

We go to the Undead Realm where Rosemary finds Joseph Park. He’s looking for his brother (“You know”) Abyss but is so happy to see Rosemary that he gives her a hug. Park is going to do something for her (she seems pleased) and is off to work on it. We cut to Tessa Blanchard trying to find her way out and beating up some women before running off. To be continued.

Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro are happy with his win but the System comes in for some mocking. Nemeth is ready to fight Bear Bronson any time.

Here is Mike Santana for a chat. He’s put down every former World Champion he’s faced so now he wants to issue a challenge of his own. There is someone else back there who has turned his life around so he wants Rich Swann out here. Swann asks if this is a good idea because he’s in the best shape of his career and is ready to fight all night long. Santana says the people have spoken and he’s ready for the title match next week. It seems to be on.

Lei Ying Lee talks about falling in love with wrestling and gaining a friend in Xia Brookside. She doesn’t know why Brookside abandoned her.

Brookside has nothing to say.

EC3 vs. Eric Young

Young jumps him from behind to start fast and the brawl is on, with EC3 getting beaten up on the floor and inside. EC3 fights up and runs over Young and the referee, which is enough for the no contest at 2:31. Well that’s odd.

Post match Young wraps a chair around EC3’s neck and sends it into the post.

Back in the Undead Realm, Rosemary runs into a masked man named Frank, who is holding an ax. They have a chat about his mother and he goes on his way. Mara Sade and Allie discuss vegan options and run into a woman who teleports around them. They aren’t impressed and move on.

Tessa Blanchard finds Rosemary and wants out so the fight is on, with Blanchard beating her up and tying her to a chair. Allie and Sade come in and untie her, with Rosemary finding it funny. Allie gives chase and we cut to Blanchard and her friends escaping, as James Mitchell lets them out. The teleporting woman comes in and Mitchell introduces himself to her. Hannifan: “What the h*** is going on?”

In the arena, Blanchard, Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford crawl out from underneath the ring…but the lights go out and Rosemary and Mara Sade are here for the brawl. Sade is beaten down but Rosemary isn’t worried. The lights go out again and Allie is back to quit the reaction.

The Hardys swear vengeance on the Righteous. Brokenness is teased.

The System vs. Moose/Leon Slater

Alisha Edwards is here with the System. Slater and Alexander start things off but the numbers game lets Alexander get in a shot from behind. Moose (who played college football here) comes in for a backsplash and sends Bronson outside. Myers spears Bronson by mistake and Moose powerbombs Alexander onto the two of them. Slater busts out the big dive and Moose spears Alexander back inside.

Myers makes the save and Edwards hits a Boston Knee Party to put Moose down. Bronson sits on Moose’s chest for two and Edwards ties up his leg. Moose fights out and drops Edwards, allowing the tag off to Slater. Some running boots in the corner connect but Edwards pokes Slater in the eye. Alexander frog splashes Slater for two and Moose accidentally takes out a security guard on the floor. Back in and Alexander reverses a rollup into a Lumbar Check to pin Slater at 7:50.

Rating: B-. This was pretty much what you would have expected here, as there was no reason for Slater and Moose, as great as they are, to overcome these odds. The ending is a fine way to give Alexander another shot, as Slater is less than a month from the longest reign in history. It’s a star studded main event, which went exactly as you probably thought it would have.

Commentary gives us a recap of the night (not a bad idea) to end the show.

Overall Rating: B-. There was a lot to like here, as they set up something with Slater vs. Alexander II, plus Nic Nemeth possibly getting in on the battle against the System. Throw in the women getting out of the Undead Realm and things are looking up. I liked this show a good deal and it’s nice to see them hitting the ground running after a pay per view for a change.

Results
KC Navarro b. AJ Francis – Rollup
Jada Stone b. Tasha Steelz – Spark Stunner
EC3 vs. Eric Young went to a no contest
The System b. Moose/Leon Slater – Lumbar Check to Slater

Sacrifice 2026: What A Shame

Sacrifice 2026
Date: March 27, 2026
Location: Alario Center, Westwego, Louisiana
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

We’re back with another big show that isn’t quite a pay per view but it’s close enough. The main event certainly feels like it belongs on one of the bigger shows as Mike Santana is defending the World Title against Steve Maclin. That should be enough to carry things but we also have Moose finally getting his hands on Eddie Edwards. Let’s get to it.

