    Two things:

    1. The IWC STILL hates Hogan’s guts and I don’t think ever stopped

    2. Fire Marshall Bill gets nowhere near the love he deserves

My god is that guy clueless. The japanese match happened because Heenan sold WCW Pro to Onoo and at the time they used it to promote wrestlers from New Japan, all in the build up to Starrcade 1995 and if you don’t know 4 of the at the time most famouse joshi’s, you really got no right to review wrestling and act as this all knowing authority.

I’m far from some all knowing authority. Now that being said, the fact that most of the build took place on WCW Pro should tell you a lot about why this show isn’t exactly remembered as some great moment.

you’re being generous with that D

I don’t think Hogan EVER lost cleanly in WCW. In fact there’s a 12 year gap between clean losses between Wrestlemania 6 to X8. By the way, Luger, Piper, Goldberg and Sting don’t count since there was interference in all of those matches. But strangely enough, Hogan lost clean quite a few times in his 2002 return.

So Hogan can’t even lose a battle royal cleanly.

Great review. I might check a World War 3 out if I’m bored, just to see one of the craziest gimmicks matches in history.

And I was gonna say that I know a girl named Kimberly who isn’t hot, but then I realized, “Hey, she is kinda hot.”
