Because I’m a fan not a douchey fanboy and I would point out problems. I like both companies too.

Ugh ok whatever. Fact is Ive been watching Wrestling for over 20 years from the WWF/E,WCW,ECW,SMW,TNA,and ROH. Yes I am partial to the WWE but that doesn’t mean I want to see TNA do bad. I would like nothing more than for TNA to get its shit straight and get back to what they were doing when they started. Sadly I don’t see that happening anytime soon because the idiots who run that place don’t have the first clue about what they are doing. Does that help you out any?

This is the first and last TNA show I’ve ever gone to. I didn’t even really want to go amd the only reason we went was because I super low balled an offer to a guy I thought would say no, but he accepted. The arena was empty and there were guys going around asking people to move closer. I heard attendence was around 3500 which seemed about right. There were about 10 people (that literally might be over exaggerated) on the non TV side (not counting floor). The show was incredibly boring and really the only match I liked was the Styles/Bully match. Even the Angle/Roode match wasn’t that good. The ending was confusing (as was the ultimate x match) and it had way too many dead spots.

If you sat in a certain area you could actually see the wrestlers walking around backstage. Like EY doing that fist pump thing with the Bro Mans. Nice job there.

For TNAs WrestleMania this was awful. A freaking squash match on their WrestleMania. Sting needs to retire, his match was awful. The crowd was not into that match at all. His deathlock looked horrible (not sure how it came across on TV).

Hogan was promoted on everything that he would be on the show. Literally almost all the ads for BFG were about him so I was kind of disappointed he didn’t show up. Never seen him live before so it would have been cool, but the show sucked with or without him anyways.

Apparently the attendance was between 3700 to 4200.

seriously? I checked up on last years show and if the numbers aren’t wrong, this years show had nearly double the attendance. Of course the GCU Arena where the show was last year was a 5000 seater as opposed to the Viejas Arena’s 12,000+. They need to stay in their more well noted areas. Lockdown did over 10000 and so did Slammiversary. Both were in Texas. Stop experimenting.

I think that picture and your final thoughts about sums it up. Other than Angle/Roode it was a very lackluster PPV.

Dirty horrible troll. This is the same person who thought Night Of Champions and BATTLEGROUND! Of all PPV’s were good even though Night Of Champions had the most negative reaction from fans and reviewers I’d seen in quite some time.

      Keep trolling TNA.

Thought the show was pretty good, was very disappointed in Magnus/Sting. Not really sure why people are hoping TNA goes out of business. If it does then what? WWE is not gonna pick up many of the guys and now all you can watch is WWE and Triple H. If you don’t like TNA don’t watch but to hope it goes out of business(which people are doing, including Scott Keith) is just stupid.

I guess WWE marks really want that Sting DVD(which would be awesome don’t get me wrong) and have him finally inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but other than that, it’s just nice to have another wrestling show to watch on TV other than WWE.

    • Thomas Hall says:

I don’t hope they go out of business, but if this is the best they can do then they’re just making my job give me extra headaches.

      • james gracie says:

I know you don’t but it seems people agree cause right now on Scott’s Blog of Doom there is a post from an email titled ‘Rimshot'(a reference from an earlier post on the blog) where a fan calls out people wanting TNA to die. I swear it wasn’t me who wrote it but I’d like to think that whoever wrote it read my comment here and decided to send Scott an email about that very topic.
It happened about a half hour after I wrote this comment. Or to quote Doc Brown….’It could be just an awful coincidence’

  6. Killjoy says:

The Ultimate X match having so much higher talent really screwed things up for the show. I really loved Angle/Roode and the main event and the Bromans showed they aren’t just a bad comedy act, but but at the end of it, it’s 3 matches in a 6 match card in a 3 hour show. It was good, but it certainly wasn’t the usual good BFG can put on.