Kickoff Show: Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE

Before the match, Nemeth says he wants BDE to play a real game. Like Duck Hunt. Nemeth wrestles him down to start but BDE is up with a springboard crossbody. BDE grabs his phone and records himself doing a dive before sending Nemeth outside. Nemeth gets in a running forearm to the head and sends him into the post, followed by a chinlock. BDE fights up so Nemeth takes him down for the chinlock sequel, only for BDE to fight up again. A reverse layout DDT gives BDE two, followed by the springboard cutter. The frog splash hits raised knees though and Nemeth grabs the tights for the pin at 6:26.

Rating: C. Pretty run of the mill match for BDE here, meaning it was a nice enough collection of spots before he lost to a better star. That’s just kind of what you expect here and it’s not a bad idea. Nemeth is little more than a goof and that’s a good spot for him, even if he isn’t going anywhere else.

Kickoff Show: Jody Threat vs. Tessa Blanchard

Harley Hudson, Myla Grace, Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford are here too. Threat starts fast but a suplex is broken up, allowing Blanchard to start in on her knee. Some elbows to the knee set up some cranking but Threat is back up with some running knees. The running kick to the head sets up a German suplex but the knee is banged up.

A Backstabber out of the corner gives Blanchard two but Threat is back up with a toss powerbomb. Moore puts the foot on the rope though and the seconds get in a fight on the floor. The distraction lets Moore come in with….I believe a shoe to Threat, allowing Blanchard to hit the Buzzsaw DDT for the pin at 6:20.

Rating: C. Another quick and to the point match with the villains cheating to win. That’s kind of the point, though the ending would suggest that the feud isn’t over. At the same time though, Blanchard should be on her way up the card, as she’s more than enough of a star to not be around a title.

Post match the beatdown stays on, with Threat getting choked with some cables.

And now, the show proper.

The opening video is a pretty standard look at the bigger matches on the card.

TNA Wrestling, Leon Slater, Sacrifice, Eric Young

IMG Credit: TNA Wrestling

X-Division Title: Eric Young vs. Leon Slater

Slater is defending. Young jumps Slater during the entrance and beats him down as the fight heads to ringside. Young pulls Slater’s hood off…and that’s not Slater. Instead here is Slater in the ring for a running flip and they keep brawling on the floor with Slater in control. Back in and the bell rings, with Slater’s Swanton (not the 450 version) connecting for two.

Slater knocks him into the corner and shrugs off a comeback attempt, setting up the handspring elbow for two. They go outside with Slater being sent into the steps but he comes back in with a Styles Clash attempt. That’s broken up with a bite to the leg of all things, leaving Young to hit his own Styles Clash for a near fall. What looks like it was supposed to be a wheelbarrow neckbreaker from the top winds up being more of a belly to back slam for two as Slater is in trouble.

Slater fights up with some forearms but gets dropped with a hard clothesline for two. A neckbreaker gives Young two but he can’t hit the piledriver. Slater is back up with a twisting neckbreaker for two but the Swanton 450 takes too long. Young catches him out of the corner with a Death Valley Driver for two before knocking Slater off the top.

The top rope elbow gives Young two so Slater strikes away, setting up a release Blue Thunder Bomb. Young bails out to the apron so Slater kicks him back inside. A rake to the eyes cuts Slater off though and Young piledrives him on the apron. That’s good for a very close two back inside and (the bleeding) Young can’t believe the kickout. A super piledriver is broken up though and it’s a Styles Clash into the Swanton 450 to retain the title at 15:16.

Rating: B+. Oh that was a sigh of relief as I was worried that they would try something crazy like pushing Young again. Slater continues to look like an absolute star and I can’t imagine him staying out of the World Title scene for the rest of the year. The good thing is they had a heck of a match, with Slater surviving to beat yet another former World Champion. Awesome opener.

The One Man Gang of all people is here.

We run down the rest of the card.

