I’m loving these breakdowns of shows. You should do these more often, as they’re great reads.

Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns both deserve something bigger than a generic six-man tag at Mania.

    • Conor says:

They’ll look like the big hitters of their team and get a much clamoured for match on the card. If they do go with that, it’s a sign that Shield are definitely ending at Mania. Plus, Bray is getting Cena at Mania anyway.

Btw, would it kill them to book a couple of midcard feuds? Nothing too complicated, just a few stories to make us care about these guys who have random matches every week. A bit of promo time for those guys would really benefit them. Look at Barrett, he gets to talk a bit and isn’t stuck in the random match rotation and he’s getting over.

      • M.R. says:

Bray Wyatt would look like a MUCH bigger deal going against Cena than the Shield.

        • Conor says:

He’s going against Cena at Mania. He beat Bryan clean on PPV. He’s going to be a big deal no matter what happens at EC. The six man (which isn’t even confirmed for the card btw) is simply the last opportunity to have a cool match between the two main factions. It’s not going to hurt anybody.

        • M.R. says:

What you find ‘cool’, I find lazy and tiresome.

    • Ted says:

It will be a good match. You may as well get the six together while you still can.

I think Shield v Wyatts happens at the Chamber.

I was surprised at 2 things last night – no Rusev and no advancement between Cody/Goldust. Thought for sure they’d at least touch on that somehow.

Does Lesnar getting involved w Batista, Orton (and by extension the Authority) lead you to believe Sting is a possibility for Taker at WM?

    • Steve says:

About Sting, I def see it as the WWE is in some heavy talks with Sting and are leaving options open right now.

Obviously if Sting signs he will be with Taker at WM. If Brock is killing someone with a chair and the lights go out then we’ll know that Sting is out. I still think most of the main event scene is dependent on wether Sting signs or not.

To me so far only Cena, Wyatt, HHH, and Punk are locked in for matches. This is one of the more interesting roads to WM I can remember because theres so many moving parts atm. I cant remember the last time we had a Rumble winner that wasnt 100% locked into the title match at Mania.

Lesanr, Batista, Orton, Bryan, Taker, Sting? Reigns/The Shield, and to a lesser extent Sheamus are all big time players in need of a match right now.

I will say that if Bryan is in the ME he needs to be challenging for the Title and not defending. I think it will take away alot of steam if he wins the belt before Mania.

      • M.R. says:

Cue eye roll. You have no idea on the depths of talks Sting and WWE are having.

        • Steve says:

Look man chill out I never said I knew what was going on behind closed doors. Im just speculating on Stings involvement at WM. Im just saying to me it looks like alot of the card is hinging on if he agrees to work a match with Taker or not.

        • M.R. says:

I’m basically chill as can be, my point is every year the Sting rumors come up, and every year they’re bullshit. I highly doubt the WWE is waiting on a 90s star, who’s constantly turned them down, to decide on the matchups for their biggest show of the year.

        • Ted says:

But you don’t know that your speculating just like he is.

        • M.R. says:

Yet my speculations have a much more sound foundation.

        • Steve says:

How Is your foundation any more solid. than mine? The guy isn’t under contract right now and he is rumored to have just sjgned a legends deal.

I’m not saying that the entire WM card is in limbo because of one guy but your crazy if u don’t think that they have at least a two different plans for WM depending on what Sting does.
