Is there something about Kaitlyn I’m just not seeing? She’s not really hot or attractive, she’s really not that good in ring wise and I would take AJ’s stale “whoo crazy” routine as a champion before Kaitlyn. And yet people still tell me how good she is.

    I don’t get it

I didn’t mind Kaitlyn winning the divas title over Eve in a pretty good match, but the character didn’t go anywhere and she’s still merely so-so in the ring and not good on the mic. I would have been cool with her as just a throwback babyface diva, but the secret admirer storyline/Cody Rhodes flirtation made her seem like a chump and a meanie. I’d like the character to somehow become more charismatic in a likeable way–even Layla and Alicia Fox come off as more likeable and charming with their limited screen time.

Daniel Bryan you did it again. Best part of RAW since Punk vs. Cena the day after Elimination Chamber.

I really want him to be in the main event for good. If they can’t see he’s ready now then they never will. He has been the best, consistent performer since he got together with Kane and can do everything well.

He may not have the look and I don’t want him to take Cena’s spot now or anything but “testing the waters” with Bryan in the main event is a smart way to go. You put him in a position where he could actually be one of their top draws I think he would surprise a lot of people. He doesn’t have the marketability of Cena but he’s good enough that people would get behind him and would pay to see him.

Shield are the MVP’s of WWE right now. Take them away and RAW has next to nothing. I’m still amazed at how well the WWE’s booking them. See it’s not hard. There was no ‘you’re young, you have to pay your dues’ BS. They brought them in as killers, booked them as killers, treated them as killers and look how over they are.

And KB, you are totally right about the ratings. There was nothing on TV last night, so by default the ratings will go up, the McMahons will take credit and will be all over our TV’s all summer

Let me also mention Daniel Bryan is an MVP of WWE along with the Shield before I get hate responses

    • M.R. says:

While I appreciate a young team being booked well, I fail to see anything interesting the Shield has done. Feels very generic to me.

  4. Jay H says:

I hope Punk/Lesnar does happen at Summerslam. I think that Match would be very good.

    • M.R. says:

My problem with a potential Brock/Punk match: look at them! Brock should squash a guy Punk’s size.

      • chris says:

Yes because it’s not possible for a smaller guy to win a fight right? Royce Gracie made a career out of taking down guys twice his size. Besides it’s a performance. It would be a good match though.

        • M.R. says:

Not that anyone was even vaguely interested in your opinion, wrestling is about believability. The monster that is Brock Lesnar tore through John Cena throughout the entire match, why wouldn’t he do the same against a guy 50 pounds less? Fool.

  5. Mystery Man says:

How about that epic acting job by Kaitlyn? I’m officially starting to mark out for her.

  6. Jay H says:

I don’t think that was the end of the HHH/Vince/Stephanie stuff.

  7. M.R. says:

Curtis Axel looked awful tonight, thoroughly dominated by Triple H throughout the short encounter.

    • Thomas Hall says:

But hey, he (kind of) beat HHH in their first match (which we were notified of if we read the last page of an article on WWE.com) so that’s a BIG rub right?

      • M.R. says:

I just don’t understand the point of the character, a stepping stone for Triple H until Brock’s back for Summerslam?

        • Thomas Hall says:

That’s been my problem with it: he has potential, the look, the ability, the talking, the genes, the manager, the name (bend with me on that one) and he gets this as a result. That’s my issue with HHH: it’s not that he gets to have a story. it’s that he has to be THE story and Heaven help anyone who gets even the slightest bit of his spotlight along the way, because he will destroy you.

        • Jordan says:

I think Punk is gonna split from Heyman and take on Lesnar at Summerslam. It looks like they are just gonna give Axel the IC belt and let him restore some credibility to it for now.

  8. Jordan says:

So they probably spent around 20 minutes of TV time towards something that led nowhere. But hey its the McMahons and HHH, so we are dying to see it right? That’ll pop the ratings for sure.

    • Thomas Hall says:

Even worse: there’s nothing on TV tonight so the ratings will be up. Guess who gets the credit.

      • Mike says:

Never know KB. Sony had their E3 at 10pm and the viewers are RAW’s key demos. I think they might have taken a hit as number were in the 10 millions who were watching.

Even I was watching and forgot RAW was on.

  9. Blaze Frazier says:

KB, you need to change a few headers in the review. Just wanted to point them out to you.

Ryback vs. Dean Ambrose – Should be Kane instead of Ryback.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E. Langston – Should be Chris Jericho instead of Ziggler.

    Everything else looks good.
