Batista was/is still better.
Cena, he had a ton of personality and was putting on moments that you knew would be fitting of one of the greats (however most of which was before Mania XX the year between XX and 21 seemed to just be building to the world title)
Batista on the flip side had very little in the way of personality, hadn’t had a memorable match and showed no reason to care more than the student beating the master in evolution
Batista. But thank God They didn’t put the company on his shoulders. We see now what became of Batista, bashing WWE At every corner. I still think he’s going to come crawling back though.
At this point, I liked Batista more than Cena, mainly because of how Batista was built heading into Mania 21.
Agreed. The build for Batista was well done up to that point. When he turned on Triple H and Flair, it was a cool moment.
