I saw Sean Maluta in a wrestling event in a indy promotion called WXW. He was pretty good in the ring; so it’s cool to see that he’s been doing well for himself.

All the best for his future.

I didn’t like this. Don’t really know what I expected. Didn’t know who anyone was. No reason to care if anyone won or not. This is not my thing. The matches were okay to good but nothing that made me go wow.

The first round of this thing is basically a bunch of known Indy guys facing unknown Indy guys to give the fans who are into the indies a window to their style. Half tryout and half uncharacteristic goodwill from WWE is how I’m looking at this round.

Don’t worry, very soon you’ll see why some of these matchups are “dream matches” – and they better be freaking amazing given they’ve had more than a while to prepare with the talented guys that they’re facing.

It’s so refreshing to see someone post that they didn’t like something without trying to tear it down or suggest your stupid for liking it. Sometimes it’s just not your thing.

Personally I loved it. Big fan of tournaments, It makes me want to see more and even look up some of these guys independent work.

I’m just waiting on a replacement being needed so Mr. 450 can go in there.

Good night of wrestling and this made Ibushi look like a star tonight. Bryan popping for moves was just awesome.

I’m surprised how they found so many natural heel and natural face match ups and I hope it continues throughout the first round.

A good start to the Tournament and I like duo of Mauro/Daniel Bryan on the call. I like what I saw from Ibushi as someone who hasn’t seen much of him despite hearing a ton about him.

  6. Hamler says:

Sean Maluta is definitely someone I hope gets a developmental deal soon. But Alexander vs Ibushi should be freaking amazing.