Mike Santana is ready to defend the World Title against Steve Maclin face to face. The title represents the sacrifices that he has made over the years, like missing with his baby girl, to get here as the World Champion. Yes he got Maclin his job back, and as payment, he’s eating Santana’s heart. Santana was fired up here and that worked, as usual.

Home Town Man/Elijah vs. Frankie Kazarian/AJ Francis

Man has quite the entrance, complete with people handing out beads. Elijah works on Kazarian’s arm to start and it’s off to Man for a string of right hands. A middle rope ax handle to the ribs has Kazarian in more trouble and everything breaks down, with the good guys hitting stereo Old Schools. Elijah hits a big running dive to the floor but Francis trips Man down, setting up the Flux Capacitor from Kazarian.

A stomp to the hand has Man down again but he fights out of the corner, allowing the tag back to Elijah to clean house. Kazarian is kicked out of the corner and Francis is sent into it, setting up a spinning electric chair powerbomb to give Elijah two. The rope walk Canadian Destroyer is blocked though and Francis plants Elijah for two more. Francis goes to get the guitar but Elijah takes it away, with Kazarian taking it away from him. Kazarian breaks the guitar on the floor and it’s Down Payment to the Man. Francis is cut off and Fade To Black finishes Man at 11:18.

Rating: C+. Perfectly fine midcard tag match here, with Francis getting to do something different than be his usual bullying self. It was a nice way to mix a pair of feuds into one match and the results were good enough. None of them have a hot feud going at the moment so this is as good of an idea as they had.

The System is ready for Jeff Hardy and Vincent.

Here are Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva for a chat. Dreamer talks about his history in this city and everything that it means to him to be here. He wants to bring out someone who is an inspiration to this company, which brings out Chris Bey. That’s quite the nice moment, with Bey talking about the success he has had and the future of this place. With that, he brings out the newest signee: Ricky Sosa, who debuted a few weeks ago. Sosa is happy to be here tonight and this is the moment he’s been working towards for five years. He hits his catchphrases and signs.

We look back at Tessa Blanchard cheating to win on the Kickoff show.

After the match, Mila Moore followed the white rabbit when Havok popped up behind her. Screaming ensued and this is To Be Continued.

TNA Wrestling, Sacrifice, Arianna Grace, Xia Brookside, Stacks, Lei Ying Lee, Dani Luna

IMG Credit: TNA Wrestling

Women’s Title: Arianna Grace vs. Lei Ying Lee vs. Dani Luna

Grace, with Stacks, is defending, Lee (with Xia Brookside) is the former champion and Luna never got a title shot she earned. Luna jumps Lee during the Big Match Intros and Grace tries a quick rollup, which has Luna even angrier. Grace is sent to the floor so Lee dropkicks Luna into the corner. Stacks’ interference doesn’t work and Luna is knocked down on the floor.

Back in and Lee kicks away at Grace but Luna suplexes both of them. Stacks low bridges Luna out to the floor though, with Grace getting two on Lee as Luna dives in for the save. A big boot gives Luna two on Lee but she catches another boot, only for Grace to come back in with a cravate. Grace fisherman’s neckbreakers Luna for two but Lee is back with the Warrior’s Way. Luna makes another save though and everyone is down. Lee Thunderstrucks Grace to the floor but gets caught with a Blue Thunder Bomb for two.

Luna loads Grace up with a super Samoan drop, drawing Stacks up for a distraction. Lee comes back in and German superplexes both of them for two each. Stacks saves Grace from the Warrior’s Way so Brookside cuts him off. Lee dives onto Stacks and Grace before heading back inside for the showdown with Luna. They slug it out until Lee kicks her in the head. Warrior’s Way connects but Stacks breaks it up, allowing Grace to steal the retaining pin at 13:43.

Rating: B-. That’s about the ending I was expecting and that’s not a terrible thing. Ultimately, Grace stealing the pin against what felt like insurmountable odds was a good way to go as there is a long line of people coming after the title. I’m curious to see who comes after the title next, but Grace as the annoying, beatable champion isn’t a bad way to go for her.

