I hate to ask this, but during the Attitude Era, I don’t think we ever saw a WWE Superstar on anything nearly as big as a Fruity Pebbles box. Sure there were TV Guide covers and magazines, and even products like energy drinks or stuff, but nothing with anywhere NEAR the name recognition as Fruity Pebbles.
And considering I can’t recall the last time WWE was used in such a light, This is absolutely HUGE for WWE.
If you’re implying this puts modern WWE on the same platform as the attitude era as far as mainstream media goes, you’re sadly mistaken.
I’m not at all. I’m just saying that they haven’t been nationally recognized in a long-ass time, and it’s a big deal that it’s happening again. Especially considering they are temporarily replacing a legend like Fred Flintstone.
