Wait, is JBL legit rich? It’s a little hard to tell, given he’s not the first or last guy whose gimmick was “I’m a rich son of a bitch”.

I don’t know about him being legit super rick or not but he indeed seems quite knowledgeable about economics and trade matters seeing as he regularly appears on Fox news and other media as an expert on economic policies.

I probably would get sick of it after a disc, but I’d buy an actual JBL set, especially with some in and/or out of character thoughts from the guy. He’s had a varied enough career that you could get a sampling of interesting matches, plus a lot of fun promos.

Obviously, the holy grail of releases is a Kurt Angle set if they can ever get him back in the fold. That should be like six discs.

The constant revisits and recap series about the Attitude Era do get tiresome. However, if the DVD involves McMahon and Bischoff together in a sit-down environment with someone like JR doing the interviewing (like the Greatest Rivalries: Hart vs Michaels DVD), then this could be something very interesting. What’d ya think?

Here’s my real issue with them constant plowing of the Attitude Era stuff: WWE is a publicly-traded PG company and they toot their horns about a family-oriented product and all the good clean entertainment as if it was run by Disney. Yet when it comes to selling their Network and DVD/merchandising/video games (read: making money), they turn to nothing else but the 4+ smashmouth and blood-thirsty years of the glorious Attitude Era and promote the shit out of it, proving their desperation of having to hang onto something that happened over 15 years ago in order to make money.

Trust me I love and cherish the heck out of the Attitude Era. The intensity and entertainment of that period is unparalleled. But this contradiction on the part of the company confounds me.
