My brother is gonna be pissed. I see no comments distancing from Jay H’s comment at all. You all need to take this seriously. Follow the science and avoid Jay’s stupidity at all costs! Together we can end this JAYdemic. But we need the cooperation of all of you.

Anyone else concerned that the current WWE champion is feuding with Bad Bunny heading into Wrestlemania?
You really can’t think that giving the title to Bunny is off the table here.
Besides, Drew/Lashely has been done and I’m not sure why it needs to be rehashed again.

I love the logic of HHH being the one to invent this. Kayfabe-wise, let’s have a six-man elimination match for my title on steel.

It was a good Show really and while im not keen on Miz being WWE Champion again i don’t totally dislike the idea for a few weeks anyway. He’s at least either going to drop as soon as RAW or at least by Fast Lane to Bobby Lashley who’s being primed i think for a run which then sets up Lashley/Drew at WM 37.

Both the RAW & Smackdown Elimination Chamber Matches were excellent. Definitely looking forward to Roman Reigns & Edge as well.

Keith Lee i think was probably slated to win tonight so maybe his injury is legitimate. I am happy for Matt Riddle though, he’s needed something for a bit now.

I am pretty sure Keith Lee is either injured or recovering from Covid-19. Apart from that i am just glad that the MITB cloud is finally over.

Not sure how true this is but Vince doesn’t get the appeal of Lee.

I can’t explain it but I’m beyond stoked for The Miz to be WWE Champion again. Not as much for the wrestling aspect as I’m happy for the man to actually get the championship.

John Morrison was awesome tonight. Miz was awesome Monday.

Together they’ve been comedy jobbers. I hope that this is the beginning of them no longer being comedy jobbers, and instead become 2 serious competitors (either separate or together).

    Ok, here we go:

The four way was just a way for Ricochet and Ali to build their issues. I see New Day, Ricochet and a fourth against Retribution coming at Fastlane or Raw. Morrison winning is fine, and Elias was there like usual.

Loved both Chamber matches, as they got rid of the dead weight (Corbin and Zayn) in the SD match early and let the workers shine for once. Bryan and Cesaro are both so good it’s scary, and Cesaro/Rollins should be good too. Bryan is in an interesting spot as he’s been in a slight slump, won the chamber, and lost due to Heyman’s politics. I like him in that role and there’s a few ways they can go. Hey and Kevin look destined for Mania, and it should be good as a blood feud. Zayn is hilarious and I can’t wait to see who they find to punch him next. Corbin… Yeah moving on.

    Most importantly though:
Edge vs Roman in the main event is gonna rock. Sure, it won’t be a technical masterpiece. However, Wrestlemania main events are based off of emotion and crowd involvement. Edge in a title match at Wrestlemania 10 years after he wrestled in his last match at Wrestlemania, along with the story of the resilient Old guard vs the ruthless, unbeatable Big Dog, should be amazing. I’ve been a huge fan of Edge since I was 6 and every time he’s out there I get so much joy. It should be awesome!!! May I dare say REEK OF AWESOMENESS???

Riddle is a stud in the ring. I’ve wanted him to breakout and he outsmarted Frankenstein and his monster (THE DOCTOR WAS FRANKENSTEIN DAMMIT!!!) and beat a talented veteran for a title. Maybe he and Lee have a banger at WM for the title and bring legitimacy to it, but in a Vince run company, I may be asking a lot. Morrison is fine. I’ll get into why I think Lashley losing the title is the best way to go in a second.

Can Banks and Belair let their talent speak at the big stage already, or do Sommeliers, hole jokes and all the other nonsense need to be here? (I know, I know, 7 weeks until the big match, but still, the overthinking is killing me.) Nia and Shayna losing to Raquel and Dakota makes sense though, as Raquel can look more legit beating two main roster monsters, Dakota can avenge herself against Shayna, and NXT can make the titles halfway credible again.

As for the Raw title scene, I have a few thoughts:

First, Chamber was great. Kofi and Orton could have a decent side-program leading to The Fiend vs Orton, if they ever build on that elimination. Hardy had zero reason to be in there, and even less to last longer than Kofi and Orton, but he was a good punching bag that occasionally hit back. I forgot he was in there a lot, which can be a mixed bag. Sheamus can brag about causing Drew to lose, even though he did very little, and just irk him more. AJ is one of the best sellers in the history of wrestling (Rock and HBK maybe his only competition) and watching him get smacked out of mid air with finishers never gets old. He’s been my favorite since I started watching wrestling (I started TNA at the same time I did WWE believe it or not, give or take) and he truly is phenomenal. Also, I would’ve marked if he won the title.

I like the Lashley thing, cause he cut an awesome promo on The Bump about McIntyre ducking him since Backlash, and having him as McIntyres big bad when he beats Miz and Sheamus is a good way to go. The Hurt Business has been awesome, and MVP in a mouthpiece role, Lashley as the monster, Benjamin as the veteran, and Alexander as the youth is a great dynamic. I thought it was dumb at first, but man the character work has been top notch. As for Miz, his ridiculous promos should be the greatest thing ever.

    Match ratings for me:
Four Way- C for an entertaining match

SD Chamber- B+ for top level wrestling drama, with only Corbin bringing it down for me

Universal Title- D for match, A+ for angle

US Title- B- for a big win and having a story make sense

Women’s Tag Titles- A, with the A standing for Apathy

WWE Title Chamber- B for psychology and a couple of twists, with Hardy bringing it down a notch

Post-Match angle- A because everything made sense for once

Overall, show was a B+ for me, as only my complete lack of anything remotely resembling caring involving wine connesuers brought it down for me

As always KB, great review, and love to hear your feedback!!!
