KB, do you think these releases are really that bad aside from PR. Bray, Bryan has done all they can for WWE and these change of scenario will only keep them fresh.

I don’t think the major releases have anything to do with budget cuts because if it was that they would have released many lower-end players instead of players who are crowd favorites.

Bray is a big one, just because of the potential that was there.

Bryan is a bonafide main eventer and headlined Wrestlemania four months ago. That alone makes him important.

The rest…..not so much. Strowman kind of is, but the vast majority of the releases are just names on a bloated roster.

Oh and Black was the epitome of stupid from WWE, but if they weren’t going to use him, it didn’t matter anyway.

      • ShawnHBK says:

I definitely agree, Black is the stupidest decision. They could have just moved him to NXT like Balor and he would have helped the brand.

Bray, I am at the point of like he needs a change of surroundings as I love the character work but it gives me the feeling of Taker’s run in 1995 where there is no soul in the stories which is being presented.

For Bryan, I won’t put it on WWE because he looked like he wanted to do his own thing where he can have matches in different companies before he hangs up as I don’t think he will want to keep a regular schedule.

Others I think they are the victim of WWE panicking when AEW started and now they are paying up for the high salaries including Bray and Strowman.

Honestly, people have been released many times due to various reasons over the decades but now we are getting notified of it, people are overdoing it with the comments about these releases from both inside and outside the company.

        What are your thoughts?

        • Thomas Hall says:

People are overreacting a bit. On one hand, these people leaving WWE doesn’t matter much as they weren’t being used in the first place. On the other hand, they might be something elsewhere, but (for the most part), if they were going to be a star, they already would be.