Allie gets Mara Sade to follow the White Rabbit until she meets Rosemary. Sade wants her to make Michael B. Jordan appear but is told to let the man have his privacy. Rosemary isn’t about to stab her or send her to something like Wrestle House is she? Rosemary: “RD Evans is rolling over in his grave.” They’ll have a talk after Sade’s match. Again, To Be Continued.

Order 4 vs. Trey Miguel/Jada Stone

Mustafa Ali/Tasha Steelz for Order 4 here. Miguel and Ali start things off with Ali working on the arm. They trade some flips for an early standoff and it’s off to the women. Stone snaps off a quick headscissors to take Steelz down but the men have to break up a brawl. Ali seems impressed with Steelz and we settle down to Ali vs. Stone. This has Ali laughing as he grabs a lockup and swings her around with ease.

Stone is back up with a heck of a DDT to plant Ali, followed by a super hurricanrana to send a bewildered Ali outside. The Great Hands break up a dive so Miguel takes them down with a step up flip dive. Steelz is back up to feed Stone into a hanging DDT onto the floor and the villains take Stone into the corner. Stone fights out though and brings Miguel back in to clean house. Miguel rolls the dice on Ali so it’s back to Steelz to slap him in the face.

Ali kicks Stone down by mistake but Miguel avoids a charge into the corner. Dance With The Devil drops Miguel again so Steelz drops a frog splash for two. Back up and Ali pulls Miguel into a cutter off the top, only for Miguel to come back with a top rope Meteora. Stone comes back in to pick up the pace with a split legged moonsault getting two on Steelz.

Stone’s tornado DDT plants Ali and a Canadian Destroyer sends Ali crashing out to the floor. Ali gets planted again and a corkscrew moonsault gives Stone two. With nothing else working, the Great Hands zip tie Miguel to the ropes so Dancing With The Devil can plant Stone. Ali pulls her up at two and the 450 finishes for Ali at 15:15.

Rating: B-. The idea here was to push Stone as a star but I was having a bit of an issue suspending my disbelief that she was regularly beating up someone of Ali’s size and success. It might work every once in awhile but it was going too long here. That’s especially the case with Ali getting a title shot at Miguel in just over two weeks. It wasn’t a bad match at all and the action was good, but it went too long and that hurt things.

Arianna Grace and Stacks laugh at Lei Ying Lee, with Xia Brookside defending her friend. They argue over their fathers so Santino Marella comes in to make a title match for Impact. Stacks calls Marella a terrible father.

We recap Moose vs. Eddie Edwards. Moose started the System but then got thrown out, prompting him to go after each member of the team. Edwards is the final one to go.

Moose vs. Eddie Edwards

Alisha Edwards is here too and Eddie yells at her before we get started. Alisha takes the kendo stick away from him before the bell so Moose kicks Eddie down. Cue Order 4’s Special Agent Zero to jump Moose for the DQ at 30 seconds. Apparently this is a result of a meeting between Order 4 and the System on the Kickoff Show.

Post match the big beatdown is on, with Alisha yelling at Eddie and Zero.

Mara Sade vs. Elayna Black

No DQ. Sade brings a bedazzled bat with her but Black takes it away to jump start things. They fight to the floor with Sade taking over but Black gets in a kendo stick shot. Black grabs a stop sign, which is kicked into her face. Black winds up crawling underneath the ring but comes back with a chair shot to take over. A stomp gives Black two and it’s already time for a table.

And never mind as Black sends it back underneath the table rather than let the fans be happy. Sade gets up and grabs the bat to swing away but Black enziguris her back down. Black gets a bag of thumbtacks but the Blackout is countered, with Sade sending her into the tacks instead. A slam plants Black onto the tacks and Sade’s moonsault finishes at 9:28.

Rating: C. This didn’t do much for me, as not only was the thumbtacks spot not something I needed to see, but the whole thing didn’t feel like it needed the No DQ at thing. At the same time, I’m not seeing much of the upside in Black. She’s not the worst, but she doesn’t feel like the most natural in the ring. Maybe this just wasn’t their stipulation, as it really didn’t click.

We talk about the World Title match.

We recap Jeff Hardy/Vincent vs. the System. The System are the #1 contenders and took out Matt Hardy so Jeff is out for revenge, with the Righteous’ Vincent stepping up as a replacement partner.

