You are right KB but also the problem lies with the amount of televised matches the champion fights. There is no need for a champion to fight every week. Also, the stars today are lacking character and would rather put on a spotfest of a match instead of learning how to sell and build a character. But alas, those days may be gone. It would help Rollins a great deal to have a string of monsters to “slay” Maybe we need another Bobby Heenan type manager, and no Lio Rush does not come close.
It’s true on the number of matches.
And indeed on Rush. He can talk a lot and then wrestle a competitive match against Balor? What sense does that make?
