It’s time for the biggest AEW show of the year and the biggest they have ever held in America. The main event very well may change the course of AEW, as Hangman Page is trying to end the reign of terror from Jon Moxley. Other than that, we have the usual variety of title matches, with all kinds of things already set for the show. Let’s get to it.

Zero Hour: FTR vs. Outrunners

We saw this earlier in the month on Collision and now it’s time to do it again rather quickly. The idea was that the Outrunners got close to beating FTR but couldn’t quite get there and they want to run it back to try again. That should make for a good match, but at some point the Outrunners need to actually win something or those reactions are going to start getting weaker in a hurry.

That being said, outside of some interference or shenanigans, I can’t imagine FTR losing here, so we’ll go with the Outrunners taking another defeat. At the end of the day, FTR seems primed to go after the Tag Team Titles again sooner or later and that isn’t going to happen if they lose a match to a glorified comedy team. FTR goes over here, likely with some cheating after a tough match.

Zero Hour: Big Boom AJ/Hologram/Kyle O’Reilly/Tomohiro Ishii vs. Don Callis Family

Here we have another match where the result doesn’t seem overly likely to be in double. The Costco Guys are fine as the celebrity involvement and it works well to see them in the ring like this. At the same time, you have Hologram, who doesn’t lose, which takes away even the tiniest bit of drama this match might have had. That’s not something you like to see, but at least it’s on the Kickoff show.

Of course I’m taking the thrown together team to win here, likely with Trent Beretta or Rocky Romero taking the fall. This is probably the easiest match to call all night as there is no reason to believe that the Callis B Team (because they have enough members to have a B Team) has a chance. The match should be fun, as long as I don’t have to put up with too much of the Rizzler.

Zero Hour: Sons Of Texas/Von Erichs vs. Shane Taylor Promotions

Yeah there is it. For those keeping track, Dustin Rhodes and the Von Erichs have now had the titles for 350 days, with their most recent title defense taking place back in April. Prior to that, their previous title defense was the day after they won the belts in the first place. They’re on the same team here with an extra name being added, but for some reason they can’t have a token title defense here just to get the belts on the line.

Since the show is in Texas, naturally I’ll take the Texans to win here, as Shane Taylor Promotions were just being hyped up as ready to start doing something again. Therefore, it’s time for them to lose again, likely to the “popular” team. I’m sure the fans will likely them well enough, but we’re very possibly coming up on Rhodes setting the record for longest individual reigns with two titles. I have no idea why, but apparently being from Texas is enough.

TNT Title: Adam Cole(c) vs. Kyle Fletcher

It’s a nice feeling when there really isn’t a choice for the weakest match to start the main card. Cole has been presented as a big deal with the title, but Fletcher is looking for a big win. That is the kind of thing that makes for a major moment, as they’re making for an important collision. Cole and the Paragon have been fighting the Don Callis Family, but this might be where things fall apart.

I’ll take Fletcher to win the title here, as it feels like they are on the way towards doing something a lot bigger with him. At some point he needs to validate that with something more than just the ROH TV Title. Beating Cole would feel like an important moment, especially at the biggest show of the year. Let him win and see where he can go from here, while also giving Callis something to brag about for the team.

Tag Team Titles: Hurt Syndicate(c) vs. Jet Speed vs. The Patriarchy

Sweet goodness it is amazing how much adding the Patriarchy has helped this match. The Syndicate is so much ahead of just about every other team in AEW so they’re going to need some special odds to give them a real threat. This is about as good of an idea as they have to make it work, which seems to be going well. I’m not sure if that means it’s going to mean a title change, but at least there is some more intrigue.

That being said, I’ll take the champs to retain here, as it’s hard to imagine them losing to anyone, even with the odds being against them. Bobby Lashley having a bad knee still isn’t enough to make me think that Jet Speed could beat anyone and I can’t quite picture the Patriarchy winning either. The Hurt Syndicate gets to use the size and power to win here, which they should be doing again.

Trios Titles: Opps(c) vs. Death Riders

This is the logical way to go for a title match, as the Death Riders, albeit in a different form, are former champions. I do like what they’ve done with the Opps, as seeing Powerhouse Hobbs getting at least something to do should have taken place a LONG time ago. It’s more interesting than Hook would have been in the role, which is a nice upgrade to see. This is going to be a different kind of fight though and I’m not sure how this is going to go.