TNA Wrestling, Sacrifice, Jeff Hardy, Vincent, System, Cedric Alexander, Brian Myers

IMG Credit: TNA Wrestling

The System vs. Vincent/Jeff Hardy

It’s Cedric Alexander/Brian Myers for the System here. Hardy and Myers start things off and everything breaks down in a hurry, with the System being cleared out. Back in and Myers takes Vincent into the corner, with the villains getting to take over. Alexander comes in and knocks Vincent into another corner for the chops and it’s back to Myers. A Russian legsweep gets Vincent out of trouble though and it’s back to Hardy to clean house.

An elbow gives Hardy two but Alexander is back up with a Michinoku Driver for two. Everything breaks down and Alexander gets Twisting Stunnered into a spinning DDT to give Vincent two. Another Twisting Stunner connects and Hardy goes up but we see a rather bloody Matt Hardy on the Titantron. Dutch is standing over him and seems rather pleased, leaving the distracted Jeff to get hit by the Roster Cut. The Lumbar Check gives Alexander the pin at 8:42.

Rating: B-. This was a means to an end more than anything else, as I don’t think it was any secret that the Righteous were going to turn on the Hardys at some point. The question was much more “when” than anything else and the answer was apparently here, which isn’t a bad thing. This sets up their big showdown, though the System is likely to get a title shot first.

We run down some upcoming cards.

Here is the Elegance Brand (minus Ash, who is still recovering after being called a mark) to threaten ODB to not show up again, as she needs to stay in her dirty food truck. Cue ODB, who thinks a little two on one sounds fun tonight, but she’s a married woman now. She has a lot of friends wherever she goes though, like New Orleans’ own Taryn Terrell, who doesn’t like all the garbage these b****** have been saying. So let’s have them say it to her face.

Mr. Elegance threatens to beat up ODB so ODB brings out Mickie James to even things up. Mr. Elegance tries to cut her off but James calls him “Pickle Dick”, which apparently isn’t kosher. The brawl is on and Mr. Elegance gets beaten up rather painfully. This went on for a long time and we’ve covered the “Knockouts legends beat up the Elegance Brand” deal.

Santino Marella and Daria Rae argue over the main event, with Rae not liking Marella picking sides.

We recap Steve Maclin vs. Mike Santana for the latter’s World Title. Maclin lost his job via Feast Or Fired but he attacked Santana, which got him his job back as Santana wanted revenge.

TNA Wrestling, Sacrifice, Eddie Edwards, Mike Santana, Steve Maclin

IMG Credit: TNA Wrestling

TNA World Title: Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin

Santana is defending. They take their time to start and Santana works on a headlock. That’s broken up so Santana kicks him down with the fans rather approving of the champion. Hold on though as something happens and we need the medical staff to check on Maclin. Santana plays to the crowd a bit as Maclin stands up but then drops back down to a knee. Cue Eddie Edwards in street clothes to go after Santana as Maclin is taken out. I think we can call the Maclin match off, as they only had about a minute and a half of action before the injury.

Santana fights back and loads up a table before dropping Edwards with Spin The Block. A top rope splash puts Edwards through the table on the floor and Santana is declared the winner by no contest. I don’t believe Edwards’ portion was him cashing in his title shot as that was little more than a brawl. There was no bell for them either. I’m guessing that was a legitimate injury from Maclin as the show ends with Santana celebrating. Dang I hope it’s not serious.

Overall Rating: C. The show was just decent enough to get by, but DANG that was some horrible luck at the end. I won’t hold it against them as they took care of someone who was hurt, but it could not have come at a worse time. The opener was very good, though unfortunately that was about it. The Moose vs. Edwards match was an angle advancer and the Elegance Brand stuff was just long.

It’s not a bad show, but it’s pretty much totally uneventful and felt designed to set up Rebellion more than anything else. Hopefully Maclin is ok though, as that was a nasty looking superkick that took him out. It’s a terrible ending, but that part isn’t TNA’s fault. The rest of the show not being very interesting certainly was though and that’s a rough way to go.

