What exactly is Corey’s role in all of this supposed to be?
I think just a friend and liaison.
I’ve not seen much of Alpha’s NXT work, but i’ve always been way more impressed with Jason Jordan in ring. I hope he can succeed in this role much lile Shelton initially did when he went to Raw.
Not seen many promos from JJ but is he really worse on interviews than Gable? I felt Gable came across very awkward on Smackdown & one thing that was noticeable (although nothing he can really change) is that his face is not very expressive, I dont know how far he can go solo?
But yeah I think it was too early to split them, theres all the teams on Raw they never got to face.
The thing with Gable is that he is goofy as hell just like Angle circa year 2000. That goofy light hearted, bromance between Gable and Jordan really gave Jordan a spark. If they let Gable be loose and funny than he will get over.
Jordan: We’re looking for more competition and we’ve issued a challenge to the greatest team in NXT history!
Gable: Come on man. We’ve talked about this.
Jordan: ?
Gable: We can’t wrestle ourselves.
That’s the kind of stuff you would get: Jordan as the straight man and Gable going over the top.
Ah right, hopefully Jordan can play off Angle & Gable gets to show more personality on smackdown, would be nice to see neither become the Jannetty/Neidhart!
