This is why i despise the brand split. Quantity does not = quality. The company has lacked quality for so many years yet they just keep shoving more shit on the screen with no substance and expect something to work.

Seriously would it be so hard for Foley and Daniel Bryan to make deals with each other to get title matches for titles they don’t have every couple of months and in the down time people without a specific belt on their show could just do #1 contenders matches.

But no lets just shove some more titles but we won’t put any effort into it because then people might start getting over who are not suppose to get over.

How do you do one title without leaving one show as a lame duck?

Constant obligatory number one contender feuds are not exactly interesting.

How do you do long term angles with the title then? Everything would only be a one month deal.

The eventual solution will be them calling up NXT tag teams more quickly. NXT has got four solid tag teams and could easily see them split 3 to 1 between the main roster. This would gut NXT but they have shown they can bounce back fast when a division is gutted by focusing on the other two divisions and building the other slowly.

Hopefully the eventual solution is merging the belts again. There’s just no need to have two sets of titles with two rosters both lacking depth.

Or believe me I agree. They should have split up divisions and truly tried to brand each show as something different with unique titles and matches and formats but they are to afraid of alienating an audience instead of cultivating a separate one for each brand.

Its amazing how half assed WWE can be when booking strong talent or titles. Cena spends a lot of 2015 making the US title mean something again, then it goes back to meaning nothing once he drops it.

its quite simple really, put the titles on both believable teams and have them hold for as long as it takes for the unproven teams to get some fan support and legitimacy behind them. This also serves to strengthen both sets of titles with strong champions holding them for a long period of time.

They will run out of challengers quickly. Major problem.

It’s going to diminish the importance of the tag titiles if they’re 2 of them. Also I agree their isn’t enough dept for that on smackdown.

If nothing else, look at the stupid amount of World Title reigns some people have. It’s really hard to care when someone is winning their 13th or 14th World Title because we’ve seen it literally a dozen times before.
