Hows this for Mania booking :

Have Ambrose win the Rumble and challenge Lesnar at WrestleMania. Have the Underdog who will go to any lengths to win kinda story.

Reigns can face Bray Wyatt. Their feud was anticipated last year during Mania season too.

Cena vs. Rusev (as has been speculated and would work big time)

Rollins vs Orton (plus Rollins may cash in at the end of the night over Ambrose if he wins setting up the feud of the summer)

Triple H vs. Sting (or maybe Taker vs. Sting. However I DO NOT want to see Taker-Wyatt)

I dunno where to fit Ziggler in here since he has been getting a HUGE push for past 2 months. Plus Daniel Bryan is still a question mark.

I don’t know if ‘huge’ is the word I’d describe for Ziggler’s push right now. He got a big win at Survivor Series, but he doesn’t even get the credit for ending the Authority, Sting does. No one even mentions Zigglers super man showing at Survivor Series. And he’s right back where he’s always been, in the mid card.

That’s true to a degree but I wouldn’t say he’s right back where he was. He’s more of a serious player now and that helps the title.

Like you guys, I am still hoping for a swerve of some sort with regards to Reigns winning as this dumb ass feud with Big Show will surely ensure that Reigns can’t build enough momentum to make his moment of winning the Rumble worthwhile.

I do wonder how they’d build up another match for Reigns, however. But it is clear that they have a load of stuff to do if a Reigns Rumble win is to have the desired reception from the crowd given this Big Show debacle.
Dumb Booking if ever there was such happening in the WWE,lMO.

Gotta say i am really pulling for Ambrose winning the rumble and seth to cash in on the winner of lesnar and Cena. Thats a risk for Mania but they can easily throw Reigns vs Cena and Lesnar vs Orton on the card. Reigns has it in him to be a top guy but it wouldnt hurt to save it for a year or maybe have him win it later on next year. What do you think man?

    • Thomas Hall says:

The more I think about it, the more I hope it’s not Reigns. It’s not that he’s bad, but he’s just not ready for the super push. Rollins was the best all year and he deserves the spot.

Side note: were the reviews a bit better this week? I tried to crank them up a bit based on what you said.

I was all for Reigns winning the Rumble until his injury, as he was on the right track to succeed. Having lost all that momentum and time to improve over the autumn, I really think it would be best if he wins it next year, and then takes on Cena in a passing-of-the-torch match at WM32. That gives him another year to fine tune his act and in ring skills.

      • Londoner says:

And also, at the moment, it feels a tad too obvious that Reigns will be winning and facing Lesnar at Mania. I’d like to see the ‘E throw a curveball and give the Rumble win to Ambrose or Ziggler, or if he’s somehow fit by next month, Daniel Bryan. Let Reigns have a valiant performance in the Rumble before being screwed over by Rollins or Big Show or Rusev.
