The local wrestler who Heath Slater beat up is Justyn Glory. I went to college with him. He was one of Adam Rose’s rosebuds when Rose debuted(he was in a black cowboy hat).

His indy gimmick is “The Glamour King” Justyn Glory. Solid gimmick and he’s a good worker. That was really cool to see him on TV even if it was just for a few seconds.

Why not have Orton beat Kane? He’s a monster and can be a good metaphor instead of beating an IC champion.

I would have never thought I would say this but Smackdown needed three hours(at least this week) they seemed unwilling to cut things and indecisive about what they wanted to spend time on. They spent about third of the show on setting up Summerslam’s main event and they use it for Ziggler? I’m personally a little burnt out of Ziggler’s whole act and this just comes off as a placeholder feud to get to Ambrose v Styles.

But yeah the Randy Orton segment sucked. Took way to much time and made Miz look weak when Miz should be allowed to really shine on this show. I liked that they seem to be developing the younger guys finally and I honestly would have rather seen Corbin get a one off shot at Ambrose than see Ziggler v Ambrose which I have seen at least 5 times on Raw in the last calendar year. The women’s divison is meh and the tag division is meh( outside of AA and poor Rowan seems to be waiting for Harper to get healthy so that he is no longer invisible). But they have guys to fill out of a show every week and fill out PPVs if they are patient and don’t rush it.

Why the hell did Raw do everything they promised Smackdown would do while Smackdown just did the same it always did?

KB I think you are jumping the gun a little early here. First off I have no issue with Dolph challenging at Summerslam because he’s gone through alot. Both his World Title reigns were cut short with one maybe lasting 15 minutes if that and the other reign stopped because of a concussion. Second it will take some time for Smackdown to find its footing but i think it will be fine as time goes on.

Glad to see Rhyno back and Shelton Benjamin on his way back to help fill out the Roster.

Ziggler challenging for the title somehow feels like it takes away from Balor challenging for the other world title. As if rather than positioning Balor as an actual main eventer we’re gonna use this Summerslam to give midcarders the main event spotlight.

Also I’m irrationally excited for Benjamin’s return.

Not a bad show. My main problem was JBL tonight. I usually don’t have a problem with him. But every time Ranallo would lead us into commercial JBL would talk over him and get the last word in. It’s something small but it’s annoying. It’s like he’s asserting his dominance.

Another thing, I’m hoping Bray gets something important to do at Summerslam. I don’t really mind Ziggler winning but I’m hopeful a heel turn is coming down the line.
