Why is the biggest heel on the roster a guy in a suit that only competes a handful of times a year?

Wow, guess I enjoyed this show much more than you did……

Wait…I know what’s going on. It’s so obvious! Clearly Vince and Dixie Carter made one of those ‘Trading Places’ type of wagers, just to see which promoter can spew out the most illogical, offensive garbage, while still somehow staying in business. But instead of like in Trading Places, where the two rich bosses bet each other a buck that they could make big changes in their company while not caring about the lives they ruin in the meantime, these two douchebags are ruining our lives. Yep, that’s it. You two crazy kooks!

I’m sorry, but this show was a D minus assuming one is feeling generous. It just left me feeling depressed. It’s obvious to anyone over the age of 7 that until Vince croak…er, retires, WWE is going to continue it’s long, slow swirl down the crapper. If Vince somehow hangs in there another decade, I can swear to you on all that’s holy you’ll be seeing Kane and the Bellas in 2025, still being pushed with every ounce of company muscle. Dolph Ziggler will still be popular and talented but will be pinned every week because…well, because he’s popular and talented, but mostly because he’s not a pituitary case.
I want to know who the head writer was that Vince canned last Spring after the stock fail. Because some company needs to give the guy a chance. Remember how much urgency the Trips/Steph vs Bryan feud had, how genuinely exciting it was to see reality turned into a top notch angle? If you’re looking for the polar opposite reaction, check out this year’s version of “WWE owners and upper management hate the top babyfaces” program. Last year, it worked because it actually made sense. But for Christ’s sake, why are we supposed to believe they now hate Roman Reigns and want him destroyed, preferably by a pair of over the hill dullard freaks?? Sorry, but they crossed the line last year, and thanks to their insistence on trending everything that happens backstage, we’re quite aware that management actually loves Roman and is pushing him ahead of the little guy that they genuinely don’t care for! Last year, smart adult fans knew about the blurred line. Now every WWE fan over toddler age knows what’s going on, because they keep telling us!!!
Please, wrestling gods, please make something happen…this organization needs a shake up more than the 0-16 2008 Detroit Lions did. Please?

You do understand why we’ve been seeing things like Show pinning Reigns, Kane not tapping out, etc., right? Right now, Vince is in full on “Go F yourself, WWE Universe!” mode. When Batista won the Rumble last year and got crapped on, Vince was in the midst of a 2 year break from the creative side of the business, which is why WWE kind of resembled a pro wrestling company for awhile there. So anyway, it was Trips’ job to handle the backlash a year ago.
But now…it’s personal. His own audience has embarassed Vince with their unhappiness at this year’s Rumble. This is a new thing for the megalomaniac. People may not have done backflips over pushes to Miz and Chris Masters and Hornswaggle, et al, but at least they sat there quietly. Now fans are rebelling, and Vince is pissed.

    Paige got tattoos. I’m annoyed.

sooo is wwe still in the slow part of the year?

  8. Killjoy says:

Fake Sting looked like Dark Cuervo from Mexico.

  9. Aeon Mathix says:

Fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through. Glad i didnt miss anything. Like idk a god damn Orton return. Seriously the guys been on vacation for like 4 months now. Just have him interfere and attack rollins. It isnt that hard.

Thank freaking lord for NXT Takeover Wednesday.

Is it so hard to keep Reigns vs Bryan as a Face vs Face match, and book them accordingly.

Reigns just ended RAW doing a totally heelish and pretty Seth Rollins-like steal for the final pin.

Underwhelming show. Seems like we stuck in the Fall period at this point.

    • Jay H (the real one) says:

I think they are keeping them as Face vs Face but obviously with the tension of Wrestlemania being involved. I actually see Reigns turning Heel at some point and if it becomes a Triple Threat as is rumored now for WM 31 with Daniel Bryan winning the Title again I definitely see it happening.

I haven’t watched yet. I’ll watch it later but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the show opened with some kind of long promo in the ring where the guy in the ring had us look at a recap from last week on the Titan tron.
