Paul Heyman And Eric Bischoff Now In Charge Of Monday Night Raw And Smackdown Live Creative

This is NOT a storyline and wow.I mean….wow.  It was clear that something had to be done to shake things up and this is certainly something.  Heyman has had a lot of success in a creative role before and Bischoff has experience running a major company.  The line you’ll hear about them though is they need a leash and while both will answer to Vince, that might not be the most sane source at the moment.  Either way, SOMETHING needed to change and it should be interesting to see who we get freshly pushed now.  I’m excited, though cautiously so.

I am pretty excited about this and one of the first things I imagine they do is eliminate the Wild Card rule allowing RAW & Smackdown going back to being separate Shows once again.

Are they actually going to be in charge creatively or are they just going to be in charge as in Triple H is VP of WWE Creative?

Vince decides what does and what doesn’t go on each week. If reports are true, he often either just tells the writers what he wants to happen and leaves them to fill in the blank or he basically writes the show himself. If Vince is still going to be meddling, then little or nothing will change. If Bischoff and Heyman are actually allowed to do, for the most part, what they want as far as the creative direction goes…then this could be a huge deal.

I just hope they actually are allowed to run the shows without too much Vince meddling.
