Isn’t the theme song for MitB the same one that Trump used leading to WM22?

I haven’t watched wrestling this little since Raw became the Triple H show in 2003, and even then I had Smackdown to rely on. Excited for the Brock/Joe match though.

My big issue with MITB this year is it seems pointless. If you were to open up Smackdown this week and say that one of these 6 men had a shot that night aganist the WWE Champion, I’d be like, “OK sounds good” Guys like AJ and Owens have that right based on their own merits, so what good is this doing?

Further more, there is no proverbial “dark horse” this year. Guys like Evan Bourn, Kofi Kingston, Heath Slater, John Morrison. Guys who have essentially no chance of winning the match, but gain huge benefits just by being in it. Every guy this year is already a bonafide star. One thing i like about MITB is how it launches peoples careers with out them winning.

You can’t tell me that a guy like Chad Gable would not be perfect for this. Crazy athletic, super entertaining, and mad over with the crowd. He does something awesome in the match and his stock shoots up. Tye Dillinger would do nothing but benefit from the rub, etc. In my opinion a much better field would be, Corbin, Ziggler, Zayn, Harper, Rowen, Dillinger, Gable, and Kofi. Corbin still gets the case in the end, you get to highlight some mid card talent, and you don’t bury the US title. Its a much better option in the long run. But if there is anything this MITB screams, its major Long term loss, for a moderate short term gain

Considering the fact that rematches happen all the time. Long before either Brand split went into effect.

The theme song is fine, the bigger issue is the fact that this pay per view is just a placeholder in the smackdown pay per view title scene. Everyone and their mother knows Corbin is going to win which leaves the other guys in the exact same position they were before. Ziggler and Nakamura are going to continue feuding into the next pay per view and same can be said about Kevin Owens and AJ Styles.

There are too many pay per views for creative to use their ant sized attention span on so we are stuck with the same exact matches for months on end because there are too many shows where they need to come up with something. Shit look at Charlotte vs Sasha and the Owens/Jericho vs Reigns/Rollins series last summer to the end of the year. How many freaking combinations of those matches did we see every single pay per view and Raw?

I hate the brand split I truly do. There’s little point to watching most of the pay per views now because if it’s one where a feud starts I know I can expect a least 3 more pay per views of matches between the two and it’s not going to be mean a damn thing. I turned Extreme Rules off halfway because I realized none of this matters and I’m more than likely going to see the same matches a few more times so why bother? I guess I will just stick to the big 4 from now on.

The theme song is irritating and needs to be changed.

Not to disagree about the lazy booking. But I think you just came to the conclusion that you don’t like a majority of modern day wwe.
