It’s because the attitude era gives some fans a warm fuzzy feeling. Also they hate change.
I don’t get what the issue is with PG for some people? What is it they feel they’re missing out on? It can’t be the swearing because people like Punk get some mild swears in from time to time. It can’t really be blood and head shots because that’s more of a health issue than a PG issue. There’s very little that WWE can’t do in PG that they’ve done in the past.
