Anyone find it odd that in the tag team chamber match at certain parts the teams were breaking up pins not on their partners?

  2. Reid says:

A little generous on the IC Title chamber match don’t you think? Match was a trainwreck. Some parts were entertaining (Plexiglass, used on armored cars chamber pod falls over and wobbles all over the place while Mark Henry just stands there; Sheamus’ pod getting stuck; Ziggler loudly calling spots) but the rest was slow-paced and boring as hell and the tired crowd didn’t help either.

I really didn’t think it was that bad. Sheamus locking himself inside the pod was a nice touch and the ending was the right pick. I liked it well enough.

I’ll agree with you about Ryback winning, he’s gotten better since he and Axel split and I’m glad he finally got his moment. I don’t know how I feel about Sheamus’ pod though. I thought it was smart at first with jamming his pod on purpose but with the commentary team didn’t really play it off that well with the only thing mentioning it is JBL just saying “Oh he fixed it.” I thought the whole thing came off kinda botchy and everything else that happened didn’t help either.

Glad you liked the tag team chamber match, I thought i was the only one!
I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying it wasn’t very good but for me it was the 2nd best match of the night!

After reading your review KB it looks like there’s plenty to be excited about, but considering how things have been handled lately I just can’t find myself to get excited. At this point I’m just waiting for them to mess it all up again.

You’re not alone. That’s the theme of the podcast NorCal and I just got done recording.

I haven’t got a chance to check it out yet but I’ve heard good things about the podcast. Today sounds like the perfect time to do that.

This was my very first live event, and I had a blast. How did the crowd sound on the network? There seemed to be a lot of dead spots other than the Owens/cena match. The crowd was wild for it, myself included, but people seemed really burned out after that match.

  6. Killjoy says:

Sounds like a great card. Until the finish of the main event. Jesus, it sounds stupid. Stretching for the sake of stretching.

But glad to hear some good shit happened.

I finally have a reason to cheer and support Ryback. He’s the new Intercontinental Champ!

  8. Jay H (the real one) says:

Some nobody? Do you even bother to know anyone outside of WWE? Kevin Owens has been Wrestling for 15 years around the world and was just made a bigger star in one night by beating the Top guy in the Company. I bet if Cena had won tonight you’d be crying foul about how he never puts anyone over and how they had a chance to make a New Star. Honestly maybe you should stop watching but I know you won’t do that seeing as how you lied after January 5th of this year saying that was it for you. So we know you are a hypocrite as well.

Anyway I enjoyed EC and they had me when Ambrose pinned Seth Rollins and was announced as the New Champion. I figured HHH would reverse it or a DQ would come but I was hoping they’d let it go.

It’s cool Jay. James Gracie is just some loser troll having fun. Pretty pathetic. NXT is not lousy it’s the best thing in wrestling today and it’s fans aren’t nerds but REAL wrestling fans

  9. Jerichoholic94 says:

Wasn’t your best friend Daniel Bryan ? Wasn’t he on season 1 of NXT?

  10. Bernkastel says:

Owens pinning Cena clean legit had me stunned. I thought for sure it was going to be a draw. Maybe a double pin or a double count out.

  11. Bossman says:

Another problem with main event PPV matches is that the wacky finishes lead to a wacky finish on RAW with nothing coming from it. They really need to change it up to make it less predictable and make their PPV endings mean something without it feeling like a glorified RAW main event.