As much of a possibility as a title change might be, I think I’ll take the Opps to retain here. Joe getting to smash through people is always worth seeing and while I can imagine AEW wanting to push Gabe Kidd, there are better ways to do that than by throwing him into a trio to win some belts. Hopefully this is a hard hitting fight, and that’s the best way for the whole thing to go, likely with the Opps retaining.

Men’s Casino Gauntlet

And now we get to the confusing stuff, as it’s really hard to predict a match where you don’t know who is involved. There are a few interesting options out there already and unfortunately that’s about all we can go on here. Mark Briscoe and MJF are going to be starting the match, which in a way is the best spot to have as while you’ll be out there longer, the match being able to end at any time can make things all the more interesting.

Based only on the six names that we have, I’ll actually go with Ricochet stealing the win here. Ricochet is the kind of guy who could get a lot out of having a title shot hanging over someone’s head and that’s what it should be. MJF is always an option to win here, but other than that, it’s hard to guess with so few names officially announced. Ricochet stands out over what we have though and that has me interested enough.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet

So remember what I said about the issues with the men’s version of this match? Well this one is even worse, as there are even fewer names advertised. I have almost no idea who to go with here as it’s basically “pick one of the two names announced (Kris Statlander or Megan Bayne) or the mystery field. That’s a really hard pick to make, so this is the shot in the dark match of the night.

I’ll go with Bayne here, though again it’s a match where we know two entrants out of whatever number we’ll wind up with here. Bayne getting to smash through everyone in front of her is a good idea as she has already wrecked the midcard in recent weeks. Let her get back into the title scene and see where she can go, as there is a chance to see her get into the title scene very quickly.

Swerve Strickland/Will Ospreay vs. Young Bucks

This is the stipulation match of the night, as the Bucks are putting up their Executive Vice Presidencies against Ospreay and Strickland being able to challenge for the World Title for a year. Earlier this week, it seemed that Strickland Ospreay were on enough of the same page to give the Bucks a run for their money, but there is no guarantee that will be enough to put them over the most successful team AEW has ever had.

Unfortunately we’re at a coin flip here, as I could see AEW going either way. I’ll take….Ospreay and Strickland winning here, though it’s the kind of a pick where I have no reason to believe I’m right. The Bucks have been built up to the point of getting to lose something big and this is about as huge as they can get. Just let them finally give something up while also keeping your main event scene intact. I’m not convinced that’s how it’s going to go, but it’s the right way to go.

Continental Title/International Title: Kazuchika Okada(c) vs. Kenny Omega(c)

They were so close. The term “winner take all” was giving me hope that they were going to get rid of one of the titles they had running around but alas no, as Tony Khan has confirmed that not only will the titles stay separate, but the Continental Classic will reset the Continental Title in a few months. That’s not the way I was hoping for things to go, but it’s quite the AEW way of doing things.

Omega makes more sense here, as Okada needs to lose a big match at some point, with a loss to Omega making the most sense. The big appeal here is flashing back to what these two did about seven or eight years ago, which is a risky move to make given how they have been going lately. I can imagine that the two of them are going to work as hard as they can and the match should be rather exciting, but the title situation takes away a lot of the spark I had coming into this one.

Women’s Title: Toni Storm(c) vs. Mercedes Mone

The more I think about this, the more I’m thinking I want Mone to win. I don’t care about what Mone has done in AEW and I still find her fairly uninteresting, but there is something glorious about the idea of “and then she beats everyone and wins all of the titles”. That’s how I played No Mercy back in the day and getting to see it on a national stage could be hilarious in a way.

I’ll take Mone to win here, as her thing is “she wins all the time”. Storm has been champion for a long time (combined) now and while she needs something new to do, I have a bad feeling that the something is chasing Mone for a bit before moving on to something else. Mone losing is something that needs to happen, but I’m thinking AEW is going to ride the Mone train until….I have no idea really.

AEW World Title: Jon Moxley(c) vs. Hangman Page

This is a Texas death match and I have no idea where it’s going. Moxley should have lost the title about five months ago but it feels like AEW is building towards some big moment with him. There should be no bigger moment than this show, but at the same time, it feels like we are coming up on Darby Allin being the one to take the title. There is always the chance that Swerve Strickland could cost Page here, or someone else could run in (my money would be on Jack Perry) to screw him over.

