My Wrestlemania Week Schedule

So for the first time in four years, I won’t be going to the show itself.  Therefore, I’m more than available for a ridiculous amount of indy shows, which is what I’m going to be doing.  In this case, I’ve looked at the schedule for shows that are available online in one platform or another and put together a list.  I’ve come up with twenty shows (not counting WWE/NXT) that I’m going to be trying to squeeze in.  I also have four shows that look good and if I can squeeze them/find them I’ll do them as well.  I make no secret of the fact that these will not be done by the end of Wrestlemania but I’m going to be reviewing more and more than I did since the old days when I would do three (or more) pay per views in a day (the day I did five Saturday Night’s Main Events still haunts me).  I’ve only vaguely heard of of some of these promotions/wrestlers but that’s what something like this is for.

For the sake of some surprise/me not going insane and not doing them/not being able to find them, I’m going to leave these under my hat (which is hanging on a shelf so it’s hard to keep them there) so stick around and see what I’ve got planned.

Why are you not going to the Show itself?

Come on man, Wrestlemania is going to 60 hours this year! I’m sure you could watch 60 hours of indy content as well 😉

I’m going up for the weekend, but not going to WM. We’re going to MLW Battle Riot, PW Revolver Pancakes and Piledrivers, the Wrestlecon Convention, and Axxess. We’ll probably try to squeeze some other stuff in. I figured it would be more enjoyable to watch eight hours of WM from the comfort of my couch than the nosebleeds of MetLife.

Very good idea indeed. If you can (not sure on ticket availability), try to go to the WrestleCon Supershow. The 2017 edition is the most fun I’ve ever had at a wrestling show by a mile.

WrestleCon is great for meeting wrestlers (DO NOT buy too many pictures/autographs in advance as it will cause you problems).

Axxess….well the memorabilia section and posters are awesome.

Sadly, we aren’t getting up until Friday afternoon so we’ll miss the Supershow. Thanks for the tips. I’ve already bought four photo ops in advance so I’ll hold off on any others.

The lines aren’t usually that bad, but headliners are awful. I stood in line for 30 minutes for Omega last year and then just gave up and ate the money I paid for it. Most people there will shake your hand and chat with you for a bit for free (provided there are no paying customers waiting). Some are jerks but that comes with the territory.

Yeah, I’ve been to other conventions and that’s typically how it goes. Sting is the only huge name I have on my list for this one.

Will your WrestleMania review be up the night of the show, or on Monday then?
