Good article. The thing about it that is the most mind-boggling is with 3 hours to kill, you think they would be MORE inclined to give an angle like this time, not LESS.
Good read, I definitely agree with the format hurting what should be emotionally invested moments. I had to stop and remember that “Oh yeah, that happened. Huh.” Not the reaction that should be receiving.
Side bar, this totally reminds me of the time in WCW Vampiro set Sting on fire but they kept cutting to Jarrett bashing his guitar on Booker T’s knee. It basically felt like Sting being torched was secondary to… another Jarrett guitar attack. I remember my reaction to that being “Oh, Sting got set on fire. *shurgs*”
