It’s werid to praise a good show?

So If I get the Network, THIS is the show I’m paying for? I think I made the right decision. Wow, this is what people are praising?

Yeah, I agree, this wasn’t as good as Arrival and Takeover, but still better than anything else WWE puts on right now.

    1. Watch WWE waste Kenta, I mean Hideo, they have a horrible track record with Japanese wrestlers, I don’t think anything will change.
    2. While Bailey Vs. Charlotte wasn’t that great, it was still light years beyond anything the Divas Division puts on.
    3. They could’ve cut the two squashes and added that time to either the Tag Titles or Women’s matches.

Why WWE signs anyone who can’t speak English is beyond me. I have no idea who Kenta is (I’ve heard his name, nothing else beyond that) but if he can’t speak English, how the crap would large crowds care?

That’s why they always fail. WWE can’t see that for some reason.

He’s learning. The stuff he said was coherent and easy to understand but you could tell he wasn’t comfortable with it yet.

Get him a manager. Problem solved. Not to mention his work will do the talking for him.

        • Rocko says:

Not really. The problem with managers is very simple. We still have to care about the performer. There is a reason why Heyman/Lesnar works and Heyman/Axel didn’t. We weren’t given a reason to care about Axel. Though to be fair, the writers were kind of at fault for Axel.

If Kenta can learn English to a degree and then get a manager, that can work. But a guy like Sin Cara with no English has almost no chance of working.

        • yes says:

I will agree he needs some more English. But to write him off just because he’s not great at it is short minded. His ring work will endear him to fans. Fans already seem to be buying into the hype. He will be fine.

Sin Cara would have worked had they not gotten someone so accident prone who turned into a running joke.

        • Rocko says:

I’m not writing him off for not speaking English. I’m just concerned as guys who can’t speak English don’t tend to get very high up in the card. While guys can get over based solely on in ring work, not a lot do.

Off the top of my head, the only guys to hold the WWE/World title without being able to speak basic English are Khali and Yokozuna (though I think Yokozuna could speak English, they just didn’t let him).

Guys who got around the language barrier had something that made them special. I’ve never seen Kenta before, so I have no idea what he is like. Guys who can’t speak English have to make the audience care in some other way. Not a lot of guys can do that.

Also, does anyone know if he can speak basic English (beyond just what he said on this show)? I just assumed he couldn’t.

What about whatever language warrior was speaking?

NXT is 3 for 3 with these Specials. The 4-Way was awesome and I thought Sami Zayn was going to win, can’t wait to see him & Neville feud for the Title. Charlotte/Bayley was a good as well for 2nd best Match of the night. I liked Kenta’s debut and im good with his New name. Triple H has to be like a proud papa watching his baby grow.
