Only about a section away from the ring & yeah I’ll seem biased but I thought from an in ring perspective this has to be WWE’s Best worked PPV of the year.

I’m really intrigued at how you feel about the finish to the match. Not so much the rope breaking, but Balor getting rejuvenated by the heartbeat/red lights. I feel like I remember you not being a fan of The Fiend’s red lighting for his matches but I felt this worked really well, it gave Balor a different energy, and it didn’t overstay its welcome.

I still hope we find out that the rope breaking was caused by someone, leading to Balors next feud. It’d be weird if it just “randomly” happened.

I can go for the lights for the last three minutes of a match. Having them on the whole match was stupid.

I didn’t hate it like a lot of people have. It had me thinking of Hogan doing the full Hulk Up against Warrior at Wrestlemania VI but missing the legdrop and getting shocked, allowing Warrior to beat him.

Seriously though what’s the kayfabe explanation going to be for the rope breaking? Also Usos couldn’t have caused a dq as it was extreme rules and they had already came out there.

This show felt mid to me, liked the first match and the last match other than the really dumb finish but the rest of the card felt average. I kind of zoned out on Becky/bianaca but it felt like crowd was dead for good portion of it. I think they’re still not used to heel Becky and lack of extreme as well. Charlotte/alexa was better than expected but the post match stuff was cringe af and Alexa obviously isn’t getting a big push off her cringe gimmick. I wonder if Roman wanted the rest of the matches to be regular so his match would stand out more as he’s known to do stuff like that. I get that Sasha interfering was a smart save but it’s a dq at extreme rules like Jesus Christ.
