Raw Rating

Not something I usually talk about but this week is a bit different.Raw drew a 2.68 last night, which is down again.  Ratings have been trending down with Bryan on top which isn’t a good sign.  Yeah there’s a lot of other stuff at the moment, but Bryan doesn’t seem to be helping anything.

Say what you want about Bryan but the ratings are better than the first month of monday night football last year.

  2. Rocko says:

It is not the sole reason but Raw does lose viewers to MNF. They also lose viewers who can watch on the internet, DVR, three hours and a boatload of other crap.

I like how people blame MNF but the ratings 2 years ago were in the 2.9-3.3 range. Never went THAT low.

They are better than they were at this point last year. And that was with Cena,Orton,Punk, and Ryback headling the Show every week.

We seem to go through this every Fall. MNF is a huge part of RAW taking a hit in the Ratings and we shouldn’t be surprised by it. Its has nothing to do with who’s on top or playing the blame game of its HHH’s fault. He was barely on this week.

Monday Night Football is a huge factor. But Bryan couldn’t draw before MNF so he, as you said, is not helping either.

Is this more Bryan cannot draw or Cena being gone?

I believe it has to do with what deanerandterry said

No one wants to watch a rehash of a 13 year old storyline that no one liked the first time. Triple H is the focus of the show and the fact is. He just isn’t the same level of star that Austin, Rock, Hogan, and even Cena. he’s a good hand but he isn’t versatile enough. For all the segments he’s in to keep people interested.

      …..you weren’t around in 2000 were you/

Yes I was. Tell me Klunderbunker what was your favourite part of 2000? Was it The radicals Debuting? Was it the Rise of Kurt angle? Was it the Rock at one of his highest peaks? or was it Triple H’s never ending promos? Is Triple H a good wrestler? Yes. Is he now or has he ever been the guy that draws the money? No As Jim cornette once said “Triple H is the guy that works with the guy that draws the money”

That’s no fault of his, he just wasn’t on the same level as austin or rock. Yet he gets a pass.

I don’t see why you are ok with the wwe’s quest to make Triple h a main event guy that fans did not want. But your not ok with Dainel Bryan now being made into a main event guy that fans do want. Spare me the ratings I mean in terms of being a fan. Do you not like Daniel’s bryans wrestling style? promos? because he’s a vegan? It’s the beard isn’t it ?

You really don’t read my stuff that closely do you?

I like Bryan fine. He’s just not a good draw.

        • M.R. says:

If Jim Cornette said it it MUST be true.

2000 is one of the highlight years in the company’s history.

        • Ted says:

I’d trust his wrestling knowledge more than yours. Also who said anything about 2000 being a bad year? It was simply that triple h isn’t on the upper echelon of wrestlers. He’s never discussed among fans as one of the all time best. He’s shoehorned in as one when the wwe does a top 10. However fans don’t perceive him as a big name.

  7. M.R. says:

I’d link it to the absence of the company’s biggest star more than anything else.

  8. deanerandterry says:

Its the HHH and Steph show, doesn’t everyone want to watch the same storyline for 15 years? I know I do.

  9. Killjoy says:

I’m more inclined to believe it’s Triple H rather than Bryan. It’s just too hard for me to believe it’s him with the ridiculously loud responses he gets.