That being said, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Page wins the title. I’m almost perversely hoping that I’m wrong just to be able to laugh at AEW, but to say it is time is an understatement. Page has been set up to win this title and there is no reason to stick with Moxley. I’m completely believing that I could be wrong here, but Page needs to get the title and send the fans home happy.

Overall Thoughts

This is the day that AEW has been building towards for a long time now and it’s time to knock it out of Globe Life Park. The previous editions of All In have gone well before and hopefully they can do it again here. AEW’s history with pay per views gives me hope with this one, but dang they need to wrap it up with the Death Riders/Young Bucks already. If they don’t do that, or at least one of those two things, I don’t know where they’re supposed to go next. Get it right.

Preview over.

We’ve arrived at one of the biggest shows of the year and for once I’m excited.  The card is STACKED and the feuds have all been well built.  Let’s get to it.We’ll start with the pre-show.  I’ll take the Shield to retain.  I’m a fan of the Usos but come on.  It’s been two months since Shield won the belts and they’re not about to lose them to a team who was release fodder for the majority of last year.

Cena to retain of course.  This is the WWE’s bread and butter: take a superhero and put him against a big old monster, enjoy the crowd reactions.  Well in most cities but you get the idea.  Cena wins here and I don’t think there’s a cash-in yet.

Del Rio keeps his belt but it likely sets up another match in this feud.  Ziggler is popular and will be a god in Philadelphia, but WWE seems obsessed with keeping the title on Del Rio for some reason.  The match should be good but I have zero interest in Del Rio whatsoever.

In the surprise of the show, AJ keeps the belt via interference from Layla.  It’s not a surprise that AJ wins, but that I actually care about the match.  They’ve done a great job at actually setting up the feud and giving us a reason to care about Kaitlyn getting her revenge on the evil AJ.  Those INSANE spears that AJ sells so well help a lot too.  This should be entertaining though, which I can’t believe I’m saying.

Axel beats Miz.  I don’t think this needs an explanation.

Ryback over Jericho.  Ryback hasn’t won a PPV match since last year’s MITB, yet WWE still wonders why no one is interested in him.  It appears that Ryback is going to hook up with Vickie which might make people care about him a little bit so at least he has some hope.  The match should be good and there’s no need for Jericho to win.  This is a classic case of putting two guys in a match because they have nothing else to do and there’s nothing wrong with that thinking at all.

Now for the important matches.

I’ll go with the seemingly obvious choice and say Bryan wins the Raw MITB match.  RVD will be RVD, Sheamus and Orton would seem to cancel each other out, Christian just isn’t winning this match, and Punk will likely be taken out by Brock or Heyman to set up the Summerslam match.  There are rumors that Bray Wyatt will be replacing Kane but for the life of me I can’t see that happening.

That leaves us with the BIG wildcard of the show: the Smackdown MITB match.  However we do have a major clue: Ambrose hasn’t interacted with the other participants for the majority of the buildup, and in WWE terms that’s the cue for him to win.  Looking at the other contestants, we can immediately eliminate the Scholars for obvious reasons.  Fandango simply isn’t ready and has cooled WAY down since his concussion.  The Real Americans intrigue me but I could only put Cesaro at a distant second best option.  Barrett is interesting as well as WWE has been ready to pull the trigger on him for years now and it’s normal for them to job a guy to death before giving him something like MITB.  That leaves Ambrose which would be the right move.

Overall MITB looks very good for the most part.  There isn’t a match I’m not interested in other than the IC Title, the crowd is going to be white hot all night and the ladder matches are always entertaining.  WWE has turned it way up in the last few weeks and the shows have been the most fun they’ve been all year.  This should be a solid way to keep the summer rolling before we get to the important stuff at Summerslam.

Thoughts/predictions?

This is an interesting show in that the card looks good on paper but when you think about how things have been built up it’s hard to care at all about it.  The shows leading up to it have been dominated by HHH vs. Vince vs. Axel with Axel being a pawn in the entire thing.  A challenge to you: explain in two coherent sentences what the Vince vs. HHH feud is about.  If it takes you more than ten seconds, it’s too complicated a story.  As for the rest of the show, it really pales in comparison other than the Shield stuff.  Let’s get to it.Sheamus will beat Damien Sandow because that’s what he does.  Nothing else to say.

