Good lord lol, I just watched this nitro. Wow. I need to be drunk and/or high before I do these, I passed on most of the Russomania back in the day.

I like that Hogan last week said Eric said he couldn’t get rid of the yellow and red and this week comes out in hollywood black and white gear, like lol

  3. Greg says:

Russo claims the blood didn’t fall when it was supposed to (or they were out of place, can’t remember). I’m sure it was a “mistake” and not a way for Russo to look really manly.

    • Thomas Hall says:

Oh totally. Remember: nothing is ever Vince Russo’s fault and he just didn’t get the support that he needed.

      • Heyo says:

I actually believe him here, because this wasn’t the only botch with the falling blood(there was a time the blood got on fans rather than the wrestlers).

        • Thomas Hall says:

I’d buy this if there was another example of Russo letting Ric get one up on him. Russo could have called an audible and given up or told the referee to have Ric break the hold for some reason. Add in the fact that Russo doesn’t even limp after being in the hold and I don’t buy what he’s saying.

  4. John says:

According to Hogan’s recently discovered 1998 contract, he made $232,683.75 for the Finger Poke of Doom. Almost 250,000 DOLLARS to ruin WCW.

    Think about this and weep.

    • Thomas Hall says:

I’ll see that and raise you Vince Russo making $2 million a year.

      • Jay H (the real one) says:

All I can say is thank god I didn’t go to this Monday Nitro. I don’t get how Flair just didn’t walk out when he found out he was putting Russo over in a Cage no less.

        • Vintage Nick says:

Not just that, but also Russo surviving the Figure Four for over a minute and making Ric look like a fool.

        • Jay H (the real one) says:

Yeah I don’t know what’s worse. Putting him over or him surviving a finishing move that’s won him thousands of Matches for over a minute.
