I’ve managed to make a full blown convert out of my older brother, a lapsed fan who hasn’t really watched wrestling in the better part of 10 years.

He said he wanted to get back into it this year, so I put him to watching NXT and AEW, as well as letting him have access to my WWE Network account so he can look up some past stuff from NXT and NXT UK. Even though he wasn’t hugely familiar with a lot of the UK talent, the matches made him care and become interested in them, which is the absolute best thing that could’ve happened considering he’s watching a bunch of people he’s only really heard about.

Everything on the show was strong, the women’s title match was a solid outing and was probably better than it had any right to be. It was placed between a white hot tag team match and a white hot main event, both of which were the two most anticipated bouts on the card, so nice work from the ladies at any rate. What’s considered “solid” from NXT would qualify as “great” almost everywhere else so, again, another NXT show where there’s nothing even remotely bad on the card.

Some good stuff here especially the 8 Man Tag and DIY/Mustache Mountain Matches, hopefully Alexander Wolfe is ok. Can I ask why you don’t like Mia Yim?

I don’t have a specific reason. Just something about her I don’t like. The HBIC nickname might be it as that sounds moronic.