Starting with the main event, I’ll go with Cena over Ryback.  This match is designed to have Cena go over a monster and look strong in the process.  The fact taht Ryback will have lost for the tenth straight month of PPVs in a row is an afterthought but Ryback means nothing anyway.  Cena wins the first fall, Ryback wins the second, Cena wins the third.  There’s nothing much to the match but it should be a fun garbage brawl.

Punk returns for the win to a big reaction from the hometown fans.  The interesting questions here are whether Punk shows up as well as what reaction Jericho will get.  Punk will clearly be the top star there, but can you imagine a bunch of smarks booing Chris Jericho?  The match should be awesome and Punk coming back is a big deal so this should be good.

I’ll take Shield to keep all of their titles with Orton taking the fall for the challengers.  Bryan is on fire but a tag title would be back to what he’s been doing for the better part of a year.  Kane will be a good first victim for Ambrose in his title reign.  The matches should be good and they’ve been well built up over the last few months.

Axel to win the title, which will be yet another death knell in his WWE run.  Miz continues to be nothing special in his face role, although I am glad to see the Skull Crushing Finale making a comeback.

AJ wins the title she should have won six months ago.

Ziggler retains the title as well to finally finish Del Rio.

Overall Payback should be entertaining but the numbers are going to SUCK.  No one is interested in the show because the world title has been a complete afterthought, making Punk vs. Jericho the default main event.  I don’t think anyone gives Ryback a chance but he has been doing better with his promos lately.

Dang it’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these.We’ll start with the pre-show match.  There’s almost no way that Miz loses here due to one reason: Cody Rhodes doesn’t win matches.  Seriously that’s all there is to it.

Cena to retain the title, but the feud continues next month.  It’s one of Cena’s signature matches and this should be a good brawl, but Cena keeps the belt.  This feud has been built up pretty horribly as Ryback has stopped doing everything that got him over in the first place.  Yeah he’s a heel now, but we can’t have him run over people as a heel.  That might make him interesting and seem like he’s someone that is a serious threat to Cena.  Lesnar tried that last year and he got stuck in the feud with HHH.

Del Rio over Swagger as we’re not going to see a heel vs. heel title match.  The fact that we’ve seen Del Rio make Swagger tap about five times now doesn’t help either.

The cage match is probably the hardest one to pick.  On one hand, HHH winning makes sense as the hero is supposed to beat the monster in the end.  On the other hand, it’s Brock Lesnar in a cage.  I know HHH has a huge ego, but I don’t think they’re going to let him beat Lesnar in a match like this.  The ads for the show have built it up as winning by escape, which makes me think it’s like Snuka vs. Muraco back in 83: HHH gets destroyed but Lesnar does something stupid and HHH escapes.  That would make Lesnar look stupid and incompetent, so it sounds perfect.

In what sounds like the best match of the night, I’ll flip a coin and say Sheamus beats Henry, only to be destroyed post match.  These two know how to work a hard fought match together and the straps will make things better.  They’re pushing the idea of Henry being strong enough to move anything so there’s already a decent story there.  This is using the old theory of taking two big guys and having them beat on each other for ten minutes.  There’s nothing wrong with that and this should be rather entertaining.

As for Big Show vs. Orton, I’ll take Big Show in a gut instinct.  Orton can lose time after time and keep his crowd reaction, so we can have Big Show win here and set up a rematch later on.  Big Show wins here in another entertaining match.

I think Jericho gets his win back over Fandango here as there’s really nowhere else to go for the feud.  Fandango would be a good candidate to go after the US Title had it not been for Ambrose getting the shot.  Then again Fandango was at the top of his game about four weeks ago when they should have pulled the trigger, but this is WWE so instead they turned a quick mainstream fad into something corporate and killed it faster than a vampire at the beach.  Jericho wins here but Fandango can easily bounce back.

Speaking of the Shield, it’s their night and they all come out with gold here.  Ambrose is seemingly getting the rocket push and the US Title is a great place to start.  As for the tag belts, they’re so far overdue for a change that their engines are about to explode.  Shield should win all three belts, if nothing else to make those titles main event belts.  Shield vs. HELL NO in rematches could easily headline a house show.

Overall, the show looks pretty good other than the top two matches.  This card is very indicative of the problems with WWE in general at the moment: the HHH vs. Lesnar feud is dragging everything else down and Ryback isn’t helping anything either.  It also shows the problem with having gimmick matches to start a feud: there’s no need for Cena vs. Ryback to start a feud with a last man standing match.  That’s the kind of a match that ends a feud, not gets it going.  The rest of the show should be entertaining and fun though, as the talent pool is as deep as it’s been in years in today’s WWE.

