Bruno Sammartino Passes Away At 82

This is a big one.  Without Bruno, the company probably doesn’t survive the 1960s and we aren’t here today.  The man is one of the few genuine wrestling legends and there’s no replacing him.  Consider this: if Sammartino’s longest title reign ended today, it would have started before the Pipe Bomb.  Think about everything that’s happened in WWE (or anywhere else) since then.  One man was the Heavyweight Champion of the World that whole time.  This is a sad one but his life was amazing and deserves every tribute he receives.

Yeah a really sad one and i just love how insensitive Uncle Dave Metlzer is being with his comments about Bruno’s passing. Time and place Dave is all i can say.

RIP to one of the Greatest Of All Time.

The only thing I saw Meltzer say was never meet your heroes because you’ll be disappointed, which wasn’t the case with Bruno.

Yes definitely a sad one and every tribute is well deserved. I also find it ironic that he passed 2 weeks after Johnny V….they were in opposing corners at the first WrestleMania…..RIP