Impact Wrestling – March 26, 2026: Something About The Show Being Before Sacrifice

Impact Wrestling
Date: March 26, 2026
Location: Gateway Center Arena At College Park, College Park, Georgia
Commentators: Tom Hannifan, Matthew Rehwoldt

It’s the night before Sacrifice and the show is pretty much set. In this case though, we’re likely going to hear more from Mike Santana and Steve Maclin, who are set for a World Title match tomorrow night. Other than that, there is probably a chance that more will be added to the show so let’s get to it.

Here are last week’s results if you need a recap.

Opening recap.

Opening sequence.

Mustafa Ali vs. BDE

Order 4 and Rich Swann are here too. Ali takes him into the corner for an uppercut to start but BDE comes back with a crucifix bomb to send Ali outside. The required dive connects and they head back inside, where Ali takes him down by the leg. They slug it out until BDE hits a running boot into a handspring cutter, followed by a top rope frog splash for two. Back up and Ali hits a quick sitout powerbomb, setting up a swinging Downward Spiral for the pin at 4:26.

Rating: C+. BDE continues to fulfill his role perfectly well as he can do spots just fine and then puts people over every time. I’m sure he’ll win a singles match somewhere in there and that’ll be fine, but for now this is working well for him. Ali gets a win, though I have no reason to believe he’s going to be getting much higher up the ladder.

Post match Order 4 jumps Swann but Trey Miguel runs in for the save. Jada Stone comes in to take out Tasha Steelz and Miguel saves her from Agent Zero.

Leon Slater and Mike Santana are ready to face the System tonight. They’re ready to keep their titles tomorrow night too. Daria Rae comes up to threaten Santana with losing the title if he touches Steve Maclin.

Jeff Hardy vs. Brian Myers

Matt Hardy and the System are here too. Jeff slugs away in the corner but Myers pulls him off the middle rope for a crash. An elbow to the face sets up a chinlock but Hardy is right back up. The basement dropkick hits Myers, who reverses the Twist Of Fate into an implant DDT for two. The Roster Cut is blocked though and the twisting Stunner sets up a Swanton to beat Myers at 3:15.

Rating: C. They were moving rather quickly here and Hardy winning is fine, though it didn’t exactly make me think the System is going to be a threat to win the titles. Then again no one has felt like a real threat to win the titles for months. This could have been better with more time, but it felt more like a way to get Hardy in the ring than anything else.

Post match the System jumps the Hardys until the Righteous makes the save. Bear Bronson is left in the ring…and here is Moose for their schedule match.

Moose vs. Bear Bronson

Alisha Edwards is here with Moose. Bronson hits a running shot against the ropes but Moose is back up with a dropkick. Back up and Bronson hammers away in the corner, where Moose is right back with some rapid fire chops. They head outside, with Moose being sent into the barricade and then go back inside, where Bronson snaps off a suplex. Moose doesn’t like being inside and goes outside again, with Bronson being sent into the steps. Bronson snaps off another suplex and we take a break.

We come back with Bronson superplexing Moose, who pops up and runs Bronson over. The running backsplash connects but the spear is countered into a pop up sitout powerbomb to give Bronson two. A swinging Boss Man Slam gives Bronson two more and they trade standing clotheslines. Cue the System again…so some former Atlanta Falcons (Moose’s former teammates) come over the barricade to cut them off. Moose hits the spear for the pin at 13:08.

Rating: B. I liked this more than I was expecting as Bronson has been a nice addition to the roster as a power guy. At the same time, Bronson was nothing more than the next person in line for Moose to smash through on his way to Sacrifice. It still doesn’t feel like it’s going to end well there for him, but this wound up being good stuff, with the Falcons deal being a nice bonus.

Mara Sade is ready for Sacrifice but gets a note saying READ ME. The note says “follow the White Rabbit” and then a bloody rabbit walks by. Sade follows and someone follows her (I think, as it was hard to see who was whom).

The System is ready to take out Moose and the Hardys. Eddie Edwards is sad to see Alisha Edwards getting dropped as well but she’s made her choice. The Righteous is watching as well.

