First off i love the fact they’re bringing back In Your House and this time as a Takeover Event. Kinda cool it’s IYH and Backlash back to back Sundays. I honestly think it’s going to be Keith Lee challenging Adam Cole next maybe on June 7th. Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher was a breath of fresh air because we really don’t see alot of mat based Matches these days. I enjoy most of today’s style but it’s nice to still see that here & there.

I know it’s been said before by him with these type of promos esp 2 years ago with the black Ciampa triangle stuff and on this forum, but when Johnny talks like that I’m 17 years old and it’s Bret Hart talking and Canada vs USA

Look scripted lines are said in movies and tv shows every year writers write lines for other actors But it’s the cadence and the delivery of the line from the performer that brings it home. It was authentic and had real grit to it because he’s experiencing these emotions as hes saying them. I prefer this Johnny whos in between much like Bret Hart rather than Johnny or Hart staring at the camera spewing lines. Great stuff
Ps. I also like how they slow his speech down so it just doesn’t come off as a regular Johnny promo. Wwe as a whole deserves its criticism for a lot of things, but when everything comes together from all aspects it’s nice and easy to see

Takeover seems to be shaping up nicely. Gargano/Lee, Ciampa/Kross, Riddle/Thatcher, Balor/Martinez, Shirai/Ripley/Charlotte all seem like locks for it. I feel like the wrong people are getting pushed in the cruiserweight tournament, but the matches have been good. They’re in a weird spot with Martinez. He needs a big win, but I can’t see him going over Balor. I’m glad Imperium got the belts instead of Bivins team, which thankfully have seemed to disappear. The segment with UE seemed awfully familiar, but keeping them on TV every week is smart.

KB, who do you think is next up for Cole? I don’t think the program with Dream is over, but I don’t see him dropping the belt to him.
