I doubt very much that the Forgotten Sons were off T.V. for months on end because of what their partner said considering A.) The McMahon Family’s political background, and B.) A lot of their talent going around openly supporting a group that was rioting and looting all summer. If this was the case, shame on them for only supporting free speech one way.

    • Thomas Hall says:

It does seem to be the case. It wasn’t so much what Ryker said but rather when he said it, which didn’t go well with either the company or a lot of people in the locker room.

      • Joe Hunter says:

Then like I said, shame on them for bowing to the group think mob.

      • Tyler Owens says:

The locker room would be one thing, but why did it not go over well with the company? Do they have some kind of policy where they are forbidden to talk about political things on their social media accounts?

        • Thomas Hall says:

Given the political climate at the time, there was no way anything that what Ryker said was going to go well.

        • Joe Hunter says:

Bro, they don’t. These assholes were openly supporting domestic terrorist groups burning down the country and violently assaulting people in the street. But saying you supported the President for trying to stop them was way over the line.

Did it hit anyone seeing Vince and Gerald Briscoe standing next to each other some? That got me in the feels. Also dug the 6 Man Tag and seeing the Original IC Title Belt..

Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens should be a fun TLC Match.

I’m also glad the Forgotten Sons are getting another chance on Smackdown as Corbin’s henchmen.

  3. Grandmaster B says:

Do you think Kalisto interrupting that Kevin Owens interview will lead to something? If not, that may be the most random thing I’ve ever seen on a pro wrestling show.

    • Thomas Hall says:

I’m not sure what that would be leading to and unless it was a reference that went over my head, I think it was just some random deal. Maybe not, but it was out there.

  4. Stone Cold Tea says:

Did Pat Patterson love quick pins? Also, that tribute video they did to him was amazing.

    • Jack-Hammer says:

Oh yeah, Patterson was big on sudden, surprise wins. Two of his bigger moves were the Atomic Drop, that Bryan used, and the Small Package Bryan used to win the match.

Patterson thought quick wins that seemingly came out of nowhere added a bit of believability to the match, especially if you’re up against someone that was bigger and stronger.

      • Joe Jones says:

I’ve always subscribed to that philosophy myself. It actually trains you to pay attention to all the near-falls in the match you otherwise would not.
