Anyone losing a job sucks. That said, Tamina, Dana Brooke, and Lana are all still there though???
Brooke and Lana I can understand. Tamina is older, not very good and has a horrible reputation. Brooke has at least improved and Lana has something resembling a track record of success outside of the ring. It doesn’t make sense.
Neither Dana or Lana have the personality of Billie or as smooth in the ring as Peyton (more an indictment on them than an endorsement of Peyton). They both seem nice enough but I’d rather have The IIconics.
Oh they’re both better prospects than any of these three. I don’t get it either.
I’ve been reading your reviews for years now since 2009 as we’ve discussed before. What is going on after Wrestlemania? The Iiconics were Laycool but actually trying to work. Not saying Laycool weren’t some of the better workers or promos of that generation but .. really? Dana is trying but how many years has she not gotten there? I always saw something in Peyton and Billie. Billie more because she is tall enough, has a matching signature move (big boot) and can work as a face or a heel. I’m just shocked in general at the decisions that were made since Sunday’s show with the exception of NXT which I’m glad I watched. If they botch Smackdown tonight I won’t be very happy.
It really does come off like they have made their decisions on who is getting pushed and nothing that the wrestlers do matters. That is very, very disheartening and not exactly something that is going to help morale, either from the wrestlers or the fans.
Do you happen to know if any of the wrestlers the WWE released can jump to another company and start work immediately, or is the “no compete clause” attached in these situations?
It’s 90 days non-compete. They will be paid for 3 months.