Thoughts/predictions?

This is quite the debut match.Fandango is Johnny Curtis in another new gimmick as a dancer (I’ll give them this: they’re repackaging him over and over until he finds something that works.  It’s VERY refreshing to see someone getting a new gimmick for a change instead of the same failing gimmick pounded into the ground.  Look at someone like Chris Masters.  There’s obviously talent there but WWE wouldn’t let him have anything but “he’s muscular and strong”.  A gimmick change can do wonders for a guy) who won’t wrestle until someone pronounces his name right.  Jericho, ever the smart aleck, mispronounced his name over and over, finally making Fandango snap.

This is a match which could go either way.  If the Fandango character is deemed a failure, Jericho goes over.  However, Jericho is the undisputed king of the jobbers and is willing to put over anyone on two legs at a moment’s notice.  It’s not like Jericho’s character is going to lose his status with a loss here either as he’s firmly in the legend status where he could lose every week for a year and still be at the same level.  The build for this has been pretty solid with Fandango being so over the top that he’s very entertaining.  The problem for him is likely to be his in ring work, which from what I saw at a house show in February is bad at best and depressing at worst.

As for the winner, I’ve got to go with Fandango.  He’s been built up too well and it’s clear that WWE sees something in him, given the amount of times they’ve repackaged him over the last few years.  Jericho is likely leaving again to do band stuff, so a loss and post match beatdown could very well be likely.  The match is likely to be entertaining because of both guys being such entertaining characters.  Fandango wins and should send Jericho part of his paycheck every week for a year as a result for putting him over like this at Wrestlemania.

How nice it is to only have one Chamber match at this show.  Let’s get to it.Starting with the preshow, I’ll go with Brodus/Tensai to beat the Rhodes Scholars.  Wait, didn’t they split up already?  Oh wait that was about two weeks ago so there’s no reason to remember it.  This is basically just a way to put the dancers over which is fine, but the Scholars shouldn’t have split already.  This should be the reason they break up, but that would make too much sense I guess.

I’ll go with Rock to retain the title, but I’m not 100% sold on it anymore.  The promos don’t have me wanting to see the match as much as I wanted to see them last month, but it should be better now that Rock isn’t coming in seven months cold.  I think they’re heading for Rock vs. Cena II at Wrestlemania and I can’ t say I’d argue over that idea.  Rock retains.

For the other title match…..I’ll go with Del Rio winning.  The bigger question seems to be will Ziggler cash in.  He hasn’t been seen much lately at all, which may be an attempt to make us forget about him before he cashes in on Sunday.  That being said, I’ve been thinking he’ll cash in for six months now, but I don’t think he’ll do it here.  Either that or he cashes in and loses.  Del Rio walks out with the title.

This brings us to the Chamber itself.  I’m pulling for Henry to win and set up the 6’4 Mexican David vs. the guy that Goliath checks under the bed for every night.  That being said, I have a bad feeling they’ll go with Swagger for the evil xenophobia angle at Wrestlemania, which makes my head hurt.  Bryan and Kane will likely continue to self destruct which is probably the best thing for them.  Orton and Jericho are just there and might have a match at Mania out of it.  Hopefully Henry wins but Swagger is the dark horse candidate.

I’ll take the three man machine to beat Shield.  Why would you have Cena win the Rumble one month and then lose in a six man the next?  Shield goes down here.

Kaitlyn over Tamina and Cesaro over Miz in matches that make no difference whatsoever.

Elimination Chamber looks like it could fit into the category of “good because it has no expectations coming in.”  Things could change a bit at this show and odds are we’ll finally get some answers about the rest of the card at Wrestlemania.  There are a lot of options open still which is nice as opposed to the card being pretty obvious eight weeks out.  The show should be good an interesting, which is a good sign.

I know it’s almost show time but I can still get this up before the show.

For the world title, I’ll go with Hardy to retain in a pretty obvious result.  This is the definitive match for Hardy to prove he’s better than Aries and it should be awesome.

In the triple threat, I’m picturing Roode pinning AJ.  The worst possible thing they could go with is Storm losing the fall, as he’s already been labeled as a choker over and over again.  Taking him away from the title picture for another year is just a bad move.  If you have a face champion, a heel challenger is a good thing.  Storm needs the title again eventually and BFG 2013 is WAY too far away for that to happen.

