I’m going to be so disappointed if Cena wins the rumble tonight. No it’s not because I hate cena or think he’s the anti christ. It’s because it’s been done. Why not elevate someone new? Is it so much to ask for someone else to main event wrestlemania?

  2. chris says:

The question should be, does it really help orton to beat them? he’s already established.

  3. Not Jay says:

Fine I’ll stop. Just wanted to see how much I could piss off Jay. I did better than I thought I would.

  4. Thomas Hall says:

Part of the reasons he keeps doing it is how you react to it.

  5. M.R. says:

Punk looks like a child standing next to Rock.

  6. Stormy says:

    KB, I have a question?

Why do you seemingly have an issue with the Orton/3MB ending? Mahal is doing what he should do as a teammate. If my teammate is about to be pinned, I should do everything I can to make him not get pinned, even if it means a DQ. A DQ loss is better then a pinfall loss.

It wasn’t about protecting Drew McIntyre, it was about protecting 3MB as a cohesive unit. I mean they could have had Orton destroy Mahal and Slater then pin Drew, but they decided to go the DQ route instead.

    • Thomas Hall says:

Why in the world does a team of comedy jobbers need to be protected? That’s what jobbers are for: to do jobs.

      • chris says:

It’s because it’s not 1987 anymore and if they have any hope of creating new stars people need to be protected. Not saying I’d start with 3mb Though they are hilarious. There’s no such thing as jobbers anymore just wrestlers sorry superstars. If Brooklyn brawler existed today he’d be protected at times. How times change

        • Thomas Hall says:

So let me make sure I’ve got this straight:

You’re saying that we need to make sure Randy Orton doesn’t beat 3MB because it would make 3MB look bad to get pinned by one of the most successful wrestlers of all time? Really? On this same show the Intercontinental Champion got pinned clean by a Brogue Kick but we can’t have Drew McIntyre lose to an RKO?

  7. Jay H. says:

The CM Punk/Shield/Rock Segment was good and I can’t wait to see the Match on Sunday as well.

  8. Not Jay says:

You hit the nail right on the head KB, this was a great Smackdown, dare I say best Smackdown in the last 10 years.

Can’t wait for Sunday and I still say Cena wins by eliminating the entire TNA roster(they will be a collective unit and get 1 number) finally putting that company to rest like it should be

    See you Sunday

  9. Don’t you mean the 2006 Rumble with Rey Mysterio, KB?
