I’m changing ad servers in the near future so things might look a bit different around here, including the placement and amount of ads.  This will be a bit of a work in progress so please bear with me.  The initial new version will not likely be the final thing so if it’s bad at first, please be patient.  I can tweak whatever is needed so if people aren’t happy with it, I can adjust it as we go.

Also note that this is JUST for the ads and nothing will be changed as far as content, scheduling, etc.

Hey everyone.  I’m not sure what’s going on with the site outages but the whole place has been up and down for a few days now.  This happens occasionally and usually it works itself out.  If it isn’t fixed by tomorrow I’ll be talking to my hosting company but I’m very sorry for the glitches.

First and foremost, Merry Christmas. Enjoy some time with your friends/family, eat something good, and remember that it’s a celebration of Jesus’ birth. I know it might not be the most popular thing and I won’t go into it very often, but he can change your life for the better (He certainly has in mine). It’s certainly worth your time.

Other than that, thank you all so much for everything, including just coming here to read what I have to say. It’s the greatest gift I could have asked for and somehow this is what I get to do for a living. In something you probably don’t know, the wife and I had our first child in June and the fact that I can do support a family from watching wrestling makes my head spin every day. Thank you all so much and I’ll be trying to get better (as well as caught up) in the next few days and weeks.

We’ll be starting the annual count-up towards the 2023 Royal Rumble soon so I need some redos.  As always, I’ll be redoing the most recent but you all get to pick my other redo.  Any are eligible, save for those listed below, with the count-up starting on December 24 with 1988.  Vote in the comments  for which you would like to see me take another look at this time.

Had a bit of a family health emergency (nothing serious but it came out of nowhere) so I’ll be running back and forth to the hospital for a bit while taking care of my five month old.  I’m not sure what I’ll be able to do and Survivor Series might have to be postponed.  I’m very sorry about the delay but it’s out of my hands.

It’s that time again, as I’ll be starting the Survivor Series countup starting this Saturday.  Each day I’ll be posting a review of a past Survivor Series, but I’ll be doing two new versions.  One of them will be the 2021 edition, but you get to pick the other.  Any of them are eligible save for the following (which I’ve either done recently or done enough over the years):

So a company has approached me about a partnership which would be rather beneficial to everyone. In short, they would take over the technical side of the site, including redesigning things (both on desktop AND mobile) to make it far more user friendly and optimized. In short, as anyone who has been around me for any length of time can tell, I am in no way a tech guy and have no idea what I’m doing in that area. Having someone else handle that for me would be REALLY helpful and in theory would free up some time, allowing me to do more reviewing instead of dealing with everything else.

One important thing: I would maintain 100% control of the site and in no way, shape or form be told what I can and can’t do. Barring a major change in my life, I can’t picture ever selling the place or letting someone else have any say in how I review things around here. This would ONLY be for the tech side/advertisements.

The partnership would also help me out financially, though it would include some more ads on the site. I will have final say on the amount of ads and, assuming I agree to all of this, I won’t let it get out of hand as I can’t stand that myself and wouldn’t want to be here. Odds are we would be seeing some ads every X number of paragraphs of a review and a video that pops up in the corner (and can be closed) or something similar. The place absolutely will not be crawling with ads and if it becomes too much, I’ll pull some of them off, for everyone’s sake.

I’m not sure on if I’ll do this and I’d like to hear from you all. At the end of the day, if this place doesn’t work for you, there is no point in it being around and I want you to be happy with it. This is something that would make the place look/function far better and would help me be able to do more stuff. If that is ok with you all, I’m leaning towards going through with it, but I am absolutely willing to listen to reasons why I shouldn’t.

I got it for free for answering a survey for them and I’m not going to use it.  I’ll send the code to whoever comments first on this completely free, no strings attached.  I’ve tried the code and it works.

So I took in the Lexington Legends game last night.  The Legends are co-owned by former MLB star Brandon Phillips, who has a certain wrestling wife.  It happened to be Phillips’ birthday last night and his wife seems to have been there to see him.  I was down in the concourse between innings and ran into someone.

Very nice lady who seemed pleased that someone recognized her. Granted being taller than I am, the biceps, the hair and the AEW shirt tied around her waist were some hints.
