WWE Ending Single Branded House Shows

That’s the big news of the day.  Apparently the Raw and Smackdown brand names will be phased out of the live events but they’ll still be running two tours.  This is how it was back in the 80s and that means….That I like this idea.  Back in the day you didn’t know who was going to be on a show other than the top matches, so having a nice mix of people underneath the main events is a good idea.  It gives you an incentive to go because even if you don’t like just Raw or just Smackdown, you might see someone from another show that you like.  That’s a smart move.

And thus ends the reason to have 2 world titles. What do you think KB? Get rid of one world title?

No. Considering how much they’ve destroyed the lower titles already, why in the world would anyone pay to see a show where a world title isn’t on the line?

It probably won’t be any different. Smackdown came to Puerto Rico and the line-up was just abysmal. Orton, Sheamus, Big Show and the Colons. That was all the star power for it. Rey and Sin Cara are still out and Orton barely recovered from his injury for it. Meanwhile Raw has Cena, Punk, The Shield, Ryback, Hell No, I’m surprised this wasn’t done sooner.
