2 things to say Walter vs Bate may be one of if not the greatest match I have ever seen in my 26 years of watching wresting #Thank you WWE Network. Also is it just me or is Tyler Driver 97 and Storm Zero the same move?

I read the All Out review.. and then I read this review, and I figured it out. It clicked.

I don’t get a chance to watch much of the UK Brand with the exception of a couple episodes and now their two Takeover Blackpool and Cardiff Shows. This was a heck of a Show and easily better than most of the AEW All Out PPV.

The main event more than made up for any other shortcomings this show had. The tag title and last man standing were also great. I don’t see Webster/Andrews as anything more than transitional champs, but it was the right call. I would have guessed Mastiff going over Coffey to set him up as WALTER’s next challenger. I have no problem with Coffey going over though. Dar/Banks was a bad choice for an opener. It was just flat to me. Although, Dar does have the most punchable face which makes him a good enough heel. Cesaro was a nice addition and I have no issues with him going over. Ilja isn’t ready fo knock him off. The women’s match was just off. Even though she took the loss, Storm is such a bigger star compared to the rest of the women’s, she’s probably better off coming stateside.

    Solid show overall.

I agree that it’s not as good as the regular NXT TakeOvers, but this was still a very, very good 3 hours or so of wrestling that any company would’ve been proud to lay claim to.

There wasn’t anything bad on the show, probably the most underwhelming thing was the NXT UK Women’s Championship match but even it was still pretty good as was the opening of Dar vs. Banks.

Cesaro vs. Dragunov was a great, physical, hard hitting, competitive match. Cesaro has been one of the most reliable in-ring talents in WWE history, you know he can work with just about anyone and put on a great match. I wouldn’t mind seeing him in NXT UK for a while. I expected Dragunov to lose, I agree that I’m confused as to why they had him lose to Kassius Ohno but whatever.

I thought the tag team match was a lot of fun. The crowd was invested, the teams were clicking, the action was there and it ended really in the best way it should’ve with the hometown boys of Andrews and Webster winning the tag titles over the actual champs.

Mastiff vs. Coffey could’ve been lousy, LMS matches are something of a roll of the dice, but they kept things simple here and it worked. Just two big guys hitting each other, knocking each other down, hitting a big spot and repeat.

Walter vs. Tyler Bate…shit man…pretty much everything you could ever want in a pro wrestling match. The action, the physicality, the storytelling, the psychology were all top notch. I was legitimately surprised when I saw that the match had gone over 40 minutes as it felt like maybe 25 to me.

Overall, a B+, POSSIBLY an A- for the overall show as the main event really was everything anyone could’ve hoped it to be. Nothing from All Out can top it, at least not from what I’ve seen.