The tag champions will likely retain, which they shouldn’t because they’re dull with the belts but why should that stop TNA from pushing Chavo I guess.

In my prediction based on a gut instinct that will go wrong, Joe loses to Magnus.

Angle over D-Von.  Seriously, it’s D-Von.

Joey Ryan should win the X Title if they want to push him and I think they do so he wins here.

Flip a coin on the mixed tag: Tara and Jesse win.  Please break up ODB and Eric after this.  Please.

Doc over Park due to interference.

On paper, Turning Point looks like a top heavy card.  Once you get past the big matches though, you’ve got some DUMB ideas going on.  At the end of the day, Aces and 8’s are represented by Luke Gallows and D-Von and they’re facing former world champions.  Why would I buy either of these matches as being interesting?  The show should be good, but they need to go somewhere with the bikers already, and that means a leader.  It’s been WAY too long without a boss or a purpose being revealed.

Thoughts/predictions?

It’s time to take feuds that don’t belong in a Cell and lock them in a box in an attempt to make them seem more important.  Let’s get to it.We”ll start with the big one: Punk vs. Ryback.  This is an interesting one and a match I want to see for one reason: there are multiple options to who could win the match and that makes the match incredibly interesting.  I could see Punk or Ryback walking out with the title.  From what I’ve heard the house show matches have actually been decent which doesn’t surprise me given the guys in there.  At the end of the day I’m expecting Punk to retain but seeing Ryback take the title would be a nice surprise and something I’ve been calling for for months now.

The other world title match got a nice boost Friday (imagine that: the TV show before the PPV pushing a match) and I’m really not sure what to expect there either.  I’ll go with Sheamus to retain in a match that’s more entertaining than it has any right to be.

HELL NO to retain in another good match but I think the Scholars have a chance of taking the belts.  They’ll probably get the belts one day, but I’d rather see Sandow get a singles push.

I have a gut instinct that says Del Rio and while those are usually wrong, I’ll go with it.

Kofi to retain.

Kaitlyn gets the Divas Title.

Overall this has the potential to be a pretty good B show, but it’s not something I’m looking forward to aside from the main event.  The real main event that people are looking towards is Punk vs. Rock at the Rumble which I can’t see not happening, hopefully setting up a triple threat with Rock vs. Cena vs. Punk, which is what the story would seem to be building towards.  The show should be entertaining though, and that’s a step up for WWE after the disaster that was Raw.

Thought/predictions?

It’s Summerslam time and honestly I barely care after this lackluster build.  Let’s get to it.We’ll start with the matches of course.

For the preshow I’ll take Santino to retain in some wacky manner.  It should go to Cesaro to just give him something to do but they’re pushing Cesaro too hard to have him win here.

On to the main card, I’ll go with Bryan over Kane.  Bryan hasn’t won a singles match in months but yet he doesn’t need to win at all.  I’ll go with him because there is no reason to have Kane win at all here.

Ziggler over Jericho due to the word on the street being that Jericho is done after Sunday.

Miz to retain I guess but honestly does anyone care at all here?

Hopefully the Prime Time PLayers take the tag belts as Kofi and Truth are some of the lamest champions I can remember in a long time, which is saying something for the freaking tag team titles.

Sheamus over Del Rio with a possible cash in for Ziggler.  I really hope they don’t put it on Del Rio and then have Ziggy cash in.  That move drives me crazy.

For the main events, I’m hoping for Punk to retain but Big Show being in there would point to Cena walking out with the title.

For the real main event that hopefully won’t go on last, it has to be Lesnar.  I mean…..it HAS TO BE Lesnar……right?

Overall, this is one of the weakest looking Summerslams I can remember in a very long time.  The world title match is dragged down by a combination of Big Show and Punk seeming to have no idea if he’s a face or a heel.  At the end of the day, Rock continues to loom over this company but at least now there’s an open spot to face him at the Rumble.  Other than that, we have Lesnar vs. HHH in a feud that has almost no heat on it because it was started and then not mentioned again for three months before Shawn turned into a scared coward and Lesnar turned into every other cowardly heel that runs from a fight on the roster despite running over JOHN FREAKING CENA like he wasn’t there.  But hey, it makes HHH look more feared and if anyone needs the extra boost, it’s HHH.