Tessa Blanchard/Mila Moore/Victoria Crawford vs. Harley Hudson/Myla Grace/Jody Threat

Threat and Blanchard start things off but Moore comes in to face Hudson instead. Moore grinds away on a headlock but Hudson is back with a running crossbody for two. Grace comes in for a headlock before striking away at Crawford. Blanchard gets in a cheap shot from the apron but it’s off to Threat to pick up the pace. House is quickly cleaned and the villains are taken down with some dives on the floor. Blanchard drops Threat onto the steps though and a quick Buzzsaw finishes Grace at 6:20.

Rating: C+. They were moving rather quickly out there and Blanchard took the other team apart to get the win. That makes perfect sense as she’s pretty far ahead of the other three, especially Hudson and Grace. The match was pretty to the point here, even if they didn’t have much time with the amount of people involved.

WRATH! Rosemary goes up to see a man in a mask, who winds up being Crazzy Steve, with Allie popping up behind her. Rosemary shuts her up and Steve goes on a rant about how everyone has thrown him aside to rot. Now Rosemary is here to get something from him and she is ready to pay the price. She kisses Steve on the head and TO BE CONTINUED. Do we know what she is trying to get out of this whole thing?

Eric Young vs. Brad Attitude

Young jumps him before the bell and chokes with his jacket. Attitude is sent outside and Young stays on him, but stops to yell at the referee. The Death Valley Driver gives Young two and he chases the referee, allowing Attitude to hit a dive. Back in and Young crotches him on top, setting up the piledriver for the pin at 3:53.

Rating: C-. This was just a way to get Young ready for his X-Division Title shot tomorrow and that’s about it. It was little more than a squash and that’s all it needed to be. Hopefully Young loses tomorrow and they get on with whatever his Cleanse thing is, which is totally coming one way or another.

Matt Hardy has been attacked and apparently it was the System. The Righteous are ready to get revenge.

Here is Buff Bagwell for a surprise chat. He thanks God for being with him through the loss of his leg, but he also needs to apologize for his behavior over the last twenty years (ignore his issues before 2006). Bagwell wants to walk down the aisle and wrestle one more time but here is Frankie Kazarian to say Bagwell isn’t walking anywhere. Hop maybe, but not walk. Kazarian mocks him some more but here is Elijah to chase him off. Elijah wants to be there when Bagwell walks that aisle again.

Santino Marella reveals that Matt Hardy is injured and unable to compete so the Righteous come in to get a match with Vincent/Jeff Hardy vs. the System at Sacrifice.

Dani Luna is ready to finally win the Knockouts Title at Sacrifice, when it is going to be doomsday.

Sacrifice rundown.

The System vs. Leon Slater/Mike Santana

Eddie Edwards/Cedric Alexander for the System here and the rest of the team is here too. Slater hammers on Alexander to start and it’s off to Edwards vs. Santana. The System is quickly cleared out and Slater hits a big dive. We take a break and come back with Myers offering a distraction so Edwards can get in a cheap shot.

Slater gets caught in the wrong corner and Alexander’s knee drop gets two. Back up and Slater hits a spinwheel kick, allowing the tag off to Santana for the fast comeback. A double flipping slam sets up a step up moonsault to give Santana two. Edwards avoids Spin The Block and hits the Backpack Stunner, with Alexander’s frog splash getting two.

Everything breaks down and the Boston Knee party misses, allowing Santana to hit a Death Valley Driver. Santana’s big running flip dive connects on the floor but here is Steve Maclin to choke Slater. Maclin stops to glare Santana though and Slater hits a superkick. Back in and the Boston Knee Party finishes for Edwards at 13:58.

Rating: B-. This was what it needed to be as Edwards gets the win to make him feel like more of a threat to take the title at some point. It also helped Maclin and Santana get ready for their match, which is a good thing to see as they can’t actually get physical. The action worked well and it accomplished a few things so that makes for a nice main event.

Overall Rating: C+. The best thing about this show is they made me more interested in seeing Sacrifice, which is feeling like a much bigger show than No Surrender. If nothing else, the main event is already feeling bigger. Hopefully it lives up to the hype as we move into the spring and get ready for the next regular pay per view. For now though, I’m interested enough in the show, though there were some less than thrilling parts here, like anything involving Eric Young and the Rosemary stuff, though the latter might need some more time. Either way, nice enough show this week with the big one coming tomorrow.
