Doubt it. At that point vader was nothing, as a draw and a wrestler, Bulldog pulled a good match out of warlord. Shame what became of him though.

“It’s not completely horrible as the talent in there brings it up (I mean dude, the Bulldog is the worst wrestler in there. That says a lot”

In what universe is vader or mick a better wrestler than the bulldog?

Waited for this to show up and it didn’t disappoint. Decent Mania that was just about Austin and Hart.

  4. Jay says:

Yeah I think they planned to turn Austin. Even Bret said in Wrestling with Shadows about Vince noticing the Crowds reacting to Austin in a positive way. So it was eventually going to happen and the double turn happened at Wrestlemania.

  5. Boo Didley says:

Your answer is a little vague… you do think it was spontaneous?

    • Thomas Hall says:

No. It was planned. The cheers for Austin had been around for awhile and then with the cameras staying on him and Bret turning heel, there’s no way it wasn’t planned.

  6. Muffin Top Merkley says:

Was the Austin/Hart double turn intentially booked that way, or did the fans just react that way and the WWF ran with it.
