Before I start, I wanna say that I’m planning on watching every wwe ppv from worst to best (do they still do lobotomies? I think I’m beyond normal levels of psychological help)

We get the Hardys and MNM to start in a really solid match. Nitro and Jeff looked good. Mercury did some decent work. Matt continues to be completely worthless when Jeff’s not 10 feet away from him.

Before I delve into the trainwreck that was the rest of the show, I’ll just say this: when Joey Styles and Tazz, two of the biggest diehard ECW employees not named Dreamer, are more interested in cracking jokes and being weird than the actual stuff in the ring, there should be your first red flag.

Mahoney was ok, but pretty worthless in mainstream. Striker was worthless waking up so I don’t think this had a great ceiling to start. Not to mention Striker has one of the most punchable faces I’ve ever seen

The tag was just comedy jobbers getting beat the the lower midcard flavors of the month. At least Trinity was hot.

Dreamer was (still is) a cult favorite more than anything, but Vince basically pissed on his credibility ever time he had a match. “Thanks for the hard work. Tonight you’re getting beat by a guy who can’t even tell whether he’s a wrestler and a manager. How does a midget sound for next time?”

When Kevin Thorn and Mike Knox are the workrate of their teams, there isnt much more that can be said.

The Chamber was a joke. Lashley, Test and Hardcore Holly in a chamber for the ECW world title? Enough said.

And to top it all off, the guy who actually cared about the show was sent home

Oooof… Well at least I got it over with
