On the show, a few ideas were thrown around. Using Otunga’s lawyer skills to manipulate WWE more, going after every title on every show, and adding Triple H in a Summerslam swerve (to help Nexus beat Team WWE). Which of these do you think would have helped the group the most?

The Triple H one, though I’m not sure how much of a connection he had to NXT at that point.

He didn’t, but the person he would become would have fit perfectly. This could have started his transition to management a bit earlier (and made it more logical later when he removed Vince from power). It also would have given Nexus a veteran leader that had no “skin in the game” in terms of stepping on their toes. As said on the show, he’s the Dibiase of the nWo to them.

That would have worked, but they might have needed to drop a member or two. Having nine people is a bit much.

I agree, which is why the proposed storyline was that they went for ALL the titles and ALL the shows. And naturally, someone would fail and be kicked out. That person would feud with whomever they felt was at fault for their failure. Example: Darren Young fails to win US title and is kicked out. He lost after failed interference by Slater. Feuds with him over it, but has to get a partner as Slater is tag champ. Creates a couple months of minor storyline while also thinning the herd.
